Ceja Vineyards Sonoma Wine Tasting Room

Wow, what a great find! We visited Ceja through Sonoma Bike Tours- and we had a fantastic time. My party is well versed in wine and well travelled- and we were impressed with our Ceja experience! The wine (especially the Chardonnay, red blend, and dessert wine) was consistently great. I highly recommend doing the wine tasting.

An awesome little winery, family owned, with a wonderful story behind it. The wine selection is great and the hosts are wonderful and knowledgeable. Social distance is respected and the servers wear masks. Outdoor venue is relaxing and comfortable.

The wines were really top notch but the best part was the gentleman describing them and how they differentiated from mass produced wines. Very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and entertaining. On our list of places to go again.

Wonderful family owned winery with fantastic Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet, blends and a truly special late harvest dessert wine. Ariel, Navek, Pedro, Delia and Amelia are such great welcoming and knowledgeable winemakers. Their wine club is also awesome.

The wines are fantastic. The best chardonnay that I've ever had. Their dessert wine is one of the best I've had in Napa in 5 years. ¡Delicioso!

We love the wines and of course, la familia! Local family and wonderful local wines and that being said by a "wine snob". I am picky and I love each of them with our favorite pairings. A beautiful winery and a must to visit!

I've been going to Homewood across the street off and on for years. I'll never do that again having been to Ceja with a friend last week. The Sonoma tasting room is only open on the weekends (including Friday), and we lucked out by getting there on a Friday. The gentleman who poured for us let us in early while making it clear that he still needed to do pre-open. He attended to us as necessary but mostly attended to his tasks — we were extremely grateful for both! The tasting fee was $20 for 5 pours, which is starting to get to Napa tasting prices, and the fee is only waived with the purchase of three bottles because of the small production size. That being said, we did go off menu based on what was open already and it was completely worth the time.

While I didn't buy anything this trip, I already am planning to take two other people to Ceja. I loved the sauvignon blanc and the dessert wines. The price per bottle is not cheap, but is very appropriately priced — completely worth the asking price. I really appreciated that the ABV in each wine is lower than many California wines, intentionally, and that our server had a cheese recommendation for every wine he poured. I can't wait to go back.
