Moorpark Child Development Center

I'm so thankful to have had the Moorpark child development center for my littles. I can't praise it enough. Johanna runs the center and is one of the most kind, warm people I've ever known. My children were in the "Jacaranda room" with Melanie, Tori and great student teachers that are enthusiastic about preschool. Experienced mothers and teachers, they are clearly devoted to the children. It's a play based classroom with several stations set up daily for sensory activities, imaginative play, art, etc. The teachers are always near to assist the children in navigating relationships with one another. Just wonderful.

Although I came here as a student observer, not a parent dropping off their child, I observed nothing but love and care from these 'teachers' to the kids. The school has a very open approach with the children preferring to listen rather then dictate. Check the school out, you won't be disspointed.
All of the teachers at the center are sweeter then honey, but personally for me, learning from teacher Shannon was a privilege.
