Children's Choice Pediatric Dentistry

My kids have been going here since 2017. They have been AMAZING with our youngest who is on the spectrum and struggles with the dentist. They have met him where he is and treated him with so much kindness and respect. It took him several visits but he is now able to sit still, let the hygienist clean his teeth, and let the dentist complete his work. I highly recommend them and am so grateful for how they have cared for my kids.

We had our first appointment here today. We drove a long distance to get a THIRD opinion for our 5 year old. Both prior pediatric dentists we tried would not even attempt to work on our son unless they put him out under general anesthesia. Our son got two cavities filled today and loved his experience. Just goes to show... Trust your gut! We are so beyond grateful and thankful for today and we will be back soon.

My husband said that everyone at the office from the front, to the hygienest to the doc were so nice. My son came home telling me he loved the superhero headrest.

The building and staff put off this atmosphere that's welcoming the minute you walk through the doors. The Dental teams are amazing at there jobs with making my children feel comfortable and getting the work that's needing to get done behind the scenes when working with my children, which is not easy most of the time 😅 So, double thumbs up to you guys!! Ya'll are the best!! Everyone should bring their littles to you guys 🫶

My toddler and I had a great experience here! We had previously gone to another pediatric dentist in town, so we had something to compare it to. The staff were all fantastic, very friendly, great with my toddler, and informative. I loved the dentist and his gentle approach with my toddler. He answered all my questions and never rushed me. The office itself had a great setup that really catered to kids. My toddler was actually happy and talking—not scared here! 10/10 would recommend

Had our first visit today!! Our daughter has had an awful experience at her last dentist, they were not kid friendly whatsoever. But HERE, THEY ARE AMAZING! The assistant was so patient and amazing! She showed and explained everything to my 2 year old, made her feel safe & comfortable. They didn’t do anything she wasn’t ready for. It went so well that our daughter let the assistant clean her teeth and let the doctor do an exam! The doctor is also wonderful! Answered all my questions and was so friendly! The front desk lady was also so nice and helpful! And also l gave my daughter light up cat ears for Halloween!! Best dental office for little ones, especially if they have had a poor experience with dentistry in the past!

I took my 9 month old here for his first dental appointment and everything about our experience was phenomenal. The space is inviting, staff are friendly and the doctor is welcoming, knowledgeable, and child centered. Highly recommend!

We love the children’s choice! I went there when I was a child and now all of my kiddos go there as well. I have always had a positive experience with the doctors and staff.

I love how forward the dentist is and is honest about how to care for your child's teeth. After not having that sort of direction as a child I really appreciate it so I can give my son great teeth Health and he can teach his kids.
The encouragement and the happy rewards that they give children for taking care of their teeth makes this actually a fun experience and it's a dentist!

This clinic is fantastic, I've been a loyal patient for nearly a decade. The staff here are incredible, always ready to help and their smiles are so infectious, they can turn your day around, even when dealing with kids complaining about a sore tooth. We think our kids' doctor is the best in Spokane. 🥰

Very thankful for a doctor who understands the psychology of children! It wasn’t an “easy” trip but they made it the best experience ever! My daughter loved the doctor and hygienist! Also watched hygienist work with a young boy with autism and it was so special to watch her love, patience, and compassion.

The best dental clinic ever! They took my son with tooth pain in about 20 minutes after I called them. I appreciate all the stuff and doctors who are working for our kids! They are patient, always smiling at kids and very nice to them!

My son has autism so sitting for any appointment is difficult but the hygienist was very patient and sweet with my son while brushing his teeth. They even noted that he doesn't like any flavoring for future visits. Everyone is so friendly and work really wonderfully with kids on the spectrum and work to build up tolerance. I never feel stressed or worried when going here.

Best dental experience we have ever had in the10+ years of dental appointments with our kids! Highly recommend! Very calm, explanative, the most gentle and the best with nervous kids.

I am blown away by how incredible this place and their staff are! Every single person I met today was absolutely wonderful, they were ALL very kind, helpful, and just an absolute pleasure to speak with. I cannot recommend this place more, they are without doubt the best pediatric dentist office out there! I will never take my son anywhere else now. Also, my son saw Dr. Jared, and I was extremely impressed with how he knew about Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and the dental issues it can cause. I personally have never met any dentist (adult or pediatric) who knew about EDS. It is so reassuring to know that your child is going somewhere with such an intelligent staff that are aware of even rare disorders that can affect your child’s teeth and how they should be worked on. Thank you guys so much for everything you do!

I highly recommend this place if you have little children, the staff is great they are always so kind and helpful, my daughter got all her treatment and I am slowly introducing my son to the dental chair. They take their time and they dont rush the kids if they are not ready for the chair. Thank you to Children's choice on southhill for making going to the dentist a pleasant experience.

The wonderful staff made us feel welcomed, listened to and well cared for! For my sons first time at the dentist, we were very pleased with the kindness and patience from the staff and dentist himself. I would highly recommend this facility to all families! Dentist appointments can be scary, and having a happy welcoming environment with such kind staff, absolutely makes things much more enjoyable.

We always have such a wonderful visit. Everyone is always so friendly. My son can get very Wiggly and ready to go when waiting for his sister, they are very helpful with keeping him distracted and happy. We will definitely be continuing to go to the South Hill Children's Choice!!

My toddler was scared and crying when she sat in the chair. The assistant was the sweetest person and did everything to get her to calm down. It only took her about 3 minutes to get my toddler to smile and sit in the chair. She sat in the chair with no fight the rest of the time. Her and all of the staff have always been so patient with my kids, especially my toddler and we appreciate it so much! My toddler talked about her teeth for the rest of the day.
