Horrible experience here to return. Their shoes are good looking but NOT comfortable at all. NO RETURN IN THIS STORE. Doesn't matter that you find it a lot cheaper somewhere else or whatever reason. Employees are not helpful at all. Read the reviews before you go.

You’d think after so many 1 star reviews they’d hire new employees or at least train them to have better customer service. I asked for an email receipt and the employee never sent me one so I now I can’t return boots that have never been worn and are still in the new packaging. I called the manager and spoke with Bree she was very rude, kept interrupting me and making unprofessional remarks at me.

Bummer that I can’t give 0 or negative stars but the employees here are really mean rude and helpless. Not sure if it’s because I’m minority and they are just racist but they are really really rude. I bought a pair of shoes and literally wore twice and they didn’t let me return nor store credit. It was uncomfortable also I found the exact same shoes on Nordstrom Rack for $30 cheaper. No return, no price match. I asked for their managers number, Christina said her manager doesn’t have a number. Is that a joke?! A person doesn’t have a number? I hope you read this before going to this shoe store in Valley Fair. Not comfortable. Not worth it. And you can never return. This is what I want to tell Steve Madden as a company: your goal is not yo resell what customers return. Your goal should be trying to make your customers happy and come back. Also at least train your employees to be helpful, friendly and educated. Try to do something when customers are not happy. I will never come back to this brand again.

I went to this store while on Vacation visiting my Big Bro, walk in not greeted ok no biggie but then when I pick a shoe and tell the employee my size she does not bring the shoes to me, she stands at the register and goes here you go. Because how dare I condescend to think she could bring the shoes to me, she’s the Customer not me. LOL
Then I pick my size and go to pay another employee comes from the back to start talking to the brinks guy and then proceeds to stare me down. So I had time that day so I stared back at her. Umm the brinks guy might be picking up money so if you want to flirt with him, please don’t forget the customers that put money there for brinks to pick up ‘ it’s just food for thought’ If you don’t want a certain minority in you’re STEVE MADDEN PLEASE PUT A SIGN UP THEN I WILL KNOW THAT YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED IN MY MONEY AND I WILL WALK ON! The really sad thing was I hadn’t seen a Steve Madden store in awhile and was really happy when I walked in. The Employees in your store or CO are a reflection of that CO.

Purchased a shoe from this store before flying back home out of state to Alabama. It was to be delivered via mail. I needed to return it as it did not fit correctly when I received it. I received a total run around by the store and manager and other personnel. Steve Madden has a horrible refund policy. Needless to say I never received my refund after going through great lengths even by having my friend, who lives in Oakland, mail the receipt in as proof of purchase. I work in California periodically and will never buy Steve Madden again.

This is the first one star I can remember giving, and it is well deserved. I purchased shoes in Las Vegas, and decided that I wouldn’t wear them so brought them back days after my return. I did not keep the shoe box because I needed to make room in my luggage.

This has never been a problem. I have purchased shoes from Target, Nordstrom, and Jimmy Choo—never had an issue.

To add insult to injury, the store manager was incredibly unprofessional and regardless of the outcome, failed miserably to deliver the customer service one might expect.

When I insisted that she call the Las Vegas location to verify the promise of a return should I change my mind, she did so reluctantly and snubbed me when she was encouraged to uphold the commitment.

I empathize with retailers and would never leave a scathing review unless the circumstances were so horrific as was this one. I would discourage you from going to this location.

Terrible return policy and rude staff. Ordered a pair of shoes online and they were too big, so I took them to this store to return them. Showed them the order confirmation and everything and they refused to give me my money back. It was either receive store credit or let them keep the merchandise and I call customer service for a refund back to my card... I ended up doing store credit, because I didn’t trust getting a refund from customer service.
