Felton Covered Bridge County Park

Great little park nestled among the Redwoods and the restored Old Covered Bridge. Porta potties available and a water fountain for the hot days. Great little circular path surrounding the grassy area, good for walking your dog or teaching your kid to ride their bike. Shopping, food, and Drug Store within walking distance.

Very cool historic landmark right next to a beautiful playground and park and an excellent easy to access location in Felton. I definitely will return with the rest of the family.

This is a must see in Felton!
Built in 1892-93 and believed to be the tallest covered bridge in the country, it stood as the only entry to Felton for 45 years. In 1937 it was retired from active service to become a pedestrian bridge and figured prominently in many films of that period. After suffering damage in the winter storms of 1982, it was restored to its original elegance in 1987 using native materials and local talent.

Don't miss this amazing covered bridge in historic Felton; the tallest in the country, by the way! Its structure and construction are something to behold, with enormous beams and cross timbers balancing the massive weight. Skillful builders carried out this feat in 1892.

My family and I enjoyed our visit. The park is nice and it is especially fun for a rainy day. When the raindrop start falling run onto the bridge! The rain on the redwood shingle roof sounds wonderful. The bridge is fantastic and is wide enough that you can pass others while maintaining social distance.

Had a great time! Met with friends from out of town. Found each other quickly...no hassle. Easy parking, very clean, clean porta-potties, friendly atmosphere and just a positive experience. Great old bridge in wonderful condition....didn't want to leave😃

Peaceful, well kept/maintained, handicap friendly, children's joy. Wonderful historical landmark to appreciate.

Special little spot to check out if you're headed down towards Santa Cruz!! A lovely little surprise it was finding this place.

There's a health food store, coffee shop, kids park, & equestrian place of some sort (didn't check that out) all steps away from the Felton Covered Bridge.

Great little sunny park with busy playground. Kids lived the really through the bridge and to the horse ranch

Great historic landmark to visit if your near Felton California, just north of Santa Cruz. Not much to do here but good photo spot.
