Moorpark College

I enjoy attending this college a lot. Most of the professors are dedicated to their subject and students; it's always worth checking their reviews because I have had a few negative experiences with mine. The student store is well stocked with super nice staff. Facilities are clean and only short walks to reach the buildings. The hill is a climb for everyone though. I recommend taking the elevator in the Academic Center to combat that.

This is probable the nicest of the three campuses. It is large, beautiful, and full of student activity, so if you're into that kind of stuff, then you should make this your main campus.

Getting ahold of counselors can be quite difficult because there are so many students and not enough staff. The are good and bad professors, and the food is the same thing as other campuses.

Overall, this is a nice campus that gets quite crowded.

Ps. Parking can be a mountain to climb sometimes.

There’s a zoo in this place and they have all kinds of animals. They had tigers, lions, hyenas, birds, monkeys and many other animals.

It is inexpensive to get in and you can go through the whole park in less than an hour but it is worth it. You will get a great close view and really appreciate their size. The lioness was magnificent.

The zoo at the college is a wonderful adventure. The student staff and staff do a tremendous job with their shows and interactions with the visitors. I highly recommend a visit!

The hill is too hilly. But that is really my only complaint. The classes are good, the building are nice, the store is stocked, And the zoo is fun. Very large campus too. Only had a few bad experiences here, some weird teachers but that's all. Also had probably the best teacher I've ever had here, so there's that. Driving course is kind of run down, but that's the only bad thing physically. There may be Some problems on the inside, I guess, but overall it's pretty good! Been going here for awhile and it's a really nice campus as far as community colleges go.

Great place too be. Quite fun with the Americas Teaching Zoo. We spent hours there for one of the graduations. The staff as well as the students are very kind and helpful. I would like to say to everyone who graduates, great job and that I know you can do great in this world. So, thank you everyone for making our experience at Moorpark College a great experience.

Community College’s preforming arts center. Has great theatrical shows each semester and even dance shows and music concerts. Though one must be enrolled at Moorpark to take classes. The classes are great as the teachers love what they do and they all have professional experience. Auditions are open for their shows every semester you do not have to be a current student to audition, you just have to take the class if cast.

Great art teachers.
Very easy to get enrolled and rather affordable.
Perfect for just taking one or two classes.
The campus is a great date area to just room around while we are on lockdown.
Bueatiful campus compared to Ventura (way smaller and less impressive) and Oxnard (very old).
No wonder people all the way from the West Valley and Camarillo attend this university

Went to go see the production of Blithe Spirit and it was absolutely fantastic! The actors were impeccable with their timing and delivery and we had a great time!

I can't wait to come and see future productions!

Ive been to so many colleges across USA but this school has the best, warmest, friendliest and nicest students of all! Staying here made.me feel im home and would always find someone i could turn to if i need anything. Professors are very helpful and approachable too. Plus, soooo many hot dudes and gorgeous girls who are alsp the nicest. 😇

Very nice school. Enjoyed most of my classes. It was cheaper when I first went here but now the prices are pretty high. Had some good times here too. Parking became better after they added the parking structure.

Great selection of classes. Very nice people and all but It's absolutely amazing how lazy and spoiled students are here. It's like a competition of who can do worst in class. Great teachers all around. It was really hard to make friends in this college. Specially if your are not from around there.

Great three years spent at this place. In the middle of high school and university, going to Moorpark College prepared me for university.
Tips for new students: Make use of the tutoring available in the third floor of the library. Buy books online, not the bookstore. And make plenty of study-buddies.

Going from Pierce College to here. This Community College inspires me far more than Pierce College could ever fathom to. The atmosphere of Pierce is more like a 2nd High School. Moorpark you feel like you are at a University. Everything feels very High Quality and all of the teachers truly want to actually TEACH the students. I have never felt more welcome at a school before. Nor have I wanted to attend a school as much as I do now due to Moorpark. Thank you Moorpark Staff and Teachers!!!

Daughter goes to HS@MC & college classes at Moorpark College. Mrs. Delery, the principal, works very hard so her high school students will strive for excellence while she's there with a safety net for them. An excellent high school & middle college choice to get college credits at the same time!! The instructors are top notch! If you're looking for that close to perfect educational opportunities, we found it here. You don't even have to live in the distinct to attend. Yes, they have honors classes if so desired.

Fairly large community college for the amount of land it has . A decent amount of various classes to choose from according to what major u want to pursue. One of two community colleges in the nation to operate a zoo !

Beautiful zoo with friendly and informative staff. While this may not be as large as other zoo's, it feels more intimate.

This is a great school. Everyone is very friendly, the school is clean and very beautiful. I recommend this college to anyone that wants class availability and great teachers.

Currently enrolled and I've encountered no problems yet. My teachers care about their students, and the campus is beautiful.

Love my alma mater. Great staff, great coaches and great campus. WE ARE MC!
