Absolutely beautiful trail, field and park! The trail is the best part! It's so well taken care of and absolutely breathtaking beautiful! So peaceful and calm, not very many people on it. Beautiful nature to see and learn about. Mushrooms, moss, stumps, trees, etc! Easy trail to walk for all ages! Playground is outdated but fun for the kids on the way back to the car! Parking lot is huge and lots of grass for playing catch, ball or a picnic! Gets muddy though when it's rained.

Great nature walk, that's dog and kid friendly. A little bit challenging for a stroller but great for walking. It stays dry in the summer and get a little wet in the fall. The tree canopy however keeps you dry if it's raining.

My favorite place to walk my dog. It’s paradise. Quiet. Gorgeous. Advise boots if you go after rain. I like to park by the closed down pool at the front of the park, and walk the entire loop. Very easy to walk, I have a bad back and there aren’t many inclines or difficult parts. Lots of benches to take rests!
Make sure you don’t leave any personal effects in your vehicle. Sometimes there can be sketchy people hanging around watching to see who’s leaving their car for a walk. But this should be the rule no matter where you go.

McCollum Park Forest loop trail provides unique opportunity to get out into nature and have a stroll through the woods. All done without having to drive too far. The trail is located off of I-5 and 128th Street exit in Everett. And easy drive from anywhere.
There's Ample parking available at the loop trail.
Trail passer-wide and easily seen. There's good signage along the way. Most of the park has water features in the form of bogs or streams.
An additional feature of the park is the Northwest stream center. For nominal fee you can enter a private area of elevated Bridges over creeks and streams. This is an interpretive center that provides an opportunity to see water habitat at its best in a 20 acre area

Never knew this trail existed. Beautiful walk through the woods. Some spots are a bit muddy when wet but overall all a great hidden gem.

Nice small play area. Does not have a water area to play in.The pool has been closed for years. Dog friendly in the back forest area near pool&playground.Dogs must be on leash.Wooden area is bike friendly.Lap area to walk or run with or without dogs. People play baseball, soccer, lacross&cricket on the field. There is a motocross looking track for bike riding. They do have racing there although I'm not sure how to get involved with that. Park&Ride with Everett Transit and Community Transit. The bus area is being expanded right now but buses are available for rides. As of now there are two port a potties and a few picnic benches.

Love this little loop really easy trail for kiddos. Not for strollers. Lots of access to the creek perfect for kiddos to play, throw rocks and not run away! Haha
Big parking area, and the playground is fun and there are open porta-potties nearby. Definitely recommend. :)

This is a great park for exercise and waking pets. A couple of nice shady trails that let you feel like you've escaped the city. Do make noise or bring a dog when you walk the trails as there is wildlife, including in the past a bear sighting or two.
Lots of things for my happy doggo to pee on! He always enjoys sniffing around and finding new things, but gets frustrated that he can't run free to play with other people and their pets.

Honestly love this trail. Been coming here often ever since I moved close to it and still never get tired of it. I love that you can grab coffee from the Millcreek plaza and then just enjoy your walk back to your car. Great trail to be with kids and I recommend to everyone!
P.S. Remember its a trail not a hike

Just found this place last week. The old historical building was cool to see. I'm new to this side of town and spent most of my life further south, so learning the history of Snohomish is always fun for me! I liked seeing that. It was snowy so I didn't walk around, but there was a bathroom there as well. Would be nice for a dog walk or picnic. Pretty small for a baseball game or birthday, but I didn't venture out, so I could be wrong.

Good urban forest. If you want to see streams, ferns, old stumps, mossy vine maples, this is your place. Gives you a solid feel for what things were like before development. I didn’t see any really old trees, but still a good forest in terms of diversity.
I didn’t visit the nearby Northwest Stream Center since it requires a reservation during the time of Covid. Plenty of options for things to do here and I didn’t even mention the public pool (summers only).
