Layla at MacArthur Place

A solid, well-executed Christmas prix fixe menu. We did Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas Day lunch.

For dinner - The scallops were succulent and the pork chops were so tasty. The pork was a thick cut and I was worried it wouldn't be cooked through, but I was wrong. The Parker rolls in a small cast iron pan was amazing. The desserts were also good.

For breakfast, started with the avocado toast with salmon and bread from Della Fattoria. Entree was the steak and eggs. Hubby got the omelette. Coffee was strong and not overly fruity or acidic. I heard it was from Healdsburg (Wolf?).

Loved having the best meals we had this year and definitely the highlight of the holidays. The service was top notch - attentive but not overly fake friendly. I was so impressed by the professionalism of all the staff we encountered during our stay. Please keep it up. We are locals who love to support Sonoma County businesses and happy to see when it's done well.

Book my stay at MacArthur Park for my birthday and made reservations at Layla as I’ve been wanting to try. I was NOT disappointed. The service was top notch and the food was perfectly plated and so clean. Portions were perfect and wine was outstanding. We went back in for breakfast and once again everything was over the top as well.
This is one restaurant/ hotel we will be coming back too!!! Thanks MacArthur Park for a wonderful birthday weekend!

Love this place. There was complementary Valet parking which I absolutely loved. The staff was incredible. Margaux was our waitress and she was attentive, absolutely incredible and CUTE! Ashley the pastry chef came out to personally serve us our dessert and came out again to ask us how it tasted. It made us feel really special! The bartender from Scotland was so fun to chat with and the ambience of the entire venue was perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I cannot wait to come back!

We stopped here for dinner before a concert. The staff were very friendly and the food was really good. The kitchen made a mistake on my husband's meal and the manager took care of it no problem. We didn't expect his action and we appreaciate it, we highly recommend this place if you're looking for a romantic place and delicious food. We'll definitely come back.

This was an amazing place to eat, one of my favorites in recent memory. The back patio was so pretty with lots of plants, nice lights and a great design.

They took really good care of us, and our food arrived in just the right amount of time. The herbed bread was yummy, but we absolutely loved the pumpkin tart. It was incredibly good.

We also tried the pasta and fish, and both were great. We would definitely order them again. I would strongly suggest this place! Layla was the perfect spot for our brunch.

-They have parking help
-They let you bring your dog

Elegant restaurant setting in stunning MacArthur Place resort. Attractive room with high ceiling and two sides of glass. Outdoor seating on two levels one with gentle waterfall fountain. Very nice. Serene in the lovely backyard of resort hotel away from street. Food was great, coffee good, and service friendly and attentive.

Food was excellent and the service was wonderful! But was very, very warm on the patio outside with the overhead heaters on even though it was perfectly comfortable outside and they weren’t necessary.

We had a wonderful breakfast at Layla. The food was as close to perfection as you get along with the service. Hubby and I shared pancakes that reminded me of my grandmother's.

I ordered coffee and they served it with steamed milk on the side, such a nice touch.

The hash browns were one of the best we had, ever.

The restaurant also had a great vibe. And there are people always coming around to make sure nothing was on your table.

We were not hotel guests however we were treated as such.

I highly recommend this place and they do take reservations.

Michael made our first dinner as newlyweds incredibly special. We were sat on their beautiful patio (plenty of heaters!!) and enjoyed amazing food nearby the serene water feature. The food was not only carefully constructed, but plated with ornamental flowers from the Macarthur grounds. Chatting with Michael confirms that each staff member has been thoughtfully chosen to create a bond with guests over a shared passion for the culinary!

Very cozy atmosphere. It is cold already but we had a great time dining on the patio. Most importantly, the food is top notch. Highly recommend the duck breast.

Fabulous! We sat out on the patio for lunch. I had the Harvest Cobb Salad and my cousin had the Salmon, both were delicious. I especially enjoyed the yogurt dressing with zaatar. We had the Apple Crisp and Churros and both were spiced and very tasty.

Reasonable portions for fantastic food! The rolls melt in your mouth, the pasta was flavorful without being drenched in sauce, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would dine again!

Wow the remodel is incredible. The inside is beautiful. Great bar but the outside patio is the best in town now. Understated but so incredibly beautiful. The best part is it’s dog friendly. What a great way to spend time sipping cocktails and enjoying the view. The service is wonderful. Attentive but understated. Found the menu a bit limited for breakfast and lunch but the food is delicious

If you're looking for a quick bite to eat before a spa day in this hotel (McAurther Place), then this is the place to go! We were here for a bachelorette and decided to go to Layla for lunch.

The ambience of this place was so relaxing and made you feel "zen" as you walked straight towards the restaurant. We were seated in the outdoor area by a nice big table for the six of us to comfortably sit near each other. Since we were in Napa, it's only natural that we order a bottle of wine so we decided to get a bottle of their rosé to share and cheer to celebrate (as we talked and shed tears about our favorite thing about the bride-to-be, haha).

For appetizers, we ordered the garlic fries and patatas bravas (aka really good hash browns and sauce). As for entreé, i tried their steak frites, which tasted so amazing with the herbed butter.

Overall, i highly recommend this place not only for the food, but the ambience and look & feel of the place as well!

Our server Christy was absolutely phenomenal! Not only was she incredibly informative, but her genuine warmth and kindness truly elevated our dining experience. Christy always checked on us at the perfect moments, and her delightful personality added an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal. We give her a solid 100/10 rating – truly amazing! 🤩

Had a lovely brunch here. We sat on the patio next to the fountain, which made for a lovely setting. Mingma was our server and she was delightful, very attentive but never made us feel rushed. Excellent coffee, I love that they froth the creamer. Best fruit bowl I’ve ever had, hands down. The avocado toast with the smoked salmon was perfection. My husband loved the short rib hash. Great time, looking forward to coming again!

Dined here on Christmas night and had the heated patio all to ourselves! Our dog was welcome on the patio also. For the holiday, they offered a special holiday menu with wine pairings. The food and wine selections were excellent.

The dining room is beautiful and has a warm atmosphere. We've visited several times and have consistently been impressed with the attentive service (like using multiple bussers to deliver all the plates at once) and well informed wait staff.

The food is just wonderful, and I appreciate that the menu is not enormous - a delightful and inventive selection of great steak, fish, etc. Many of their dishes are gluten free.

The fish served tableside was enough for two to share and was a real treat. We also enjoyed the filet, soup, and various sides.

Overall a very comfortable place to have a nice date or business dinner, and one of the finest restaurants in Sonoma.
