I love this place! Salzer's rocks! I look forward to spending my $$ there. You can tell that I love it, too, by the # of pics that I took. Great place to pick up cool gifts for friends and family.

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!! 1 of the coolest stores I have ever been too!! So much to look at and an awesome sticker collection. Definitely coming here again. Only problem is I’m not sure who decided to put the “Adult” section next to the gifts and TOY’S!! Not like I’m complaining tho lol.

The place was very clean and there's all kinds of cool stuff to buy and look around just weird stuff and albums and all kinds of good stuff need to check out and the staff was great must go especially from music

You can see it like a beacon of hope from the freeway...and yes, it is still worth the trip.

Salzers is one of the last record stores still surviving in the California scene today, and that's a good thing. Much in the spirit of Rasputin and Tower records long before, it sells a dazzling array of items. More than just merely vinyl records or compact discs, they sell shirts, odds and ends, jewelry, and knick knacks that can justify any birthday gift or housewarming present for those who enjoy a little more substance and style to their decor. Also, Salzers is the hub of the local music community in Ventura. Local talent can prop up their flyers and try to rustle up a frenzy for their next show. What cab I say. I love a good record store, and Salzers is one of the best the best. Be sure to get a good pair of cheap sunglasses before you leave.

One of my favorite record stores to visit when I am in the area. I make it down to Salzer's about 2-3 times a year when we are in Santa Barbara visiting family. I will take a side trip into Ventura and always find great records when I come to Salzer's. Prices are amongst the best I've seen for used records. I always leave with a stack of albums.

First time buyer from across the country. Great price, super fast shipping & packed super well. What more could one ask for? Will def look here for future vinyl purchases.

Classic Ventura institution that never goes out of style. The only retail establishment I can say I've been shopping at for yearly 40 years.

This place was recommended to us by a friend who lived in the area many years ago. Despite not having visited this store in decades, she recommended we go since we are vinyl enthusiasts. This is, hands down, the coolest store. They have a great selection of records and books, as well as a wide variety of other fun stuff (lots of Archie McPhee items, which was great to see since we hail from the Pacific Northwest where they are made). The head shop upstairs has some amazing glassware as well and the gal working that area on that particular day gave us a history lesson on the store. If you're in Ventura, you've got to go to this place. You won't be disappointed.
