I recently had the pleasure of visiting Arteaga's Food Center in Santa Clara, California, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere that made me feel right at home.

Although I didn't have the chance to try their prepared food offerings, the aromas coming from the deli section were tantalizing. The menu looked enticing, with a tempting array of authentic Mexican dishes and flavorful snacks. I'm definitely planning to return to sample their prepared foods on my next visit.

I decided to come here with family since it was a closeby spot. I'm impressed by how fast I got my food despite being busy - this was one of the best tasting quesadillas I've had in the area! The portions are very generous (I should've saved some for later instead of downing the whole tray in a sitting lol!). I would definitely love to come back if I'm craving Mexican.

I was buying lunch and dinner all the day I was working in Santa Clara! Great menu!

There was a young man that works here that seriously helped me with finding items and ordering at the meat, cheese, and salsa counters as i don't speak much spanish. Thank god for him. Thank you so much!!!!

Great place to find things as Chicharrones, Membrillo, Guavas and other common things from Mexico

It's a great local place for your Mexican food needs. Staff is friendly and courteous. It's a bit cramped within the store as it is small and they utilize every square foot. I'm from the Valley of CA and Mexican ingredient's seem to be more plentiful. Nonetheless this place takes care of all my needs and wants.

I was doing traffic control outside of here on Sunday morning for an emergency call went in and they heated me up 3 tamales two jalapeno and cheese and one chicken and got them all ready for me It was so delicious and the price was right

Good corner store for grocery staples and Mexican food ingredients. The meat department has a nice selection (the fajita chicken was tasty). Aisles are skinny and it can get pretty crowded.

Update 2023:
Aaah they just opened a taqueria at this location and expanded their bakery into it. The food was very tasty, seasoning just right. No seating.
The cakes looked good, but my dentist tells me not to eat so much sugar.

This is a nice small grocery store perfect for quick trips. The prices are very affordable and they have a decent selection of vegetables, fruits, meat, chicken, and fresh cheeses. Parking is limited and the store is small. If there are many customers, it may feel crowded.

Great variety of Mexican products, alot of fresh meat of all of the types. Definitely good small shopping place

Actually it's my neighborhood market , whenever I am out of something in kitchen , always prefer for real quick shopping for fresh veggies , chicken .
Most important prices are reasonable & staff is so friendly..

Delightful neighborhood place with amazing meat selection. Got some life altering bacon. And they taught me how to ask for it in Spanish which was an extra treat 😊

Great local market with fair prices. Their raw meats are of good quality for cooking.

The best arrachera, love the garlic butter fish and shrimp already prepared. The gentlemen are really friendly at the meat and deli

Quick stop for all my salad ingredients specially pursalne.Clean store and hardworking team members make it one of my favourites.

Love to have a grocery store near my home to buy all the ethnic ingredients that i need to make my special dishes. The location has a small parking spot that is always full.

The store is small and the staff is mostly Hispanic so youll kinda need to know Spanish to order meat from the butcher. This is a great place if youre looking for a place to get some quick snacks

Great local store - all hard-to-find chiles, GREAT meat selection, all really good quality! Highly recommend!!!
