I love this park - have walked the sidewalks hundreds of times. This park is always kept very clean and debris removed. There isn't a lot of parking in the lot but there is a lot of street parking available. On the weekends, this place is busy - birthday parties, dogs, families, music - it's a fun time.

I wish the dog park was more than dirt but I'm sure its difficult to maintain grass at a large dog park.

Beautiful park! Loved the wide open space at the dog park. If you're a dog person you really need to here and read the sign posted on the dog park entrance gate. It's absolutely hilarious and is something we all have thought before but would never say out loud. Well park officials made a sign of it and put it up. I loved it and you will too.

Sunnyvale has so many beautiful parks and this is ONE OF THEM!
You can do anything here: exclusive playgrounds for 2-4 year old and older kids, volleyball club, baseball, soccer, smooth pavement for skateboarding, picnic, and many more.
Come with your dog, kids, mom and even grandma and enjoy the beautiful afternoon 😉

Las Palmas Park is a stunning outdoor haven that offers a delightful experience for all visitors. With its ample sunlit spaces, it's an excellent spot to bask in the sun and get a healthy dose of Vitamin D while enjoying activities like jogging, walking, and running along the well-maintained pathways. The picturesque pond and fountain add a touch of serenity to the surroundings, creating a perfect backdrop for relaxation and picnics with friends and family.

One of the highlights of the park is its dog-friendly policy, which makes it a joyful destination for our furry friends. Tennis enthusiasts can engage in friendly matches, while children can have a blast in the playground area, filled with swings and other attractions.

Overall, Las Palmas Park is a treat for both the eyes and the body, offering a well-rounded experience that appeals to people of all ages. Whether you seek a peaceful moment in nature, an energetic workout, or quality time with loved ones, this park has something for everyone.

A big scenic park in the middle of Sunnyvale. It has all the big sought-after facilities such as playground, picnic tables, baseball ground, dedicated dog parks and also a huge lawn area with plenty of greenery and trees. This also has a massive pickup volleyball scene and there are always a ton of volleyball games happening. Personally, it's my favorite park in Sunnyvale.

Update: the pond now is full of water again!

Grass is always in perfect condition, there's plenty of room for families, oldies and 'volleylballers' to enjoy the park without disturbing each other. Really nice park.

More green grass than you know what to do with, more play areas, with sand pits, for kids to keep them busy, and loads of shade for you to picnic. There are also bbq pits that you can reserve. There are three parking lots around the park. If you are walking with an elder, there are paved paths all around the park which work with a walking stick or walker.

A great park for kids and adults.

A beautiful park! There appears to be a volleyball league here that plays as well. I've been visiting these past few weeks and have played tennis on the courts here with my brother and his friends. It's a really good time! The tennis courts need to be reserved online which ensures orderly scheduling; that's really nice. There's also plenty of free parking and private group lessons are available from tennis pros and trainers as well. Definitely recommend this park!

This park is HUGe! It has multiple reserved spots for celebrations and on weekends it’s completely taken! It’s got tennis and pickleball lessons in the courts behind. The fountain area is dry offering kids still learning a sturdy place to ride 🚲 slides and playground are good too 👍🏽

Pretty amazing park. You can tell the city put a lot of money into it and a lot of planning to make it a park of many flavors. You have a 2-8 yr old park that is surrounded by a fence and has a door that would only be accessible to a parent. Then you have "the big kids park" as my kids called it which had one story high slides. Then this park has a water type section where I'm assuming during the summer it sprays water from different directions onto the kiddies. Then to round off this huge community park you get a lady who sets up her speaker and starts to work out and others come and join her in the excersise! This park is also super dog friendly, includes a very large enclosed area for your pooches to run around and mingle. Overall hands down a park of many good flavors that any type of family can enjoy.

Fun park to bring your kids or just to relax. The manmade pond surrounding the playground is full. Definitely adds to the experience. Lots of space and shaded benches to eat at.

Lovely park. Full of green grass and huge play area for adults and kids. Surrounded by trees and always brimming with life. Spotted a lot of dog parents bonding with their pet or training. Great green space in the local neighborhood.

Nice park. Big! Lots of grass. Pic-nic tables & restrooms. A great place for families. Tennis center and a nice dog park. I went specifically to the dog park and walked around without my cane for 20 minutes looking for the restrooms. Signs would be nice. I found plenty of handicapped parking so that was a plus.

It's a good and large park with a beautiful view of the sunset and is usually well taken care of and not too crowded. Nearby there are places to get coffee and snacks, as well and different places to do tenis, baseball, and often times people playing volley. Although for the tenis you got to schedule ahead of time.

The Las Palmas Park at the south park of Sunnyvale. It is one of the park almost everyone can find some fun things to do here. I like the huge grass area that many people play soft ball and picinic (with benches and in the shady area) also play ground for the kids and dog park. We like to go there with our dog-Star. It is big area for large dogs.He usually will find other dogs to play with. I will sit on the bench to relax. Sometimes we bring lunch box to eat at the picinic area.

Love this park for kids, dogs, and adults!!!!
Watch where you walk.
The waterfowl droppings are primarily around the water, and there are some large holes where the utilities are in the lawn area, so watch where you walk, especially in the grass area between the water and tennis courts.
The gates to the dog runs appear to be on an electric timing lock. You can get out but not back in.

Wonderful place to spend time with kids. My sons loved the place from the first visit. There are a lot of activities to do: big playgrounds for any age, nice small lake and huge fields to walk.

Small parking lot for the park, two different playgrounds, plenty of room for the kids to run around and a safe space.
