La Petite Academy of Mill Creek

La petite has been nothing but great for us and little one! We started our little March 2023 in their toddler classroom, and as it was his first experience at day care, even though the first few weeks were rough, but the teachers have been really affectionate, loving, accepting and made sure our lil ones feels comfortable and loved throughout the day! And now he is thriving and learning so much in the areas of fine motor skill, pincer grip, communication skills, social emotional skills etc! The teachers are really great at maintaining the class cleanliness and keep surfaces sanitized ! Our lil one now looks forward to go to school, and is happy through out the day! He is starting to use multiple words to communicate that teachers encourage kids in their daily activities! The food menu has good variety of vegetarian options, and kids are encouraged to eat by themselves, use sign language, which we like a lot!
We have noticed a slight chaos during the pickup times as kids transition to different classroom based on teachers availability! But the management and the school app notifies parents about their kids transition, so it dint feel like a big negative. The live feed has been really helpful in the initial phase, I love getting updates and being able to check in on him with the live feed.
In all we have been completely satisfied with our experience with La Petite.

My son has been in the infant room for a few months and our experience has been fantastic. Staff is kind, cleanly, and understanding. Facility is secure and clean. I love getting updates and being able to check in on him with the live feed.

I have been going to this location for the last couple years!!! I have been extremely happy with the staff. The director and assistant director rock. They will listen to your concerns and take care of business quickly. My school age child and toddler love going there and never have anything bad to say about the staff. The staff also always make sure that they communicate with the parents on what is going on with the children!!! It is also great to see pics of all the kids around the classrooms!!! This location is safe and nurturing for my precious children!!

My two kids have been going there for 3 years now and I just had a baby in February and he's been going there since April. My baby has a hard time with the bottle and they let me know that they have open door so I'm able to go there every few hours on my breaks and nurse him and they never made me feel like it's an inconvenient they're glad that I'm able to go there and take care of the baby . Best place to go staff is really friendly they truly care about my kids very communicative. The hardest thing to do is leave your kids so that you can go to work and try to survive and take care of the household and I truly trust this Center with the most important thing in my life my children. One thing about daycares is you wonder if teacher truly cares for your kids or its just a job to them. But at this location every teacher connects with your kids. They all greet you when you come thru the door and they do amazing crafts with the kids. My daughter doesn't complain of going to school she just gets really excited on what new things she will learn that day. Plus the new director has clean a lot of things up since the last director left (thank goodness).

My son has been going to Lapetite Mill creek for a little over a year now, he absolutely loves it there and loves the teachers. He was 5 when I went back to work full time so he had never been away from me and was not ready to start kindergarten yet so I started him in their pre-k program full time, the first few weeks were rough but all of the teachers were so great with him and comforted him and made him feel safe. Now some days I go to pick him up and he doesn't want to leave! He absolutely loves the teachers and administrators there!! I feel great knowing he's in great hands away from me.

We began foster parenting our 6 year old grandson last fall, and have him enrolled in the Mukilteo location. We feel we have been blessed by all of the staff, I look at them all as angels, helping us raise this child that came to us so damaged by his former environment, guiding him, with his many issues, to become a well adjusted, happy child. The teachers are quality people and truly care about each child as an individual, I see how his socialization has improved 100% since he began their before/after school program and can't ever see changing his daycare. We have open communication on the good and the bad days, and thankfully, bad days are less lately. I feel he is in safe hands, always, when he is there. Our grandson now displays kindness & now enjoys his time before and after school, and they even help with his homework. A class act.

La Petite Mill Creek is the best daycare facility I have had my children attend. The children have a well-rounded balance of education and play. The teachers
go above and beyond for their students. As a parent I appreciate updates and photographs on the mobile app, as it allows me to participate in my child's care and not miss out on important milestones.

My children have been coming to the La Petite Academy at Mill Creek for over 10 years. I would not leave my children here if I didn't trust them with their lives. The staff here are very friendly and treat my children with respect. They are willing to work with parents with any issue that might arise.The staff here are ingaged with the children and actually cares how the child is doing. They keep the kids busy, they are not sitting in front of TVs or playing video games like I have seen at other daycares throughout the Mill Creek/Bothell area. The center follows a curriculum that is geared to each age group. My youngest walked into Kindergarden ready and capable. Continuing education is always occuring, keeping their certificates up to date. Safety is one of their top concerns; not just safety for the staff but for the safety for the kids and parents. I have recommended this center to many parents and will continue to.

Amazing teachers and director! My kids have been here for 2 years. Can't even compare to other centers as this team is so far above what we have experienced and seen at other centers. You will love them.

My son ..was on la petite for very long time.
Unfortunately ..he is not there anymore .
But we miss this place so much.is very great to have that experience after 5 years of his life! Thank you for all the hard work!! And great education!!

Absolutely love this place and my daughter enjoys every day. She's been going for almost a year now and we've never had any complaints.

Everything has been great at this La Petit. The teachers are nice and our son is simulated there.

We started September 2022 and the director at this time was horrible. I contemplated switching daycares everyday. Staff was constantly calling out to where they would have to close classes and I was unable to go to work. Since Mr. Joey the new director took over things have made an incredible turn around! I have not thought about switching since he joined the team. They are back to creating lesson plans, having themed days, the staff seems so much happier in general, he is always creating different ways to improve the school, even smaller aesthetic improvements to the classroom. My toddler loved our La petite in Wisconsin, then when we got here he no longer enjoyed going to this school, now he loves it again now that Mr. Joey is here. He comes home learning new things every day, they’ve been doing such a good job with helping potty train him! The reason for my 4 stars not 5 is the headache we had in the beginning, and we have a more strict parenting style and our toddler respects us, it seems the teachers are required to be more gentle with correction and my toddler doesn’t respond well to this and likes to rebel against them.

The new management is very passionate about helping families and has brought a new vibe to La Petite. Most of the teachers are really dedicated to child development and are interested in creating a positive learning environment. Ms. Linda in preschool and Mr. Marcus are fantastic.
