B&V Whiskey Bar & Grille

We are big on customer service. The server always excellent and gave us great suggestions when we asked and even made sure the salad was bigger than usual when my wife asked if it would be enough to fill her up. I had the shrimp linguini and did not leave disappointed it was excellent. Will def be back if we ever come back into town!!!

Service was awesome. Our waiter “T” couldn’t do enough for us and was very attentive. For a small bar/ restaurant, the food was excellent. The soup of the day was great and the pastas are homemade and had great flavor. I would definitely return!

Ive never ordered a second special on a menu! Chef Carlo,'s specials satiated my gastronomic proclivities beyond comprehension! Excellent service and food,,,,, great job Chef!

Had a great time with great drinks and food!!! Our waitress Michelle was awesome with a great sense of humor. We got to meet Codi, the owner who is one nice guy! Would highly recommend this establishment to anyone visiting Sonoma!!

Food was DELICIOUS! EVERYTHING we ordered was superb!! Staff is accommodating and attentive. They also have kids menus a plus for us (mom of two) will definitely recommend and be back again !!

Came over here thinking they have BBQ based on the first featured picture but they don’t have any BBQ. We ordered B & V burgers were AMAZING! The service was great and nice view of the mission church across the street. Highly recommend!!!

Atmosphere is awesome, the food was delicious and the prices were decent. Beer flight was nice as well and they have a flat screen and a protector to watch the games. They also have a full bar. Highly recommend coming here. Customer Service was on point.

So unexpected! This is an unassuming corner of the square in Sonoma. The first clue it was something special is that there were a lot of locals. We tried the burger, which was perfectly prepared. Perfectly. And the real surprise of the night was gnocchi. Not just gnocchi; probably the best gnocchi I've ever had. And I've had a LOT of gnocchi. Chef Carlo is doing something very special here.

Stopped in to watch the Thursday Night NFL game and get a bite. Tim was our bartender - and he was a ROCK STAR. The service was outstanding. At his recommendation we tried a burger and a pasta dish. They were both fantastic.

I ordered the combination ribs and biscuit and my wife ordered the burger.

Pros: the food was great and my wife enjoyed the burger. I don't care for coleslaw, however theirs was really good. The restrooms was clean and our server was nice and friendly.

Overall my visit was great.

Had a delightful brunch at the outside tables. Bacon bloody Mary's were full of flavor, perfectly spicy, and tasted even better with the Shrimp Diablo appetizer! My party brought in a bottle of Mumm to try with the truffled mushroom and cambanzola cheese appetizer (corkage $20) which was AMAZING! 🥂 The service was superb, even though they were very busy. Excited to come back again to try the Bolognese. Also, it was great ambiance to view the park and view everyone enjoying the day. Once the sun hit, didn't want to leave.

Fun informal place. I recommend the Corazon margarita. We had the calimari to start our lunch and it was crispy and light. The fried chicken BLT and pulled pork sandwiches made up our main meal and both were generous and good. If you are in Sonoma Square you should drop in and try it.

Must have the brussel sprouts. Mushroom soup amazing as well. Great casual spot with upscale tavern food. Excellent burgers and amazing tempura onion rings. Light and tasty not greasy.

AWESOME BBQ! We had the Codi burger and the pulled pork sandwich. Both were great! Prices are a little to the high side for lunch, but truly great food!!!

Best place for pastas, steaks and burgers on the Sonoma Plaza. Everyone can find something here - vegetarians, pescatarians and meat eaters alike. Chef Carlo brings his Italian heritage to the forefront at this casual bistro.

Locals flock to B&V for the unpretentious atmosphere and strong drinks. They have the best beer list on the Plaza and also offer an array of local wines. We also love it because you can find something at every price point - a fresh ahi tuna appetizer, a simple salad with delectable Caesar dressing, Carlo's mama's pasta recipes (with housemade pasta!), burgers, or fancy Tomahawk steaks that pair perfectly with a Benziger Cab.

This spot is a favorite. The food is delicious and service is outstanding! I had the house made bolognese, oh so gratifying! And the Tiramisu is yummy!
