American Drain Company

We bought a new home in Simi Valley, and we needed a full drain replacement. I liked how Tim responded over the phone right away, while other companies they were pretty hard to get a hold of. After talking, we were able to have him come over to the house to take a look, before he left he gave us an estimate that was right within our budget. When we started working, whatever concerns I had, he had got it addressed right away. The job needed a whole pipe bursting drain replacement. Tim’s crew were hard at work from start to finish. They are on top of my list of plumbers to recommend.

Tim and his crew at American Drain were amazing. Completely professional, honest and total rock stars. We had a serious sewer issue, that a previous company has screwed us on, and Tim came out immediately, explained and showed us the problem, gave us a fair price and completed the job in 1 1/2 days, which included digging up quite a bit of the yard. When they were done, it was like they were never there. They left our property in better condition than when they arrived. I've been a home owner for 30 years and would never use another company other than American Drain.

All the guys at American Drain were a DREAM to work with! We needed to replace old pipes running in the slab underneath our house and got quotes from almost a dozen different plumbing companies. From the beginning, Tim (the owner) from American Drain was the most responsive. He was always quick to take our calls, very patient in answering our questions, and extremely knowledgeable.

After considering all the options, we ultimately decided to re-route the sewer line from under our house around to the side of the house and are so glad we went with American Drain. It was a big project, but Tim, Alex (the foreman), and their crew did an AMAZING job. They were great to work with for many reasons:

First, unlike a lot of the companies we spoke to, American Drain didn't just do the plumbing, but were able to repair drywall, patched up cement, fixed the brickwork they had to take out, etc. Truly a full service company.

Second, the crew was able to pivot and address issues as they arose. For instance, they found out on day one that the job was much tougher than anticipated as our house apparently sits on solid bedrock rather than dirt (which made it very difficult to dig the very long trench they had to dig), but they found a way to make it work without complaint. You can see how much rock they had to break up and dig out in the pictures!

Third, we love the initiative they took. For example, we had asked them to pour cement in a certain portion of our driveway after they installed the sewer line, knowing it wouldn't match and figuring we would get the entire area redone down the road one day. Before pouring the cement, Alex suggested carrying over the brickwork we had in other portions of the yard instead, even though it was much more labor intensive for his team to lay the bricks in a lattice pattern then it would have been for them to simply pour the cement (which they were already doing in other portions of the yard). We went with his suggestion and loved the way it turned out.

We had hesitated in hiring American Drain because their quote seemed too reasonable, especially given all the repairs they were going to make after installing the sewer line. However, they far and away exceeded our expectations. We wish we could hire them for everything we need done around the house!

I am usually quite skeptical when I see only 5 star reviews on a business but I'll be damned if they didn't prove why. Not only did they respond quickly to the original call but also found the root cause of my issue rather than just fixing the symptom I originally called about. It was a large job but they got the right people out and on it the very next day. It was a multi-day job but they made sure that I would still be able to use water after they were gone for the day by setting up some temporary piping. The job also required them to go through a brick walkway which they also repaired afterward to look just like it did before. These are definitely going to be my go-to guys for any plumbing needs.

Out of all the repairs we’ve done to our house in the past year, I can say that American Drain Company was the easiest to work with because they communicate to you step by step what’s going to happen which, Tim’s team executes. We did have issues with our drains because a lot of debris and tree roots were clogging it up, which is why we called them. They also dug up the cement for us, all in all the job took 2 days! They are also a great clean up crew, always left it clean whenever they were done for the day

Tim addressed my issue immediately, which was a backyard drain pipe. This job was tough but he was patient and determined to fix it. It is very difficult to find honest people that you can trust....Tim and his crew are both! He explained what he was going to do, then went right to work! He earned my business and any future business I may need. Definitely on my top list of home services to recommend!

Tim and his crew are fantastic. We called them for hydrojetting and camera inspection after the recent hurricane hit LA and our backyard flooded. He diagnosed a much larger issue of damage and clogging due to roots, and walked me through the whole process of what needed to be repaired. They fixed the whole issue in no time. I could not be happier with their work. Precise, professional, and swift.

I was referred to Tim a few years ago and has been my go to plumber ever since. Been a pleasure working with them! Tim and his team are responsive and very knowledgeable. I have an older home that has had a lot of problems over the years and the crew has always taken care of them right away. Whether it’s been my sewer acting up, needing hydrojetting services or needing to descale the old cast iron they have always been efficient.

We've had major issues with our landscape drains since we moved in a couple of years ago. I've had a couple other local plumbing outfits to work on plumbing and landscape drain issues, both of which were overpriced did mediocre work. Tim came out to clean the drain, ran the camera (without having to ask), and used his finder tool to determine the exact locations and lengths of two breaks in pipes. He was on time, easy to deal with, his quote was very reasonable, and his team had a pretty big job done right in two days. A big thank you to Tim for a job well done.

Tim came out initially to work on our sewer line which was clogged and also needed to install a new clean out. While he was inspecting the rest of the system he found some more damaged area, I asked him to just replace it all. He kept the same time frame for the completion of the job even though I added more work. I was really impressed with Tim and his crew. I highly recommend Tim and American Drain Company.

I just had most of my external drainage system replaced by Tim and his excellent team of workers and am highly satisfied. Just about every pipe was found to be crushed, split and/or packed with roots and completely blocked. I chose this company based on the many rave reviews on Nextdoor and Yelp and I'm glad I did. Tim, the owner, came over almost immediately when I first called and tried to put a video camera into the pipes but it wouldn't go through. His diagnosis was, indeed, correct: pipes stuffed like a cigar with roots! His team of workers came each day on time and worked hard digging up everything and replacing it all back like it never happened. It took almost two weeks and wasn't, needless to say cheap, but considering all the work and time it took, his pricing was quite fair. American Drain Company is a local, family run business which is well worth a call if you need any drain system work.

