Pangloss Cellars - Open by Prior Reservation

Cannot say enough good things about Pangloss and being so graciously taken care of by Carmen from initial phone call to the hour and a half I spent in their downtown Sonoma tasting room. So personable and their hospitality was world class. I work with international clients and was truly blown away how she and Jose made me feel like I was the only person there (while obviously taking care of the other guests too!!) the quality of the wines is superb and the sparkling rose was magical. A lot of PN and Chardonnay exclusive producers up here so finding them with sparkling/whites/heavier reds was a dream come true! A+ and an easy top rate recommendation!

Lovely vegan charcuterie and cheese board! They used variety of Miyoko’s cheeses and it was so delicious, every wine bar should be taking note because they have now set the standard high - buttery green olives and even a unique grape infused mustard that surprised us.

The wine service was wonderful, well-paced, and the space is beautifully designed. Will be heading back again 👏

Wonderful place for wine tasting and they were able to accommodate our party as walk-ins. We really enjoyed the wine flight and I especially liked the syrahs they offered. The Pinot was a big favorite in our group as well. Our sever was super knowledgeable and offered us good recommendations. Tasting fee was $30/person for 5 samples.

They seemed very kid and pet friendly as well. The tasting room has plenty of open space.

Our tasting was held outside due to covid, and we felt they did a great job with the seating arrangements, presentation, and feel. The wines were vibrant and flavorful, though maybe not as complex as we would have liked. It was very nice sipping wine while looking out to the plaza and passersby!

Popped in here for an impromptu glass of wine. Our lovely server Ethan couldn’t have been more helpful in our wine selections and was perfectly attentive. Such a beautiful indoor space and also has an outdoor patio. Great cheese board, wine and ambiance - 10/10!

A nice little wine shop in Sonoma. Their wine is made at a different location but they have this tasting room for a better experience. Our server was very knowledgeable about the wines and also offered a tasting based on the feedback and she was spot on. It is "at your own pace" kind of tasting so you can save it for the end if you have a busy wine tasting day.

Carlos was so friendly & knowledgeable. He curated a perfect tasting experience for our girls weekend getaway. Highly recommend the optimist tasting!

I love to come here any time I'm in Sonoma. They have varietals that aren't as easily found along with well-made classic ones like Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. The best thing is that they are so reasonably priced compared to others in the area. The staff has always been friendly and are very knowledgeable about wine. This last time we came we enjoyed a cheese and charcuterie board. I've also experienced other wine and food pairings they've hosted and really enjoyed them. The decor is awesome and it's a really comfortable place to hang out, chat with friends, and enjoy really good wines.

We stumbled on this winery by accident but boy did we have a excellent experience.

We traveled from MD and Pangloss was the first stop on our trip. We are Pangloss club members and enjoy the variety of their wines. Christina was a fantastic host, and our family received great service including generous pours and a a tasty charcuterie and cheese plate. The tasting room is beautiful and comfortable and the wines were great as always. Highly recommended if you are in Sonoma!

What an amazing experience we had tasting the wines and the meat and cheese board. I recommend you ask for Ethan. Ethan was so knowledgeable about the wines and made our experience so much fun! We sat outside on the patio. It was such a beautiful day outside and we will be going back for sure!

We really enjoyed our experience at Pangloss! We came around midday on a very busy holiday weekend and didn’t feel cramped or rushed. Sarah did an excellent job describing the wines, suggesting pairings, and sharing interesting info on the wine maker and the tasting room. This was a great place to kick off our afternoon and I’d highly recommend it to others visiting Sonoma!

We thought the service and experience was fantastic. Very tasty! Carlos was very friendly, helpful and informative. We really enjoyed the whole experience.

*Updated Review* Gave Pangloss a second try and had the BEST experience during our whole trip. Fantastic customer service and even better wine! We ended up joining the wine club due to the exceptional value of their wines. Of 8 wineries/tasting rooms visited this one takes the cake. Cannot be missed on your trip to Sonoma/Napa. All wines and tasting rooms are good around Sonoma Plaza, but this is an epic space to have a glass of wine
