Had a lovely tasting session, returned 6 years later and the wines were as lovely as we remembered. Looked after really well by Cam and was a pleasure to meet Richard during our tasting. Left with a couple of bottles of black pine!

Fantastic wines and a nice intimate atmosphere. Mark was amazing to chat with and Jim (his friend) kept my fiancé and I entertained throughout our visit from St. Louis. Highly recommend their wines and visiting for a tasting.

Mark was an absolute gem. Solid pours, great but concise history and background on the wines and the regions they came from, and just an all around great sommelier. Oh yeah, and the wine was delicious and the groupon comes with a complimentary bottle!

Ethan was sooo entertaining and expressive with each wine tasting, not to mention knowledgeable! With two friends today, Tuesday, we each liked diferent ones. I like both red and white wines. I loved the 2019 Big Bend Chardonnay and absolutely loved the 2015 Marioni-Roessler Proprietary Red!!! Nice set up in front and relaxing. Ethan also told us about the special this evening for the farmers market with live music!

Honestly, I'm not super in to wines yet. I've barely scratched the surface, and I often stick with fruitier whites. However, my wife is big on wine, so we went to a wine tasting here. Ethan was our host, and he was great. He walked is through the history of the establishment and of each of the following the wines we tried. He was quite knowledgable, and more than willing to chat with us and answer any questions we had. The wine was good, but he made us feel welcome and comfortable. Afterward, we were a little tipsy on wine since we hadn't had anything to eat, so he recommended a few places nearby. Overall, a great host with good wines.

We really enjoyed our time at R2 and especially Ethan! He was really passionate about the wines and had great information and stories to share. I was fortunate to find this on Groupon and we couldn’t believe our luck! So worth the drive! Wonderful wines! GREAT Pinot’s and love the byline- #SweetSpotPinot.

What a little gem in Sonoma!!! Wines are very balanced and affordable! Our tasting host....Evan I think.....was a wealth of knowledge. He'll give you the history and taste profile! A must visit for anyone!

Best tasting room in Sonoma. Just off the square with the friendliest staff. Ethan and Sean are awesome guys. Always on point with tastings and very knowledgable on the product. Price points are awesome. Black Pine club got us in the door. Club price 3 bottles for $50 every 2 months. We pick up locally, but they ship in US for $1/bottle for club members which is nuts. Staff and quality keep us coming back. Their monthly deals are crazy good. $200-$240 a case which per bottle is solid. 1331 Merlot is a rare find. Strong Pinot collection. Overall solid ownership and it shows from top down. Love this place.

Been a fan of Rogers wine for more than 10 years. Was sad when he sold to Walt but am now happy again . New tasting room looks great feels friendly, but the wine is still the thing. Keep on making these great wines JM

This was our first wine tasting experience and we loved it. Matt was very informative and we had a great time learning about the wines we tasted.

It is definitely my go-to wine! They have the best Pinot Noir! I belong to 2 of the wine clubs and every wine is top-notch!
