This is the best home improvement store ever! The prices are fair, the sales are great and the employees know their departments! Not only do they know their departments but if you are working on a DIY project and you're looking for an item that you "think" you need, they always seem to have great ideas on how to do it the job more efficiently, cheaper and better. The guys in the plumbing and electrical departments have saved me on several occasions! That in itself puts Friedman's Sonoma at the top of my list!

Friedman's the best. I always stop and shop every time when I visit my in-laws in Sonoma.
The best garden every plants/vegetables I bought from here are very very healthy. And good prices. Employee are friendly and helpful . The check out line sometimes get a bit slow.

Friedman’s is the best! Way better than Lowe’s or Home Depot with just as good of a selection and great prices as well (and they do price match, too). Love that it’s a locally owned business focused on sustainability. It’s my first pick for home improvement needs!

Great service, friendly staff, and wide selection. I'm grateful I can pick up everything I need right here in Sonoma, saving me a drive all the way to SR or Petaluma. 👍

My mom and I went in there today and I was totally impressed! This store has everything! Great variety of plants, gardening tools, construction tools, bird feeders, pesticides, gardening attire, ultrasonic and sonic electric rodent repellents, and high quality soil and so much more! The staff is so friendly and helpful! Its a great experience to shop there at Freidmans Home Improvement in Sonoma!

I had over the top service today from Brad who assisted me with the right hardware and bulb to get a little brass lamp that I purchased in Morocco to work.

June was awesome! I almost had cool white lighted silver star tree topper with warm lights for my Christmas tree. She helped me to find those pure white lights from Petaluma branch. She literally saved my Christmas this year! Thank you so much.

Great place for building supplies, hardware, some housewares. Be sure to check out the coffee shop that's just inside the front door... Great coffee, sandwiches and baked goods, and one of the best and best deals of hamburgers in Sonoma.

I accidentally stumbled upon the hardware store and it was the best I've ever been to. The music was wonderful and the people were so nice. Orchard Supply Hardware in Napa where I live is closing and I am so happy I found one to replace it! It's worth the drive

The contractor service division gets 5 stars for being friendly, supportive, and informative. The personnel working behind the counter, in the yard, and home deliveries exemplify customer service. They have become my favorite place to get what you need for major home projects and repairs.

This store is the perfect small town home improvement box store. Customer service is always amazing here. Their selection is as good as a home depot or lowes with the feel of a neighborhood store.

I spend a lot of time at FB as my work requires it and generally I get what I need fairly quickly. Sure from time to time I suffer a disappointment but the staff always tries their best and sometimes even suggest an alternative. Not every person knows everything but hey who does ;-) reliable and good service

Nice small town family owned hardware store. This is truly a Hometown Hardware Store nothing but locals nothing but the family nothing but a small town filled with great customer service and service friendly attitude a little bit of everything that Home Depot and Lowe's couldn't possibly offer

As usual, Friedman's had what was needed for our home project. Social distancing, with masks, is rigorously supported. Prices are competitive with the big box guys, but there is a much better feeling of personal service.
