La Petite Academy on Poplar Way

Our daughter attended La Petite at Poplar Way for over a year before she started going to school and she enjoyed every single day she spent at this academy. The management and the staff is just amazing and very understanding. Even the kids and parent encounters we used to have during drop offs, pick ups or some events were super friendly. We would highly recommend this daycare to anyone who is looking for a childcare for their young ones but do know that they have a long waitlist :)

Justine, the director, is very responsive and helpful. She always reply within 24 hours no matter when we message her.

We love Ms. Su and Ms. Kate from the infant class. They're very warm, caring, cheerful and professional. They make our son feels welcome and these days he doesn't seem to even want to go home.

The daycare is bright, clean and safe. The hours are very flexible. They also serve healthy lunch and snacks. Lastly, we love the abundance parking and the security measure taken. Overall, you can't ask for a better daycare!

We were on a 12 month waitlist but they are worth the wait.

During the tour, all of the staff were so kind and friendly. When asked questions, they answered them honestly and throughly. Many of their teachers have been there for a long time so you can tell everyone felt nice and comfortable. The staff also knew kids across different classrooms - it was nice to know they have people overseeing the children from different perspectives.

After the tour, Justine, the director, provided us with all the information needed to get on the waitlist. Throughout the waiting period, I sent many questions, all of which, Justine answered thoroughly and thoughtfully. Even though I knew I was asking a lot of questions, Justine never made me feel like I was an annoyance, and even said she understood I was being an advocate for my baby. ISN'T THAT AMAZING?!

During the first few weeks in the infant room, I was blown away with how much attention to detail the infant teachers had in learning my baby's schedule, ensuring we were up to date with all of her meals, diaper changes and naps, and letting us know any extra updates that were specific to us. After getting to know my baby, they were also proactive in some suggestions to her care (with our approval), helping us get her ready when we had doctor appointments, and managing her care when things don't always go according to plan (she doesn't take her naps, we need to pick her up sooner/later, she had a bad night, etc). We absolutely love Kate, Sue, Samia, Ya ping, Lydia, Jessika and many others, I'm sure, who make La Petite a wonderful place.

My children have been attending La Petite Academy on Poplar Way for more than 3 years. We have had a wonderful experience. The staff is responsive, engaged, and very caring of the children. The structure of educational material and playtime is great and I have seen my children flourish both socially and academically. The app and cameras in the classroom provides me frequent communication on what is going on during my child's day which lets me stay connected to my children while I am away from them. I highly recommend La Petite Academy on Poplar Way.

The staff is fantastic with my kid and they're very friendly to the parents. Everybody gets to know my child and us, even if we're not in their classroom. The staff are very communicative and responsive. The center is very spacious, they have great activities and toys for the kids, and it's clean! We've been in other daycares and have toured even more, and this is the absolute best we've encountered. And it's the best priced!

I’ve had my children at this La Petite since 2019, and it is truly wonderful! I have had experience with infant room all the way through pre-k. The development of the curriculum, from the earliest ages to pre-k made my early kindergarten entrant (September birthday) seamless, he was well prepared!

The leadership at this La petite is wonderful and amazing! The leadership, not just the room teacher knows my child and their development. The teachers have been so great, warm and caring! I don’t have any concerns about leaving my child there, if anything I recommend La petite to everyone who asks me about child care!

Justine and Jessica are great. I did have some initial trouble adjusting my daughter to the daycare however, Justine was very responsive and took care of every single concern I had, which is what mattered most to me. Overall the school is great, but I think what is most important is the teacher assigned to your child and so far I have loved the teachers here.

My kids have been attending this La Petite Academy for 6 months. Since starting with this center, my kids have been learning a lot. The emphasis on early childhood education and curriculum is setting my kids on track to be prepared for kindergarten. My kids come home everyday and tell me about how much fun they have and how much they love their teachers. While my children are in different classrooms at this center, the open floor plan allows them to see each other throughout the day, which they love. Lastly, the director is very friendly and approachable and any questions or concerns that I have had have been dealt with quickly. We are very pleased with our Lynnwood La Petite Academy experience.

I switched my daughter to this school after experiencing some frustration with the Kinder Care down the street. I have so far been very happy with this La Petite Academy. The director, Joey, is very friendly and fun, and greets us by name (he remembered my name right away).
The staff is friendly and helpful, and very willing to talk to you about any concerns. They are very flexible as to switching days (with notice) - for example, my daughter usually goes M, W, F, but there was a field trip on a Tuesday, so they said it would be no problem for her to go M, Tu, W that week instead.
I am very happy with this school, and with Joey, and would recommend it to anyone. I wish I would have started my daughter here sooner!

My 2 year old son loved going here! The staff was always great to me and my son. Joey runs the show and his attention to detail, organization and sass always made it fun to be there. My son absolutely loved his teachers, especially miss Jennifer, and I have to say she came up with the absolute BEST art projects for the kids! We left there because I changed jobs farther south but I would bring my son back in a heartbeat!

