My wife had several pictures on her phone she wanted converted to photos. We went to the Shutterbug Camera Shop on Santa Rosa Ave yesterday, to get this done. They were very helpful and made the process very smooth. Locally owned, they have been helping people with their photographic needs since 1968. They are available for expert advice, give classes and are a source for the latest equipment.

Great shop for binoculars. I got all the help I needed to buy my first pair of binoculars. Excellent customer service 👏

Great local photo printing shop and great customer service. It's so nice to still have a print shop locally to go to! These self-service machines at drug stores and such just don't print quality. I love the staff here and the quality is superb! Thanks for still being in business!

My son really likes camera stores and shutterbug did not disappoint. He was able to try multiple used lenses with his camera and all of their used gear is in great condition. The employee was kind enough to let him hold any camera he wanted. My son bought a screen protector and an optech camera strap. Large, clean store with friendly employees.

I just dropped off several types of media to be transferred to CDs, DVDs, and also negatives for prints. My order was complicated, but Eden, Jimmy, and other staff members were very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. They worked hard to give me the best price too! I felt taken care of and I look forward to pick up day! Thanks Shutterbug team!

Much faster than I expected. I needed alot of help and I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Pictures came out very well!!!

I recently made the move to a Canon mirror-less camera. The gentlemen at shutterbug were outstanding throughout the entire initial purchase experience.

A few weeks after the initial purchase of the camera, there was an issue where the camera would shut off during a shoot and ask me to remove the battery to fix the problem. I brought it back to the store hoping they could help even though l'd be dealing with Canon's warranty at this point. It turns out that they were able to completely resolve the issue in store--no need for Canon corporate what so ever.

I cannot thank this group of professionals enough for the way they took care of me. There may be slightly lower prices online if you look, but there is no way would have gotten my issue resolved in such a satisfactory manner--and quickly--had I purchased from B and H or Amazon.

I was previously of the opinion that retail stores are dead and that Amazon will run the world, but not as far as Shutterbug is concerned.

Much more than I imagined. More equipment, more services, more staff working on more aspects of more photography categories than I'd imagined. I got more cash than I expected for the equipment I sold to them. Staff was very knowledgeable, and professional. Good experience all around.
If you're ever trying to sell photography equipment, DON'T go to the pawn shop, go to Shutterbug.

Rented a camera there, a Nikon Z5, and loved the experience! If you are a photographer looking to try out a new camera or an amateur just looking to take some good shots rather than using your cell phone, this is a great place to go! Knowledgeable staff and great pricing/terms on rentals!

everyone who works here is helpful, nice & and knowledgeable. great place all around & one of the few who still does the majority of in-house film developing. very much recommended.

As a camera beginner, I came in with a list of questions in regards to what I needed in a camera. Within minutes, Mike was able to identify a great camera for me. He listened to every question and answered them all! I was sincerely impressed with the information he gave and with his patience with a beginner. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to Shutterbug for follow up questions or additional equipment.

There were no pushy sales techniques or attempts to upsell me with items I didn’t need. He gave me all of the information I needed so I absolutely purchased my camera through him. I settled on a new Canon Mark II with a great warranty. I wasn’t the only happy customer in the store, it was easy tell they have a loyal following for good reason. 10/10 recommend.

If you like Digital Photography then this is the store to check out for this area. The prices are standard. Don't expect door buster big box online pricing but expect them to have the stuff you need in stock. Check their used gear. Every once and a while they have some good used stuff but it will go fast so check often. The staff is flat out the best. Honest. They don't seem to have a big push to make a sale. They are there if you need them and leave you alone if you just want to browse. The printing service is better than what you will find at places like Target or Walgreens. The prints have a better range of color and detail. They are a little more limited if you are looking for printing panorama photos. If you are looking for gear, I would suggest this shop over any big box store. You may pay a little more but you wont have to deal with Best Buy style sales staff and if you have problem they will make it right.

I love the Shutterbug Camera Shop in Santa Rosa. The staff is always very friendly and incredibly helpful. I always have my photos processed here with excellent results. I also just noticed there are some amazing deals to go along with purchasing a new camera. It’s an excellent way to get to know your camera, equipment, and practice using it all.

This is one of the best stores I have ever shopped in, and not just for cameras. Staff is very helpful and patient. They really want you to love taking pictures. I am already planning my next visit for a new lens.

Great customer service and very friendly. Frances helped me fix my camera and he even helped me learn some new features as well that I did not know about. I would recommend :)

I shoot film - and absolutely love these guys! I can get negatives, prints & a CD of photos ready in 2-4 days. For a GREAT price. Sad to lose the Petaluma location, but I will be making the drive to SR for my monthly drop offs :) I don't know anywhere else that offers this service locally anymore.

Full service camera store. They have almost everything and their staff really knows their stuff. How they survive in today's market I do not know, but I recommend patronizing them, if only to help them stay in business for that one time when you REALLY need them. Prices are competitive.
