Fulcrum Wines

A group of us went here last week while on our road trip from Vancouver, and we had the best time. Brianna absolutely made us feel at home and had so much knowledge, which elevated the experience.

Fulcrum wines was our first stop and should have been our last. Nowhere else in Sonoma beat the beautiful magic of the wines we had, nor did anyone else have better customer service than Brianna. The knowledge she shared with us as well as awesome recommendations for the rest of our trip was amazing! Seriously a treat, and a must need stop when visiting Sonoma

Unexpected tasting, walked in, no appointment needed! Very good Chardonnay, not a big oaky, butter bomb. Pinots are very well balanced as well. Definitely with the stop. Anne in the tasting room was very knowledgeable and does an amazing job juggling multiple guests.

Mary was a gem! The tasting was pleasant. We enjoyed the madman and petite! Kudos to David the winemaker on creating wines with a creative mind as it isn't lost on our pallet! Don't pass up this little gem in the heart of Sonoma!

We absolutely love going to Fulcrum wines, the wine particularly the Pinots are phenomenal. We’ve loved the service from Mary we’ve gotten when we go during the week and from the older gentleman on the weekend. The service is great and the wine is so tasty. It’s located so conveniently on the Sonoma square and is open late which is perfect. I can’t wait to stop in to Fulcrum again! Our family joined the wine club and have enjoyed our membership. Paulie has been a pleasant host to our daughter who is a newcomer to the wine experience.  She was introduced to their varieties of whites and reds and Paulie was patiently acquainting her with using her senses after the pour and encouraged her to simply enjoy discovering what each wine offers.  Fulcrum is located in a quiet setting and that was a refreshing change of pace for us.  Glad we visited.

we found this great tasting room after a slightly disappointing lunch nearby - Paul immediately changed my mood - I thought the wines were really nice, especially their new foray into sparkling rose - we ended up spending a completely relaxing afternoon there

Nice time spent with Paulie today. Great personality & knowledgeable about wines & Sonoma in general. I would recommend putting Fulcrum on your list of wine tastings. Pinots were great & enjoyed the new Madman white blend as well.

Our little group of 4 ladies from Sonoma - one a grower of Chardonnay grapes and all of us very conversant with wine spent a lovely afternoon with Pauli at Fulcrum on Wednesday. It was a birthday celebration for one of our group so we shared a bottle of their lovely rose brut! Delicious. We also really liked the dry gewurtztraimer and the Pinots. Pauli geared his remarks to our level of knowledge which was much appreciated.
The tasting room is small and intimate, tastefully underdecorated. The chairs were very comfortable and we all remarked on how we would be happy to have them in our own homes.
A very nice experience with very fine wines. Highly recommended.

My friends and I came here and it was the best experience! All the wines were terrific! We left with 4 bottles (surely order more). Highly recommend the Madman white blend! It has the greatest sweet and crispy smells of any wine I've had. Pauly was a great host and could not have asked for anyone better to enjoy the day with. I asked Pauly what he recommended for a person going through a "bad day" and he said the ZSM red blend (bought 2 bottles). My bad days will turn to goods days as it will remind me of sweet Pauly. Will come through again when Pauly is working. If you are reading this David (owner), Pauly is a great example of a loyal employee and a person who loves his job.

My son and I had a very rewarding experience with Pauli and David (the owner) who exchanged a few laughs with us. Pauli listened to our wine preferences and then carefully chose a progressive series of wines from Pinot Noir to Cab Sav. We also learned a lot about the local soils, climate and the “from grape to bottle” process. Very delayed and enjoyable experience! Highly recommended!

A hidden gem, tucked away down a cute alley off the square. As a group of four, we turned up at 12pm and had David, the winemaker, all to ourselves. Despite having tasted here a few times, I always learn something new. The wines are great and really well priced. While I come for the Pinots, I also enjoy the interesting blends that he’s been trying, plus the chardy and sparkling are hard to go past!
I always recommend this place to all our visitors and they’re never disappointed.

Love the gewurztraminer! The staff was super-friendly and knowledgeable. Really comfortable atmosphere, I had a lot of fun there. Being able to sample the actual grapes for the gewurztraminer was pretty cool and yummy. I also loved how dog-friendly they were which is always a+ plus for me.

Delicious wine and fantastic service from Paulie. He is knowledgeable about the wines, Sonoma area and my boyfriend kept laughing at his jokes.

This review is long overdue. I visited Fulcrum back in November and had one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in a tasting room. The staff was knowledgeable, kind, friendly & fun. I was with a group of 5 & we did a tasting. We loved the wine and felt so comfortable that we stayed a while and enjoyed a couple bottles! We had a wonderful time. The wine was excellent and we bought several bottles to have for Thanksgiving! We’ll definitely be back any/ every time we are in the area. Thank you for treating us like family, Fulcrum. And thank you for making amazing wine!

Came to do a tasting a couple days ago and had the best time! Pauly was amazing, he went above and behind with his hospitality and jokes! He loved his job and wanted to share his love of it with us. The wine he shared was great too!
