I want to say a special thank you to Emma for being kind and patient with me today. Dr. Hill is our new vet at this location and was delightful to work with. He was kind and clear about the plan of care for my little man.

I love that they have a text line! It’s super helpful and I appreciate being able to text since I work a lot, and don’t always have the ability to catch a phone call.

I want to preface my suggestion below by saying I know there is a serious veterinary shortage nationwide right now. As a person who works in health care, I know first hand that staffing shortages are so, so real, and make serious impacts on day-to-day operations.

I dropped off my pup around 8:45am for an urgent drop off and didn’t get him back until around 5:15pm. I didn’t receive a phone call update or a text update on what the timeline was looking like, which I think would be super helpful for pet parents, especially in “urgent drop-off only” situations.

I hope the Carp Vet Hospital is able to recruit some more folks to help with staffing/appointments/etc. They are a great group of professionals and our community is very lucky to have Carp VCA.

I may be biased but the entire staff at Carpinteria Veterinary are perhaps the best trained and best caring team on the West Coast. They are so very accommodating and always current with training, best practices and new trends in pet care. We trust them fully for all our pet care needs!

Great place to bring your pets. They have great customer service, and they care about their patients. I drive from Oxnard because I know they'll take care of my cat 🐈‍⬛

My cat needed care. He'd stopped eating. We saw Dr Fisher and were treated with the same compassionate care and professionalism that we receive every time we go, no matter which we've seen. We've seen most of the Vets there over the years. Highly recommend.

We were traveling and staying at the State Beach when our elderly cat ran out of medicine. The vet got us in the same day, did an exam and consult with our home vet and was able to refill the RX. She was very thorough and kind. Highly recommend.

Excellent care for your furry friends. The staff is great and the doctors are thorough.

Total joke! They will turn you away even if your dog is really sick..claim they cannot take new clients!
