Highland House Restaurant

Came here while on vacation in winter,sat at the bar and was pleasantly surprised. The menu was amazing,the server/bartender was great(I think I heard someone call him Chris?)Food was great. The side salad was beautiful and tasty. Adding beets makes a salad top notch! Had coors light on tap which is a bonus for us. TV’s playing sports and light music playing in the background. The scenery is beautiful. We will be back when we come back this way!

Tried the Vegan Bean Patty burger really delicious and the Beef Patty- Heavy and filling and tasty!
Their fries are also very crispy and tasted fresh.
Also tried their cocktails which they said is the first week they were offering them, loved the mule!
The fish and chips could have been better!

We really enjoyed our meals. The food was quality and great for the price. The atmosphere is always friendly, and the staff calls us by name. We have also been enjoying the coupons. Keep those coming! We were there for our 40 year anniversary and treated to a bottle of champagne!

The service is always good, view of the mountain is great, good drink selection, and the chickpea steak salad is awesome. And the blue cheese dressing has kept me coming back for years. I like casual eating in the bar and lounge area and eating outside in the warm months is a must.

I ordered the shrimp tacos, Bill ordered the burger and fries. We agree that both meals were delicious. We will be back soon for lunch!

One of the absolutely most positive dining experiences we have had in several years and I truly mean that. My wife an I eat out several times a month and have experienced a noticeable decline in service at these restaurants. The Highland House was that exception, not only was the food very well prepared but the service was exceptional from our waiter to the bus staff even what seemed to be the manager who walked by our table several times just glancing to make sure everything was as it should be. Very nice restaurant has outdoor tables with beautiful view to mount Shasta. Food is very delicious, good service.

My husband and I always enjoy coming to and eating at The Highland House in the Mount Shasta Resort... Everyone is very welcoming, attentive and the food is always delicious. We always ask for Jonathan to take care of us because he’s just a great server and we have gotten to know him. He’s great at what he does. The only thing is I wish is that soup was back on the menu. Otherwise we always have a top notch experience.

Great place to gather with friends for a formal dinner, sports fanatic viewers or just sitting on the deck (when the weather permits) and enjoying the lovely view and watching the sun go down behind the Eddy's. Good food and long time servers who know your needs before you do. Enjoy

Our food server, Cinthia, was fantastic! She provided excellent customer service, helped with our menu choices and is a great food server. Any employer would be lucky to have her as an employee. The food was excellent. We even ordered extra halibut to go! It was an enjoyable evening!

Black bean + farrow burger was amazing.
The view from windows is beautiful. Service was nice. They also offered 10% off because we were staying at their resort.

We eat here quite often. We have always had great food and good service. I love the Black Bean Farrow Burger, but keep trying new items and so far none have disappointed.

We love the service and variety of dishes at the Resort. Lately, my husband and I have tried new restaurants and we find ourselves comparing them to "the restaurant" (the Resort). No other restaurant has the service and the willingness and ability to cook food to customers' expectations. We truly appreciate that!

servers are super friendly and courteous. the food is very good. the atmosphere (the view out the windows) is amazing. we go to brunch almost every sunday.
love that they will serve us lunch or brunch on sunday morning. i love the cobb salad (they make it with spinach for me!) the eggs benedict florentine are fantastic and their hamburgers and fries are great.
it is a very relaxing atmosphere.

Lance waited on us and it is always great to have his care and attention...and we love Denae too. They both are amazing!

I love everything about this restaurant; the personalized and caring service, a local hangout filled with community, the quality of the food is so fresh and filled with flavors, the daily specials, and the fun atmosphere. I'm getting to know each wait-staff personally just as they are with me. I'm so happy that you're here.

Always enjoy our time spent at The Resort The staff and the service are the best. The quality of the food is first rate. Can't get a better view. Good to see Spring coming. This is a must try for people enjoying our area.

We had the spring rolls which were very tasty! The filet medallions and the chicken parm were delicious!! The chocolate cake was also amazing! Our server was fantastic!! Highly recommend!

The service is always the best. Jasmine,Chris,Jonathan,and Lance are attentive and we love visiting with the. The decorations are alway beautiful .
