Westside Pharmacy & Medical Supply

The staff at Westside have been such a pleasant experience after dealing with Rite Aid and CVS for the past several years. They have always gone beyond the call to deliver our prescriptions on time, every time. The store is adorable with special well displayed retail items.

Judy was so friendly and helpful. We needed to rent a wheelchair last minute and it was very easy and extremely reasonably priced. If you’re looking for wheelchair rental I would highly recommend. The inside of the store is also very clean and has lots of stuff you would expect to find in a pharmacy.

This pharmacy was the ONLY in the area to help with my son's script for diapers. Ginny is a hero not only did she facilitate the script correctly but after we moved 300 miles away she HELD his last boxes for a whole month, til my husband could pick them up. Their service is by far more than I expected, any other pharmacy would have sent or sold them. THANK YOU GUYS!!!

One of Detroit's only Black Owned Pharmacies located on on 6 Mile and Pinehurst. Personal, knowledgeable service. Delivery available. Family oriented and Owned. I will not go elsewhere. Support Detroit small business. Tell them I sent you. 😇

Parking is a nightmare (I think only a total of 4 regular parking spots), but otherwise a great independent pharmacy. Very kind and helpful.

Tuve un problema el otro dia mande a mi hermana para pasar a reocjer mi medicamentos pues resulta que no estavan listas encuanto me avian dicho q si estavan hable por telephono y la muchacha Brenda por sierto bien noble siempre es muy agents eya siempre me ayuda y me comento que occupava una nueva receta del doctor. Pues yo estava molesto porque me via dicho una muchacha y me confirmo que iva estar mi medicamento. Rapidamente Brenda hablo a la officina de mi doctor para que El doctor autorizada rapidamente pues resulto que por la ayuda de Brenda pude tener mi medicamento es una de las mejores empleadas.

I love to support local business, especially pharmacies, but I have gotten fairly poor customer service overall. I moved from Salinas and every time I come to Westside Pharmacy I wish it was Sherman’s. The only reason I’m leaving 4 stars instead of 2 is because of the young man that helped me on the morning of March 6. I wish I would have gotten his name for this review! He was so pleasant and welcoming and took care of something that had been an issue every time I went to pick up my medications. I have to go to the pharmacy at least once a month so it’s nice to see friendly faces and if the rest of the front end staff had his demeanor it would make a world of difference.
