Tambark is a great park to work the dogs. There is a lot of variety from wooded trails to pave paths; a dog park and playground; a sports field with a one-way walking path; open field areas, bleachers, covered picnic benches and benches to sit on along the trails.

This is a great community park, very big. It has turf fields, dual soccer and baseball fields. It has walking trails and an asphalt path around the fields. There is a good sized dog park. Also, it's got a modern playground on the west entrance. It has always been a great place for a weekend walk. It's cool watching the gentleman playing cricket on Saturday mornings!

Always a very nice park to go to. It has a place for everyone. My dog enjoys the off leash area and it would be a great place to get your dog socializing. I also have taken kids I've babysat here and they really enjoyed the playground. Then there's the huge field which allows several different things to go on at once and you always have space for whatever game you're playing. The trails are nice to walk through and there are plenty of picnic tables for the family to use. Pretty much anything and everything a park could have.

Woodsy walk far from the sound of traffic on a sunny day. Safety and children's areas
Dog park for large dogs who love to roam free.

Got out to Tambark Creek Park with the always-fun volunteers at Pik-e.com to cleanup some park litter. This park, in a nice quiet area, was already really nice, but we picked up few things here and there to make it a little better, and enjoyed the wonderful weather and scenery while we were at it.

Great play area designed for 2 to 5 year olds. Clean. Pair of restrooms. Walking trail and ballfields, although we didnt explore those this trip. Our focus was the fenced and gated play area for young children.

Padded turf, two playground units (one for 2-5 year olds and one for 5+, with two toddler swings and two child swings.

No slide, but other fun climbing equipment instead. The small fenced area has two benches (one was in the shade).

Outside the fences area are a set of 3 picnic tables all close together under a canopy connected to the structure that houses the two bathrooms. The bathrooms gave changing tables, metal toilet, and sink.

A few parking spots were shaded. No trash cans, but instead a dumpster in the parking area.

Lots of space, wide paved paths, an off leash dog park, a playground, and athletics area. Wheelchair friendly.

From 35th Street, this looks like only a parking lot and a dumpster in front of children's play area, but go deep into the woods and you feel far away from traffic sounds on 35th and well maintained trails cross over wetland bridges in the woods and see wildlife and hear only the sound of birds.

Great spot with a nice trail that crosses over the creek a couple of times. The off leash area is dirt, with plenty of space for zooms. Not too many people seem to make it there during the week, so you might end up waiting a while to see other dogs.

This is a great park! They have a completely fenced playground that is great for small kids. I go there regularly with my 2 yr old. But there are structures for larger kids as well and I've seen kids of all ages there having fun. The little walking trails are fun and well groomed. This park has an off leash dark park as well as some fenced soccer fields with astroturf. All around a great park with a little something for everyone.

A park for everyone. There are quiet paths to take, a dog park with an unleash area, childrens play area for 1-8 year olds, and a huge field where there are practise games held each day/week.

In the summer time I often come with my family to play around and run around. After we take a walk through the nature and also see a lot of dogs. It has a very big area for dogs to run around. It is one of the best small parks and it has a lot of beautiful nature that makes me want to keep coming again and again.

I took my 5lb Yorkie mix to the dog park and was amazing how friendly and well behaved every other dog was at the park. Even after a pretty big rain it wasn't a muddy pit. Sand is mixed in with the terrain so it made the area walkable and didn't leave my dog a mess after he finished playing. Also very impressed by how clean it was kept, people picked up after their pets the entire time I was there and disposed of the bags even though the trashcan for the pet waste was across the park practically. A little bummed that the restrooms are closed for the winter yet they have a single portapotty open.
