Courtyard by Marriott Petaluma Sonoma County

This is a great hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The hotel is very clean, the staff are friendly and the property has plenty of amenities. After check-in we had some food and drinks downstairs and played a few rounds of cards. The atmosphere is nice with plenty of seating. Our room was clean and had everything expected.

I noticed some of the reviews complained about homeless people on the road leading to the hotel… We too saw the same thing, but to be fair, that’s no different than almost every other west coast city now. This is not the hotel’s fault by any means and I felt perfectly comfortable with the hotel’s parking lot and areas. We had zero problems.

Kinda rough drive into property, but rooms were spotless, AC worked well during hot times. Lack of ethernet connection was a disappointment, but they're hard to find these days anyways. Staff was extremely nice! Will stay again!

I want to say that the local homeless population is a positive feature of this hotel. There isn’t a crime problem. The folks nearby are minding their own business. Imagine this wonderful opportunity for all of these privileged bubble dwellers to witness how a human being, stuck with a life they’d never conceive of living, is actually just person living nearby that is different from them.

AND the rooms are nice and clean. Wow. This hotel has everything.

What's not to love about this hotel? It's beautiful! It's modern. The design of the room is very cool.
It's true that there are a lot of homeless people near the property as other reviews have stated, but that didn't affect my visit at all. And any other negative thing I could say would be nitpicking.

The rooms are very nice. You have a refrigerator you have a microwave you can make your coffee in the morning too. They treat you very nice when you come in they welcome you in and when you leave the place too. The manager Sean is very nice and professional and the rest of the people that works there. Joe is an amazing person and so is Emma Very very nice Hotel 👍👏👌

Awesome staff, very helpful. Made it very easy and accommodating. Was simple to extend stay, literally took 1 minute to reprint the keys and that was it.. Rooms are spacious and well kept, rather new. The whole Hotel seems to be very efficient in its power consumption, i.e. you need to insert your room key in a device right inside of door for the lights to be able to be turned on, therefore making it so you never forget your key at same time as always turning everything off when you are not there... also the refrigerator has an on off switch with a extra cold setting... nice TV, comfortable bed with fresh sheets, clean carpets and walls, high ceilings so very quiet. Heater and air conditioner controlled by thermostat... All in all a great stay! The main entrance and lobby is beautiful, very unique and modern with a homey vibe and feel to it tho... Would definitely recommend

New construction! Approx. 2 years old! Pretty high tech! Great friendly staff and front desk. Always willing to working with you.

I have visited before and like it so much it is the place I prefer while in the area. Note! Great electric vehicle experience! The lobby and restaurant services are very, very nice. I highly recommend it.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel last week during our mini getaway from NYC. The hospitality was amazing. As soon as we got there we asked about local food spots and things to do. The concierge provided a print out of all the restaurants/ vineyards/ activities we could explore. Literally was the best way to start our vacation. During the stay I had issues with the tv remote a couple times and needed toilet paper to be restocked. The staff provided assistance without hesitation which was great. The fitness center met my needs to keep myself consistent on my workout regimen. The Starbucks in the hotel was heaven sent because I NEED my coffee. Overall I am completely satisfied with the service, cleanliness, and atmosphere of this hotel. I would absolutely recommend and plan on going back soon.

Very nice room with all the amenities. Has a bar in the lobby and on certain hours serves food. Had a late registration and the desk clerk was very helpful on directing us where to go for food and drink in the area. Only bad observation is that it is located by the train tracks where a lot of homeless have decided to camp out in that you have to drive by to get to the hotel.

Loved our stay here. Emma really went out of her way to welcome us on our last minute visit. We were really impressed with her, checking us in, checking on the room personally before we picked it, serving drinks to the pool, and taking our dinner orders. Wow. Her manager, Sean, calls her a "rock star" and that's how we feel too! The room was perfect. We we so comfortable and slept so well. The beds are great and the shower amazing. Breakfast was very nice also.

I adore this hotel - clean, modern, and comfy I able. we live in San Francisco and took a little escape to Petaluma for some rest in sweet petaluma, sun and a pool. I ended up extending our stay. The breakfast at the cafe was absolutely delicious avocado toast, sun dried tomatoes, arugula, and lovely pasties and warm options as well. They staff was lovely, prompt and very attentive. My girls asked to never leave. I highly recommend this hotel. We drove into downtown for dinner in the river and walked and also walked around the neighborhood to see the lovely houses. Great location, quiet, relaxing and we will be back

This is a great hotel. Very beautiful, new, and the food is super delicious! Official Starbucks drinks, yummy breakfast and dinner options. More than anything, I was very impressed with particular staff: Cheyenne. She made delicious foods for me throughout my long stay and showed the upmost care, professionalism and personal touch to everything she did! BONUS TIME, managers! She stands out and goes out of her way to accommodate guests. I have to travel multiple times per year; and I chose to stay here again, specifically because of Cheyenne's exemplary services. That level of perfection is rare, so take good care of her, folks!

Rooms are great. I love the little couch and desk areas. It's like a mini suite. Great to bring my work back to the hotel. Dining area is also great for that same ability. Lots of private space to spread out, plug in my devices, and work while eating.

I highly recommend this place!

Was here for a Sonoma raceway event, safe parking lot that’s isolated and good gym

Very clean hotel, very friendly staff, location is a little sketchy, some run down locations close by including a homeless shelter, however that being said we never once felt unsafe, and the property itself was extremely clean. Food and drinks were also very good. If I needed to stay in Petaluma again I would book this property again.

Hotel is great! Clean and NEW! Only complaint is 4 bucks for a bottle of Diet Pepsi is a bit insane. Not a resort, so why charge resort prices.

Not hotels fault, but you have to drive through a homeless camp to get to hotel. It kinda cheapens the feel of the area. But like I said, not the hotels fault, but something to know before visiting.

Great new hotel in Petaluma! Very nice lobby with a full bar and casual food offerings. The rooms are comfortable and have tons of outlets and usb charge ports. To those who've stayed in an older hotel lately, you know how great this is.

I stay here once a week and the staff is always on top of everything and taking care of everything to make my stay perfect. It is a clean and safe place to stay with a great location! If you are staying in this area it is a great place to stay. Thanks Rick

The best part of my stay, hands down, is Cheyanne who covers the lobby bar and dining. Cheyanne is kind, thoughtful, hard working and not only juggled all of the constant guests, but she remembered my preferences and went the extra mile to help make my stay special and easy. By far she is the best we have experienced with Marriott. And we stay and have a time share with Marriott. Thank you Cheyanne!!
