La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Redding

Love this hotel..friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, fabulous breakfast and overall amazing customer service!! Jason is awesome and always does his best to make my stay the best it can be..we will definitely be staying again in near future!!

This was a really good experience, finally staff that was very helpful. The customers are treated with respect. They seem to actually care and want to make it a good stay I was very pleased. Thank you for your time and the great service. We were in room 132 between the 5th-8th of March if I'm not mistaken.

First of all the location is safe the town around the La Quinta Inn is abundant with stores, if you need something on the spur of the moment.
The Famous Cattlemen’s steak house is right next door. I think once you’ve checked in they offer a discount on the wonderful steak dinners. So that’s a plus if you able to come into town before the restaurant closes.
If you know you’ll be coming in you can order a head of time. This is very nice.
I know that there have been low reviews of this place however we have stayed there 4 or fives times on our way from LA to Bend Oregon.
They are pet friendly and that’s a plus for sure.
At least We know that we can make it from LA to there and that our fur babies are welcome. That makes the trip less worrisome.
The staff has always been very nice as well never had any problems.
I must say the dog friendly rooms could be updated from carpets to beds. They can smell a little.I’m being honest but considering all that they get 5 stars other than the pet friendly rooms.
This LaQuinta Inn needs refreshed .
I know a lot of people traveling have been repeat customers.
I feel like the company should refresh this wonderful place.
It’s a great location with great staff they deserve a refreshed environment.
Many many people visit this La Quinta Inn.
I will continue to stay here because I know I’m welcome and my fur babies and honestly at the end of a long day journey it’s a great feeling to know we fur babies and all can fall asleep in the same room.
But please big company owner please refresh this place it makes money for you and we the loyal customers would love a refresh.

Clean and comfortable room, good water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was rather disappointing. Good value for money overall.

I was really worried after reading previous reviews that our room would be gross. We had just spent 4 days at the Hilton in Redding so I was extra worried. I was pleasantly surprised. We stayed in a pet room that was very clean and We had zero hints that prior pets had been in there. No smells. The beds were way more comfortable than the Hilton which surprised the heck out of me. I expected breakfast to be meh but it was just as good as the Hilton ( minus not having oatmeal). There were sausages, scrambled eggs, bagels, english muffins, pretty much everything you need. I was so happy with our stay we will be staying there in the future instead of paying $211+ per night at the Hilton. The only drawback was that you had to enter the lobby to get to your room. So no side door access. I understand why they do this though, likely trying to keep transients out since Redding has a huge transient problem. One other thing, they had all the movie channels, which was nice but not many kid friendly channels… but we weren’t there to watch tv, spent the whole week at the lake. Thanks for a nice stay La Quinta. Great service too! The AC worked amazingly well, even better than the Hilton!

There was a generous breakfast and the room was nice and large. Kudos!

So how is it I am giving a five star review for a dated hotel, tier two rank, that is understaffed and cannot provide daily housekeeping? Because you cannot beat the value offered by this property and staff! I usually choose Hampton Inn for my short term stays, but I had to book where my two friends had already booked, and went with it, hoping for the best after seeing the cumulative rating! Well, this hotel really is an amazing value! First off, we were able to get early arrival into spotless rooms that were HUGE! Ashley was an amazing hospitality professional in providing early arrival, and in checking the three of us in, in record time! What a lovely person, too! This had all of us in a great, positive mood! Then, we experienced the great surprise of our rooms! This older hotel has the large footprint of the heyday of the 90’s! Such a comfortable well appointed room for less than half of what I would have paid at the Hampton Inn. The location is a few minutes away from prime retail and eateries. We especially liked that a Sprouts Food Store was about a half mile down the road!
The hotel was also quiet, with well lit parking and access doors! This hotel also allows pets on the first floor only. I wasn’t too crazy about that fearing noisy nights for quality sleep, but pets were not an issue for us on the second floor! The breakfast included in hotel price was adequate for an early start with yogurt, do it yourself waffles, various cereals, mini muffins, and customary coffee, milk and juices. ~We did enjoy the Cattleman’s Restaurant that is adjacent to the hotel for dinner one night, which was super convenient for the time crunch we had to getting back to our conference! I would definitely return to this hotel, and spend the extra money I saved on other pampering excursions around Redding!

Great location off the free, easy access. Staff were friendly, helpful. Breakfast is good with a great amount of seating (we like a hot meal). Check in and out were fast. Beautiful courtyard, with a pool.

Very clean room & comfortable. Pets are welcome which is why I originally booked there. The price is comparable to others in area. It is very convenient to many places to eat & stored as well as gas & banks in a few block radius. I highly recommend & will stay there again.

Hotel was clean and staff was super nice. My dog got to stay with me which made it even better. My room was huge with 2 double beds a closet and decent size bathroom. Definitely recommend

La Quinta is my preferred hotel choice! Free proper breakfast and decently priced!

I'm having a great stay. The staff is very courteous and friendly. The rooms are very pet friendly.. I travel with two small dogs and both are blind and I need a first floor poolside room with a sliding door and I have always been able to get one. The rooms are showing wear which is perfect for the dogs.

This hotel has changed tremendously since they got a new general manager! Not to mention the AWESOME breakfast and the extremely friendly and helpful staff! I will absolutely be staying here again!

They should be proud of your hotel. Their staff was courteous and respectful. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was as well. My husband, my 115 lb. dog and I were comfortable. That says allot for a finicky pet owner!

This place is excellent. Even has a full continental breakfast complete with your own waffle maker. Got to say the security is awesome. . Bumped into her in the lobby had ever one who's stuff wasn't secure and what items if they were uncovered! She is on point! Rooms were clean with excellent amenities!

Thank You La Quinta! for such a wonderful experience. I was so impressed with how respectful the Gentleman that helped us was. Your respect for our military was noted. Your Rooms were clean and comfortable. Your breakfast was very nice. Can tell you take pride in your service to the public. I'll recommend your hotel, to anyone that wants a very clean room and most comfortable stay. To the Gentleman that was at the front desk. I hope you and your family have a wonderful trip to Disneyland next month.

Real great stop. Dog friendly large rooms, with lit, security patrolled parking around the perimeter for our Uhaul and trailer. Pulled in late at night, after a long day on the road. When I walked in the man at the front desk was sounded like he dealing with a guest issue. Longer story short, he was very professional. I was impressed and he was able to accommodate us; He was significantly more awake and less frazzled than I. Rooms were clean, exceeding expectations.

The price of the rooms was very good. The cattleman's restaurant next door was a good place to eat and there was not a lot of other sit-down restaurants in the immediate area. It was nice to find out it was a non-smoking hotel, not just some rooms. The staff was nice and greeted you as you entered. My only complaint was the AC in our room didn't get super cold, even on full blast.
