It's a very nice park with lots of parking, small easy beach, lots of shade, lots of benches. Is it significantly different, or can you do something special there you can't do at every other beach and park in the San Diego area? Not really. It's sort of hard to not give 5 stars to every park in San Diego; they tend to be all pretty gorgeous.

I love the shops and financial options (I'm a client of BOTH banks!). The fast-food places are favorites and we've even shopped at the suit-outlet there.

My biggest complaints are the traffic flow and speed-bumps. The "trail" thru the businesses seems like an afterthought to how they were laid-out. And the speed-bumps? There are so many of them that we're all convinced that whoever owns "Rose Crossing" has a brother-in-law in the speed-bump installation business who was owed a favor. No other shopping center in the area can match this place for speed-bumps/mile.

I love this area because I can find my favorite things that I enjoy...
My favorite Coffee bean, a few tacos from Del Taco, or my favorite Chick-Fil-A.

What can I say, it's Oxnards Hollywood and Vine intersection. I trie to avoid it unless I need problems with traffic.
