Very comprehensive stock of quality products. Staff always personable and helpful. Big shout out to Matt and Sierra both of whom took considerable time to help me locate a part. Both researching on their computer and cross referencing using a vague instruction booklet I produced to ensure that I ended up with the right part - which, through their outstanding customer service and diligence, I did! Kudos to Josh at Pedrotti’s Ace Hardware in Benicia, Ca. Honestly this hardware store always has great staff and service but Josh took it up a notch. Simple task of fixing a license plate of all things, not really hardware related, just needed a screw. Turns out not all screws are the same!, and it was no small task. The service here is phenomenal!! I've been here about 50 times now and I'm asked if I need help whenever I look lost and get help out to my car!! All the employees smile, are kind, and happy to help! All employees are also very educated about everything they sell. Definitely recommend over other hardware stores!

I dread going to hardware stores when I know I'll need help to get certain things. Usually it takes forever to get any help, I often encounter people who are simply overworked and could no longer care about their job, along with a very high attrition rate which directly translates to a bunch of new not-yet-fully-trained people to the store who have no idea what they are doing. This Ace store is a glaring Exception to all that, and after going there for the last five years or so I feel compelled to write this review, as that's the least I could do. I never felt the staff were unhelpful, even in the middle of a pandemic they had plenty of people eager to help their customers. Pretty much every single time I have been there someone (or often three people) asked me if they can help me with finding anything. When I was not sure exactly what size/shape of a lock would fit my application, someone from the store grabbed a few and walked with me to the parking lot so I can try them out before buying anything just so I don't have to deal with the hassle of returning it later. There are many such examples, whoever is in charge of their hiring, and customer service/satisfaction deserves a gold medal. Btw, their selection of nuts and bolts is probably the largest in the entire Solano county, and last but not the least, they have delicious cookies and pies.

I went in for a teeny tiny fuse for my Halloween Town and the staff here is just exceptional. I was greeted quickly and although she was wearing a mask I could tell she was smiling and eager to help me. They didn't have the fuse in stock, but Barbara went out if her way to look up the item and gave me a print out of exactly what I was looking for. She said she would order it for me but she'd have to order 25 so she couldn't do that, which is understandable, like I said it was a weird item. But they have a lot of items here and it's just so refreshing to go into a hardware store and get help right away!

These people are always on top of it. I have rarely walked out without getting exactly what I was looking for (even stuff that most Hardware stores wouldn't normally have). Everyone from the cashiers to the employees in the aisles are super friendly and helpful. I go here before I even think of going to Home Depot or Loews, definitely give them the first shot! Thanks for your great service and inventory!

Fantastic small hardware store. Every Ace is independently owned, but somehow they maintain a level of customer excellence I am blown away by.

Go to a HD or Lowe's and try to even find an employee to ask a question. Then hope they have any knowledge.

At Pedrotti you walk in and someone is there ready to escort you to what you are looking for EVERY TIME! I only have trouble because they just don't have the volume of items at the big boys. But for 90% of my needs they are amazing.

Also it's just a nice clean tidy store.

Got paint, plumbing parts, tools, propane, keys, stain, furniture soap, sand paper, lots of screws and nails and other hardware. My wife goes there and gets advice on color of paint and other help. Other stores are as close as Martinez or Vallejo. But no need to go out of town. Always met by a happy face and a hearty “How can I Help you?”.

Went here for some home improvement odds and ends. Barbara greeted us, led us through the store to find each item, and gave us advice when there was more than one option. Courteous, friendly, and really knows her stuff!

I am never unsatisfied when shopping at Pedrotti Ace. I can't afford to shop here for all of my projects, but the customer service is most certainly the best I have experienced. Such a well managed store!

Lives up to the ACE name. Everyone here is beyond helpful. Every time I walk in, within 5 seconds someone has greeted me and asked if I needed help finding anything. If I'm there, I know exactly what I'm after, and the employees always know the exact aisle and location of what I need. The selection is surprisingly good too. This week I needed a very specific electrical tester, and had already been skunked at Home Depot, which surprised me. ACE had it, as well as several electrical products I would not have thought they'd carry. Previously I've gotten insanely good deals on DeWalt and Stanley hand tools, so I regularly check in to see when it's time to restock on sawzall or razor blades. I'm really grateful to have such a great store nearby.

Ace is the place with the helpful hardware folks. Period. I say this bc every 5 to 6 weeks we visit from Vacaville to groom our dog. Every time we enter this Ace Hardware we are greeted and asked if we need any help. We usually like to browse but always end up buying something. Yes, there are bigger hardware stores closer to us but there's just something magical about Pedrotti Ace Hardware in Benicia.

This store is fantastic. One of the biggest Ace Hardware Stores I've ever seen. Has been around for over 100 years so they must be doing something right!

Great small-town hardware store. They always have what I need for smaller projects and most home repairs. The service is unmatched by those large box stores, you know the ones. Forget those guys. Shop here first!

Quality tools and hardware, staff is always friendly and helpful. Sure you can get some products cheaper online or another town over, but you can always count on the staff to provide input to get your project done quicker and higher quality.

Local hardware stores are the best for quick trips. It's always staffed with fridley and helpful associates. They might not have everything I need but I always prefer the smaller hardware store vs the big box ones.

I love this store, everyone is always friendly and they always know where to go when you need something found. my kinda place, I tell my colleagues to go here before they go anywhere else