My daughter has been going to La Petite for almost 2 years and she loves it! I've had nothing but great experiences with this center. The staff is always so helpful and they show how much they care for each child. My daughter will be starting school in the fall and she is beyond ready, thanks to the LPA staff. And Joey is always so happy and friendly with us parents, he is awesome and I can tell how dedicated he is to his job! I couldn't ask for a better experience :)

I was very nervous about putting my son in daycare, but La Petite is wonderful! The teachers are all so kind and understanding and my little guy loves them.
They communicate very openly and let me know exactly what goes on for the day.
I would definitely recommend my friends and family here!

My daughter has been going to the La Petite Academy for a little over 2 years now. The staff is great and she loves going to school like a big girl everyday. They really care about each and every student. Joey the schools director is great and has a way with people where you feel competely comfortable and know your child in good hands.

Our family has been working with this La Petite Academy for the past five years. It has been a great partnership. The staff is a second family to my children. We are so appreciative of how the staff continues to demonstrate strong values in how they help our children grow individually and learn structure, academics, team dynamics, and encourage creativity.
The staff greets my children daily with open arms and does so with compassion and genuine interest. Over the years, my children have worked with many teachers, although several have made a positive, lasting impression, such as Joey, Margie, Tammy, Gerlynn, Talia, and Mary.
I recommend this La Petite; it has been a positive and meaningful experience for our children.

My son started at La Petite when he was two and went until he was 5. When he started kindergarten he stopped going. Now my daughter who is 3 started there and the teachers still remember my son and ask how he is doing and are excited to see him. My daughter is shy and the teachers here know just what to do to make it easier for her. She loves going now and can't wait to see her friends. When my son was there Joey was a teacher's helper. When we came back we were pleasantly surprised to see him running the place. He always has a smile on his face and I swear he knows every parent and child's name. This place makes it easy for me to go to work and the smiles on my kids' faces and the stories they tell me of their adventures is priceless.

Both of my school age children attend this center and enjoy coming for before and after school care. Joey the Director and his support staff always have a smile and greet my children by their first names, which makes my children excited to be come every day. The classroom staff is very warm and welcoming when they arrive and when they leave. I feel that they are in a safe and inviting environment, which makes one less worry for my day.
I would reccomend this center to friends and family that are looking for a safe and fun before and after school program for their school age child (ren).

As new parents we were terrified to leave our toddler in the care of anyone really! We ended up at LaPetite and were amazed with our experience!
We have now enrolled both of our children over the last few years. Not only do the kids love it, but they made us feel secure leaving our children their care.
They are great to work with, competent, caring and flexible. I would highly recommend this location for child care.

I really enjoy the location and staff at this LaPetite. My daughter was 3 months old when I had to return to work. We had looked at competing care centers and were very nervous about the cleanliness and the staff. Some centers were dark, dingy and had staff who looked unkempt and bitter as they walked around bossing the kids around. We were desperate to find someplace better! When we walked in to take a tour at LaPetite, we received a warm welcome from Joey, the Director. Already we knew this center was going to be different!

We toured the infant room. It was open, bright, clean and the staff held these same attributes. I cannot say I found the same quality at LaPetite's competitors. We decided on placing our daughter and she is now 7 months old.

We love the staff in the infant room. Tammy, JoJo, and Debbie seem to genuinely care about our child and make recommendations for growth, feedings and other advancements. As first time parents, this is very helpful. They hold great communication with us and ask for what they need to best support our daughter. They also listen actively and act on our requests and questions as they come up. It is an essential and excellent partnership.

I wasn't expecting this, but even in the Infant Room they do arts and crafts to engage the babies and stimulate their senses. Often times, I'll walk in to see Tammy blowing bubbles while surrounded by giggling little ones!

The Director, Joey, is upbeat, positive and personable with his staff, the children and quickly remembers parents' names. This shows a high touch I really appreciate. He is also very flexible when changes to our schedule come up and can accommodate our needs when possible.

Joey's staff across all the rooms seem happy and positive. They are often seen laughing and genuinely enjoying their time at the center while still maintaining professionalism especially when it comes to the kiddos. Personally, I think if employees look forward to coming to work, it will directly reflect in their work. Since their job is to take care of my daughter, their happiness and general contentment in their workplace is important to me.

One thing I can't deny is how excited my little girl gets when she sees the three main care takers. She smiles and wiggles around just at the sight of them. This says so much to a mom and dad! It is very important to have a child's basic needs met, but here I feel my daughter gets that special care, that personal care.

My 4 year old son started attending this school back in September and it has been a wonderful experience. He has increasingly been growing socially and academically each month. I love the staffing there and the awesome app they have that sends updates throughout the day on what your child has learned, eaten and slept. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking for child care/pre-school.

My Daughter is 4 years old and attending Pre-K here. We had previously attended a different school and just didn't feel it was the best fit. From the beginning we felt like we were super welcomed and Ms. Mary and Ms. Jessie are both outstanding and take great care of my Holly. Highly recommend!
