Carnitas El Rincón - Vallejo

This is a chain restaurant, but I was very pleased w the food and service of this location in Vallejo, Ca. My street tacos (carnitas) was hot, tender meat and delicious. The ladies behind the counter were so kind and nice.

I'm picky with my carnitas and I approve of this place and their food they serve. Carnitas and bunches are bomb, plus their chicken (weekends only) is fire. The chicken tacos is what I mainly come in for. I love the fact that they have an open salsa and toppings bar if dine in. But when you order take out, the to go salsa pricing gets a little wierd. Make sure you ask for some of their pickled habanero (if you love an extra kick) since they dont have it out at the salsa bar.

Absolutely the best carnitas! We ordered the 15lb group meal for an appreciation luncheon for our winery staff (production, cellars, winemaking, finance, and marketing). Our crew raved about the carnitas. The food was authentic and so flavorful. One thing to note when ordering. I ordered through the Door Dash Storefront link and did not know I was supposed to confirm my order with the restaurant. When I called 30 minutes prior to us picking up, they said that I hadn't confirmed but they would get the order processed and they had it ready by the time we got there to pick it up! Outstanding customer service. It is best to have a Spanish speaker call in. I also think calling the restaurant directly is a better way to order for a large pickup. This place came highly recommended from one of our employees and it did not disappoint! We loved it.

I’ve been here twice and the food is A1, I got tacos the first time and a burrito the next and they did not disappoint. Tacos where a great size and the meat has great flavor. The burrito is also bomb af, tortilla was soft, nothing was burnt, they add avocado on the super which is really good. The meat also isn’t dry but juicy and flavorful. Service is good atmosphere doesn’t really matter when the food is this good.

Split a super carnitas burrito with my boss because we’re not that hungry. This was 5 mins before closing. Thankfully they let us finish our food first before we were asked to leave. I’d say they mostly have earned the tagline “best carnitas in town”. To add to that, their salsa is pretty hot! Love it,

Ps. No free chips. Although this is preferred imo. Less food waste if you asked me.

Kind of expensive to not come with chips and salsa or anything except the burrito, but really delicious! The super burrito didn't have nearly enough veg, but still tasted really good.

As a Michoacáno who usually eats the best carnitas in Mexico, I have high standards with carnitas and these carnitas are really good, the only thing missing.. home made tortillas, but that's me. Definitely coming back. :)

Food is good but the service is too slow, the kitchen personel needs to be more faster serving orders, takes me about 50 min to get my food, when they have three gest at front of me.

Them carnitas ARE actually the best in town & this comes from a girl who lived on the San Diego border for 10+ yr eating Southern Ca and Tijuana Mexican food.

My main complaints are: 1) ya'll need to give 1 tiny container of habanero sauce and stop being greedy. Expecting us to pay for a huge container when its too hot to buy that size. It will just spoil if I get that size anyway. Just give us an option of a free tiny one..., same as all other places including Rubio's, gives us free hot sauce🙄😂 and (less important to me) 2) no seating or indoor eating/ no ambience since the pandemic began.

Best tacos I had in a while. Always going back and forth from restaurants in vallejo and found this one for lunch, El rincón was hella good pork tacos I've had in a while with some limon on and cilantro that's all them needed haha!. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED! OH AND THEY DO PARTY PACKS!.

delicious carnitas. love the fresh salsa bar. super friendly people. Very authentic mexican food. You can tell they take pride in what they cook there. Unfortunately they dont sell the fresh pork rinds anymore. Those were great. They put a lot of meat in the tacos. so much fell out while I was eating it I took another tortilla and made another taco. I will be back.

The portions of meat for the tacos are huge, the best bang for your buck in town without a doubt! Carnitas are on point and the salsa bar is always stocked. I only eat here now amongst all the taco spots in Vallejo

Go here now; the meats are perfection & ya' gotta' love the no-nonsense menu/ample portions. Excellent service each time I've gone, so they seem super consistent. Very happy to have them on the neighborhood!👍🏾

Their servings are large portions couldn't believe how much Carnitas you get on one taco. Two tacos were plenty enough for me also their burritos are very good packed with lots of flavor

Walk in, order 2 Mixed Carnitas Tacos, order a Agua fresca (the Jamaica will do you well), top your taco accordingly (onions, red salsa, green salsa, and some lime are my favorite), sit down and enjoy.

The tacos are flavorful without being too greasy. The salsa is homemade and the cilantro is diced fresh in the salsa bar. I bring friends here to show off the local food.

This is hands down the best taco place I have every been to (a excepción de la cocina de mi vecina). We live in Sacramento and have driven to Vallejo just for the tacos! I have to admit I almost cried when I went to their old location and it was closed 😢😢! So happy to see the new place, just down the road a few blocks. Happy they are doing so well. Do your tummy a favor and go here. It will and your tongue will thank you!
