Wow, this place is great. I don't understand the bad reviews. The food here is really some of the better Mexican in the area. I'm bringing people back here.

The is a great Mexican place, always busy & authentic. They even have a open air rotisserie on special Days. Enjoyed there food very much.

I've been here a few times now... Estaba Deliciouso!!!! Husband had the Pollo Wet Burrito and I had the Lengua Street Tacos... I grew up in Las Cruces NM so I kinda know what real Mexican food is supposed to be like...

I had a vegetarian torta and it was great! Big and super filling. They were friendly and helpful, too. Also, the inside of the restaurant looks much bigger from the inside.

I ordered two orders of they're nachos asada to go. I live very close by and so I didn't take me long to get there. I was told to wait just inside the door and they would bring my food momentarily. This unfortunately was not exactly what happened and what impressed me is how distressed the staff seemed to be that my order did not come almost immediately to me. The result was that the owner actually got involved to get me my food as quickly as he could. So, while the service was not prompt, they worked as hard as they could to make it right and I very much appreciated it. It also didn't help that it was delicious. and some of the best nachos I've ever had. More businesses should take note of their handling of customers in which they could be bad for their image. They took a negative and turned it into a positive just by how they reacted to a slow kitchen staff without saying anything to me other than sorry. Because, it was very obvious that they were sorry for the time it had taken and didn't just say it out of a sense of obligation.

I would also tell people to only pay attention to the menu pictures and not the menu listed by Google. The one that says they have chimichangas. They don't. In fact the menu listed by Google is completely wrong!

Found my new favorite taco shop. Great atmosphere, felt like I was in Mexico. Food was delicious, looked and tasted fresh. Service was excellent. Every table was taken as I was getting food to go. Can't wait to go back!

I love the margaritas, legit with no mixers! On a hot day there is not a better place in Renton to have one. Food is trully authentic. Absolutely finger licking good. English is not the primary language, don’t bother calling. Service is part of the experience, it’s family style. Relax. The place is clean and comfortable.

Tucked in the corner of a small strip mall behind a gas station. Easy to miss, deceptively sizable restaurant upon entry. Variety of salsas taste sharp, bright, smoky, and spicy. The habenero and light red salsa are both stand outs. Ordered tacos - pastor, lengua, pollo, octopus. Yup, octopus. They have the pork on a spit cooking outside, all meat varieties were delicious. Only complaint was the requirement to order 3 of the tentacle tacos when I only wanted to try one. Octopus was nicely cooked with a slight char. I would've appreciated a rough chop into easier traversal to mouth sized pieces, but all in all, hard to complain. I'll be back to try other dishes. Great service on a busy Sunday. Genuinely impressed.

Friendly staff, delicious tacos and the best hot sauces ever. There's one that's light orange, try a little of that first before you ruin your meal. I love spiciness so I smothered my tacos in it and loved every bite. Taco Tuesday means two al pastor for $2. Great deal.

My favorite place to get al pastor tacos. Super friendly staff! Restaurant is tucked into the end of the strip, so the interior of the restaurant tends to be kind of dark.

We ordered tacos el pastor to go and we will definitely be back! We recently went to Cabo and we've been searching for authentic street tacos since our return. We have found them! Our taste buds and tummies are very happy. We are definitely going to be repeat customers since discovering this little gem. Thank you Edgar and the rest of the crew!!!

Good local mexican joint. No frills, but good food. Nice salsa bar. Prices have gone up to keep up with Renton's increased costs, but still a good value.

Torta and Tacos are legit. They now have an outdoor taco stand to serve the late night masses.

First impressions count as my mother would always say. So mark impressed by this little hole in the wall. Staff was extremely friendly and patient in explaining the menu to a non-Spanish speaker like myself. Eventually opted for a tinga matchette, an absolutely delectable 9 inches of meat filled taco goodness. Planning on revisiting this place in the near future, covid-19 willing, to try some more goodies.

Amazing food. The service is a little inattentive. If you're looking for service with a smile this is probably not the place but the food does really makes up for it.
