The food is always great and the service is unmatched. Easily the best dish here is the Lamb Vindaloo but realistically you could get a good meal here with any option. I find the best way to eat is with a side of garlic naan and a side of rice. I did not hear any microwaves that other reviews mentioned and the food seems as fresh as any I've had elsewhere. The waiter is good and the customer service is unmatched.

We've been eating their cuisine for 5 years with takeout... We finally dined in for the first time, and the experience was top-notch.

Very good! I normally don't like tofu, but my wife decided to order the tofu soup for us to share. Amazing flavor! We also enjoyed the chicken tikka masala and tandoori chicken masala. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Food was phenomenal, server was handsome, no microwaves to be seen, there was this short brown haired girl with glasses that tried to rob the restaurant but that’s not the fault of the place.

Excellent lunch with wonderful service. The samosas were hot and crispy - the chicken coconut curry and vindaloo were perfectly seasoned. It was cool and clean inside . Highly recommend!

Great food. Welcoming family run business. Finally a good Indian restaurant in Moorpark.

Quite literally the best Indian food this side of the Nile. I've had a lot of the dishes here and they are all so good. I think that the vegetarian dishes here are very scrumptious. All the other dishes are very delicious too! I like how this place has goat options, which are very hard to find. Great service, and the room is decorated very nicely. While the prices may be a bit steep, you must remember that this is a small business, and they're doing the best they can. While taste of Punjab may be infamous for their $7 rice, the price is completely worth the rice.

We love Taste of Punjab! We were there last week and had our usual meal which is always fantastic. Service is excellent and the family that runs it are really wonderful people that make everyone feel welcome. We love Taste of Punjab!

I have been here to order a takeout before, and it was even easier the 2nd time around. The people who work here are so very friendly, and the food is delicious. A good selection of bottled beers means that you can't really go wrong using this establishment for good US versions (and spellings) of Indian fare.
Returned after 3 years (thanks to Covid) and thankfully is still an extremely nice place. Lovely food, friendly server. No problems.

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 I would put Taste of Punjab up as my #1 Indian restaurant in all of Ventura and most of LA. We order doordash delivery from here at least twice a week! I'm vegetarian and the selections are all delicious! Their garlic naan is amazing as well as their regular naan. The rice is delicious, I mix it into everything, recently even mixed it in with medium boiled eggs (not on menu). I highly recommend the saag paneer!

This place is great and for the lunch buffet it can't be beat.

One of the best parts of this buffet is the spice, most things are actually Medium spice instead of most lunch buffets that have zero spice.

Not only does it make it more authentic, it really shows the pride they put into their food.

Also the food in the buffet is always very hot which is great.

Thanks for the amazing food and once our daughters get old enough we'll be coming for dinner.

I haven't dined-in this restaurant yet but I order-in all the time. It is consistently amazing. The food is so great my family and I keep ordering from them over and over again. I recommend this place to my friends all the time. So I definitely recommend you give it a try!

The food was excellent and the restaurant was very clean. They promptly provided service and very courteous. The menu offers a variety of vegetarian and vegan options. The decor and Ambiance gives a wonderful feel where you get enjoy a nice romantic meal or a nice meal with your family. They also offer takeout options. The restaurant offers access card discounts and the food is excellent.

This place is AMAZING! From the service to the food, it is truly and experience you do not want to miss. Fabulous service & delicious food? What more could one need when going out to eat? Also the boy who serves is the sweetest and has the best manners. Highly highly recommend!

We have been going to this resturant since it opened! We love this place! Their food, family feel and welcoming environment is the best you can get in Moorpark and surrounding cities! Not only do my husband and I love their food but our kids do too... making it a win / win! The food is delicious and we just love supporting a family in Moorpark who tries so hard to please the community!

Great spot to get Indian food here in Moorpark. I recommend the butter chicken! We need to keep supporting these good places so they can survive Moorpark

Don't let covid keep you from eating here. Some of the best flavored indian dishes i have had in a good while. Rice Pulao is so fresh tasting and a perfect pairing with the lamb saag. Portion sizes will not disappoint. Dont let this restaurant go to waste during these troubled times. Will miss when I head back home to the east coast
