Super 1 Foods - Manito

5 stars isn't enough! We love Super 1 and drive all the way across town just to shop here! This truly is the last grocery store in town that goes above and beyond with their customer service. This impeccably clean store always has well stocked shelves and the friendliest employees you'll find anywhere. The people who work here aren't disgruntled! When you shop here you feel welcomed and appreciated. Not only are the employees here happy and willing to help with anything you need---they pay attention and anticipate how they can help! While standing in line one day I glanced behind me to see a woman struggling to reach some soda on the top shelf and before I could blink a Super 1 worker rushed over out of nowhere and got it down for her! Their produce is always fresh, they have bulk spices I can't find anywhere else in town and every time I go to this store I find another amazing product that no one else carries. When you walk up to the bakery or deli counter you don't have to flag anyone down or beg to be waited on like other stores! Super 1 sends a clear message that their customers come first! To die for maple bars -- you can smell them through the entire store....everything in the bakery is amazing. I love how they package things like biscuits and cornbread in smaller packages to accommodate single people or couples. And the deli....is just---the best! Super 1 has the best hot food case around....with a variety of selections you won't find anywhere else. Hard boiled eggs, different sizes of freshly made sandwiches, chicken and tuna salad---low carb options---soup! Superior grab and go lunch choices! The cashiers are always friendly and they actually train their courtesy clerks/baggers! Our groceries are thoughtfully bagged with skill instead of just thrown in mindlessly and that is huge as far as I'm concerned! Our favorite store for so many reasons!

Products are fresh and store is very clean and organized. Prices are good and love the bakery and deli 😋. Very friendly staff. Love those people.

Couldn't find the Egg Nog. When I asked a staff member went with me to find it and we did. Great customer service. Fabulous selection of food and good price on wines.

Yes Super 1 foods has an amazing butcher and a great deli. However on my recent visits I have had the best customer service from Nicki. So friendly and always a smile on her face. Great fun to chat with as well. I hope Super 1 knows what an asset she is.

They are working magic in the doughnut area, the maple Bavarian cream Bismarck is the best thing since sliced bread honestly it's life changing

I wasn’t excited when I first moved here to shop at this store, but I have to say, it has grown on me. The butcher shop is great, and the employees are always super nice and helpful. Prices are good too. I’d love to see a nice remodel (classic 90’ style) and rearrangement of the store (it feels like some aisles of related items are on the complete opposite side of the store! 😅) but the best thing is their plastic bags! They won’t fall apart on you on the way to the car and are nice enough that they make for great reuse for many tasks. Good work!

Absolutely one of best groceries in Spokane. Check out their meat department!! Calamari steak and Manila clams anybody?? And at these prices lets have them more often. The store is consistently clean and the staff is always friendly even they're short staffed. Take a little trek up the South Hill and give these guys a try.
PS The fall colors in Manito Park are breathtaking but they won't last long kind of like the seafood sale at Super One.

I don’t normally take time to leave a review but I have to share my experience. I came into the store this morning in a really negative mood. While shopping, I had about 4 employees ask me how my day was going in a really kind and genuine way. I honestly walked out of the store feeling much better than I had when I arrived. And it was the positivity and kindness that changed my outlook. Customer service is EVERYTHING! Thank you for giving me a brighter day! I will be back!

Fantastic experience! Super 1 has a wide variety of foods and products to choose from. This location also shares space with a huckleberrys natural market which is another big plus. This location is probably the cleanest store I have ever been in bathroom was sparkling clean. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly if I could I would give this store 10 stars

Everyone who works here has been extremely helpful and friendly, even through COVID. They'll always offer to take bags to the car for you, even if you came on foot! Additionally, the bakery offerings are outstanding - beautiful and taste homemade.

So far, from what I've seen, it's a great store. Some prices better than other places. Some not... But that's how it goes. Nice people and seemed very clean. It's a little farther away from me then the other stores in the area, but I'll be back to shop so I can look around more. Thank you!

One of the most amazing stores iv ever been to. Iv never seen such beautifully stocked shelves with such wonderful selections that I haven't seen at other stores! They also have some of the best looking fresh veggies and fruit! It swear nothing was out of place there. I was absolutely in love with this store and its clean organized standards 💕👍

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Super 1 foods. First I need to brag about the price I paid for 6 half inch to 1 inch T-BONE steaks. They came in packs of 2 at about $11-$15 per pack so I saved $???A WHOLE LOT OF $$$$$. and they were pretty. That's the thing that is the best thing about Super 1, the sales are frickin ridiculous good!!! The produce is always top quality, and picture worthy. The only thing I would say is some of the prices are kind of high, but for the freshest options, you may actually save money if you dont eat boxes of cereal, or other pantry items really quickly, being the freshest... You dont ever have to worry about your items expiring.
The employees are friendly, and not in a fake way, they are fun and joke around with you which I enjoy. I feel valued authentically.
I recommend Super 1. Its on 29th on the South Hill, in Manito Shopping Center.

I was visiting a friend in the area. This was the nearest Grocery Store. Oh, how impressed I was when I walked in. Greeted Immediately at the door; Was even given a shopping cart that had just been sanitized. EVERYONE was wearing a mask; Even I was. A Female Employee asked If she could help me find anything. Of course I replied "Yes, please" (Since I had never been in there before)!
This Market was absolutely Amazing! The isles reflected Cleanliness; Shelves/Dairy/Bakery were Well Stocked; Bright Ceiling Lights and The Delicious Smell of the Deli and Bakery; brings you back to childhood. Kind Smiles from ALL the Employees AND there was NO waiting for a Register. I asked for "Paper" NOT "plastic" and was given a kind "Thank You for Shopping Super 1...Have a Good Night!" What Such Kindness.

Nice clean store. Great quality meat department. They make you feel like your in a butcher shop. Kudos for friendly service. You have to shop the ad otherwise some things can be pricey in comparison to a store like Fred Meyers but overall a pleasant neighborhood market with quality products!
