I am so happy that I chose Steve Curley for my new roof. His team was very professional and knowledgeable. They had corrected temporarily an ongoing leak that had been a long-time problem. The leak was fixed during our winter storms, and the new roof installed the end of February. Communication with Steve was great. I heartily recommend him. His crew was knowledgeable and I was impressed with how they managed to do all that work and leave everything cleaned up!

I was in the process of going solar when I decided that it would be a good idea to put on a new roof before installing solar panels that would likely outlive my current roof. I called around and Stephen was able to put on a new roof for me within two weeks, which felt like a miracle! His staff and crew were wonderful to work with and they did a great job! Stephen kept in touch with me throughout the process, and I really appreciated his personal attention to detail and communication.

I can't say enough about Stephen Curley Roofing. I had 3 contractors come out to look at my aging roof, only wanting repairs to get me through the winter for another couple of years before replacing my roof entirely. The first estimate was fair, the second estimate was high, and the third contractor (not local to Sonoma County) unbelievably removed shingles and exposed my framing in order to make my job look worse in his photos than it truly was. (I was able to confirm this by (#1) the insane amount of noise he made, and (#2) comparing his photos to those of the first contractor.) After this completely unethical visit by the last contractor I found Stephen Curley. He is one of the few guys out there who does repairs because 'it's the right thing to do.' Need I say more. He had 2 guys on my roof within days, ahead of a rain storm, to take care of the broken ridge shingles, cracked vent caulk, and exposed framing. At a fraction of what the formal bids quoted I can tell you he is a man of integrity and the person I will use when I replace my roof in 2 years time. Thank you Stephen Curley!

Stephen Curly took time out of his busy schedule to give me advise about my roof that another roofer had completed. He is knowledgeable and understand what his customers need. The next time I get a roof done, it will absolutely be from Stephen.

We had a tar and gravel roof over the house and carport. The carport was always leaking and it was getting expensive to keep patching it as only one roofing co would come out and they were not cheap. After talking with Stephen Curley at length about his TPO roof, we decided to go ahead. I have to say, it was one of the best decisions we ever made. Stephen and his crew were amazing, like a well-oiled machine they arrived, set-up, got the work done, and cleaned up before they left. At one point I had about 10 guys on the roof. They have been doing this for many years and it shows. I love my new white TPO roof that will NEVER leak. It makes the house look so much nicer and an added benefit: the house is warmer! Stephen was great to work with and I highly recommend this company.
Update 5/10/21: After a few very warm days, we are noticing that our house stays cool well into the afternoon due to the insulation in the roof. Now we love our new roof even more.

Steve and team were absolutely amazing! Extreme attention to all the details of a quality roof. The team was very responsive, they kept the area around my home clean and safe during their work. Plus there's something to be said when the owner of the business comes on-site to meet with the homeowner as the job progressed. Our conversations yielded some additional ideas that were both functional (Vent placements etc.) and esthetic (Color availability for the rain gutters). We had a couple of places where some plywood on the roof needed replacement, and Steve was able to do this an an economical manner. The Stephen Curley Roofing team did a great job replacing my elderly mother's roof. They were respectful to my mother and to her neighbors as they brought equipment in and out of the project. Stephen and Cliff were very patient with our questions and the changes that needed to be done with the roof venting and the installing the supports for solar pool heater panels. They did a nice job keeping the project site clean and safe. The team worked hard and the roof looks beautiful.

This review follows a stormy, wet winter that came after the work done on my house by Stephen Curley Roofing, Inc.

There's nothing better to be woken up by a rainstorm and just rolling over and going back to sleep knowing that the roof is secure.

My experience with Stephen Curley Roofing, Inc. was a positive one.  After first contacting them about the work I needed to be done, an estimator came shortly after (and at the allotted time!).
I received a bid shortly after.   The bid price was reasonable and the scheduled date fit my needs.  Considering a handful of quotes, I settled on them.

The workflow and expenses were clearly outlined and the work to be performed was well defined.  Knowing that I was anxious to get the work done, they used a gap in their schedule to expedite my roof, which was much appreciated.

The work was accomplished quickly and very professionally.  The roof looks great and the work area was left in a clean state.

Their attention to detail was high.  The crew that had done the roof many years before failed to adequately vent the attic resulting in a super-heated attic space.  That led to warm temperatures in the house and garage as the attic heated up.  Stephen Curley Roofing's team identified this and installed appropriate venting.  The temperature in the house and garage are way more moderate.  Nice bonus!

Perhaps the best recommendation for a company is if you recommend them to someone else.  My neighbors were also on the market for a roof and I could recommend Stephen Curley Roofing without hesitation.  They wound up working with them, too.  They had a similar high-quality experience.

He put a difficult insulated shake roof on our home over 10 years ago and he is the first person we called to reroof our shed just recently. Got our leaky and long overdue tar and gravel roof converted to a brand new TPO. From start to finish communication was flawless and very helpful. Stephen managed to get us in, since we had a solar install waiting for the roof to be finished and the recent rains delayed everything. Very fair quote and billing for " extra work" dry rot etc. We are very happy with the work been done and can fully recommend Stephen Curley roofing !

We were LONG overdue and delayed longer than we most likely should have but we finally picked a roofing contractor based on personal recommendations from friends and signed the contract with Stephen's company. From day 1 when we started discussion I just knew he was someone we wanted to do business with. Incredibly friendly, informative, honest, and responsive. All great qualities for someone you want to do business with! He was honest when there was price increases on materials and did what he could to navigate those changes from initial quote.

It took us a while from initial conversation to action finally happening due to Covid, our dining timeline and finally their timeline of availability but it was worth the wait.

The crew came this week for a 3 day job and while they technically took all 3 days most of the work was done in 2. The last day was final touch ups. The crew worked quickly, efficiently, and were great at attention to detail as far as cleaning up and keeping it clean while working and before they left each day. Everyone was respectful and kind that came on our property.

I've never been in a house with a roof being installed - it's loud!!! Lol, if you have pets and can relocate them it might not be a bad idea. It was a little stressful for our zoo but everyone got over it.

The roof looks SO good, reasonable pricing, they helped us out with some extra time and material needs relating to dry rot and venting to complete the job.

Overall, we are super happy with the whole experience! We would definitely recommend to anyone in the market for a roofing contractor.
