Jidaiya

I have eaten at Jidaiya a few times when I come to Rohnert park and each time their sushi is exceptional. The staff is incredibly friendly and on time. I highly recommend eating here and if you live in the area do not pass them up! They are also affordable and got all of this for $31 after tax and tip. They even stamp the wasabi into a leaf which is a nice aesthetic touch 5⭐

Atmosphere is spot on, it's exactly what you'd expect to see for a ramen shop. Service was kind and accommodated for my taste that was a little off the menu. (I wanted a pork tonkotsu ramen) so they made a side of it for me with my chicken ramen.
The gyoza was probably one of the tastiest I've had here on the mainland.
Chicken karaage was spectacular as well.
My only wish was that the chicken ramen broth was a little more flavorful.

Never disappointed with Jidaiya. They always have great sushi and I love that they deliver! 👏🏽🔥

first time going to jidaiya with my best friend after touring sonoma state university and the atmosphere and environment was amazing! it was warm; inviting, and tranquil. the sushi was definitely worth any amount of wait time. for professional sushi chefs they were creating art and the food graciously exceeded our expectations. we were more than willing to pay and wait for art. 10/10 would highly recommend and will come back again

This place is truly a hidden gem. I never understand why it isn't packed all the time. The sushi is absolutely fantastic, the selection is excellent, and the prices are great! We go here at least once a week on average. I am SUPER picky when it comes to sushi, being from Vancouver where we had endless access to the freshest seafood. It has taken me a very long time to find a sushi place I love, and Jidaiya is it. It is also local and family run, which is a bonus. Try it... you won't be sorry!

The warm house saki was one of the best I've had. Melon and sweet rice notes. Amazing

Delicious 😋 I stopped in for late lunch and the food was amazing. The people were super friendly and I truly enjoyed the experience.

This is my new favorite Japanese restaurant. Im going back the next day for lunch. The service is amazing. The udon must have been taking them longer to make than usual because they gave us a free appetizer. I wouldn’t have noticed because the food still came fast. It has a great atmosphere and is a very nice place to sit and eat.

This place exceeded my expectations. The waiter was great, every single thing I ordered was amazing, and the atmosphere was very comfortable. This is my new favorite sushi place in the area. Can't wait to go back.

We LOVE Jidaiya! We eat here a minimum of twice a month. The food is always fresh and excellent, no matter what we try. (Even our 2 year old granddaughter loves eating here). The owners are always very personable and friendly. :-)

Soo.... Placed an order and it took a long time for delivery but it was a huge party type platter and mother's day .. I did call GrubHub after an hour delay of delivery passed and they told me the order was cancelled which I was never informed of. Anyway- the money was refunded and we moved on with other dinner plans . Then about 45 min later a knock on the door and there oour order! The restaurant has never cancelled the order-grubhub did ! And didn't tell the restaurant either. The woman delivering it was an employee of the place as she had on their uniform. She called the restaurant and explained to them what happened- I showed her the text I got after I hung up with GrubHub that showed it was cancelled. They apologized and gave us the order anyway. We will go back as soon as we can and order the same thing and leave a huge tip.

My family and I love this small family run restaurant. Whether we eat in or take out we get great service. We are sometimes difficult to provide food for at some restaurants because we have a vegan and vegetarians in the family. Jidaiya has no problem altering their food for us.

It's a lovely quiet little place with great food and service. The staff was friendly and even gave us a dish on the house because it was taking a bit for our large group to get everything situated. Will definitely go back again.

Best Sushi in Sonoma County. Even better, they deliver to Petaluma! I love their Lion King Roll. Jidaiya will even deliver you a banana split to your door.

Exquisite food, cozy and quiet place and clean which is very important.
Feel like an authentic japanese spot.
Prizes are honest.

Thay also wear face masks very respectful!

Great food I loved the lion king roll it might have a hefty price but tastes amazing. The service is nice as well.

I ordered a variety of food and had it delivered. The food was fabulous and delivery was super fast and friendly! I will definitely order from here again!

This was honestly some of the best sushi I have ever had. Will definitely eat here again!