Tim and his whole crew are incredible and extremely professional. I had a leak under the house in the concrete and he and his team were prompt to locate, fix, and repair everything. 10/10 service and will be using their services again for some backyard drains.

I had a main line clog or blockage. Tim answered quickly heard me out and told me someone would be able to meet me later in the day to take a look. They walked me thru the process and told me my options. Now my shower and toilet water is going down and I am so grateful. His communication throughout the whole project is on point. Awesome company!! Can’t say enough great things about Tim and American Drain. We had some severe blockages in our outdoor drains and Tim came out right away to help. He cleared out the blockages in the front leading to the street and then also came to the back and made sure all our backyard drains were cleared in time for the rains. Thanks Tim! I've had Tim and his crew do everything from clear a clogged drain to a full reroute of my sewer line around the perimeter of my house. He's always responsive to calls/texts, and shows up on time and is honest about what needs to be done while offering competitive rates.

It all started with a plugged kitchen sink. The first plumbing company started out by replacing the tee in the wall, going to the kitchen sink. That didn't work so they did a Hydrojet and found dirt in the pipe. So they cut into the pipe and found the hole in the 90 degree elbow. They proceeded to make it worse by breaking the existing pipe under my kitchen. I realized they were incompetent and fired them. After getting quotes from 5 other plumbing contractors, I found American Drain Company. Tim came out and did a camera inspection and made sure I understood everything. His solution made the most sense to me, I'm no plumber but I am am engineer and understand the basics. The next day a 3 man crew showed up at 8:00am sharp and got to work. Alex, the foreman was very impressive. Not only did he explain everything and answer every question, it was clear that he cared a great deal about doing the job the best possible way. His integrity was clearly demonstrated time and time again as he kept me informed on every step. I asked him to please also check the main line under the house as our house is 62 years old with iron pipes so while we had the front patio dug up I wanted a full inspection. He had me watch the camera inspection and pointed out pretty severe build-up in the pipe that caused stagnant water pools. This was clearly not good. There was also one hole in the side. Tim came by and discussed the options and I agreed to have a fiberglass lining installed. We had one installed by another contractor several years ago on our main sever (clay) line so I was familiar with the process. Another crew showed up and ran a descaler through the pipe to clean out all the buildup so that the fiberglass liner would be properly installed. After they descaled the line they showed me a camera inspection and the pipe looked so clean, it was amazing. Next the liner crew showed up and did yet another camera inspection to verify that the pipe was properly prepared and ready for the liner. They also had to measure the exact length for the liner. After verifying everything they prepared the liner. Fiberglass resin impregnated liner... they have to move fast and get it right. They installed the liner and ran yet another camera to make sure it was fully installed and did not block the "Y" connection 27' down the pipe where it splits off to two bathrooms. Then they installed the inflatable balloon and and charged the line. This presses the new liner against the old pipe until it cures, about 90 mins. After it was cured, they ran the camera again and I saw a beautiful like new pipe! After this it was time to add the dirt back. They took care to compact the dirt with an electric compactor and a manual compactor. They really took their time to do it right. After this they reinstalled my paver patio. Alex and Carlos took a lot of time to match up the pavers with pictures I had taken. They got the puzzle back together and I am so thankful for their effort to make it look right (see pics). I can't say enough about this company. Their integrity, honesty, and dedication to excellent customer service is beyond compare. I will recommend them to anyone who asks me. This was a pretty big job and we could not be happier with the results. My personal thanks to Tim, Alex, Carlos, Brian, and the others at American Drain Co. who put our home back together and were such a pleasure to work with. May God bless your company.

Tim the owner and Alex and his crew did a magnificent job on rerouting my kitchen line and adding a clean out in front of my yard. Unfortunately, Tim discovered my sewer line needed to be replaced as well. He showed me with his camera how bad it was. It was almost completely blocked, broken at some instances and saw root intrusions. That was why my toilets where not flushing right. Although it ended up costing much more than we expected with the original job of rerouting the kitchen line, we were glad we did it with this company. I originally contacted the plumbing company we usually goto, but we did not like how they would have done the job. They would not have done trenchless pipes. Instead would have to break my driveway to lay the pipes and break though my bathroom floors to install the new sewer line. Alex the foreman, and his crew went the extra mile and dug at least a 5-6-foot hole and tunnel 7 feet under my concrete foundation to get to both of my bathrooms to install the trenchless sewer line underneath the foundation to the main sewer line in the street. The only time they came into my house was to install 2 new toilets (thank you for both of them by the way :)). After the job was done, they did an excellent job at making sure to leave my house looking like they were never there and providing us with as little of an inconvenience as possible. They did great job of putting back the grass where they dug out the trench on my lawn in which Alex watered every day to keep it alive. Tim thank you for giving us the confidence with choosing your company and Alex for going above and beyond what others would not do. We will recommend this company to others.

Best new find! My experience with ADC was awesome and I am so happy I found them! They offered same day service, the lowest quote and fixed the clogged drain within 10 minutes! Tim and Brandon, the owners (!), came to do the work themselves and were so knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. We will use them for all services going forward! Many thanks again, Tim and Brandon!

I want to recommend Tim Bradon and American Drain Company. We recently had to have some major plumbing work done at our home and the entire team was amazing. Our poor old house has a history of plumbing issues and we have had many plumbing companies in over the years. While they were all good, Tim and ADC were far superior! They replaced the main from the house to the street. They were fast (we were only without water for about an hour or so) and the front yard looks exactly like it did when they started. You can't even tell they were there!
