Thornton Ace Hardware

I called ahead and asked if they cut motorcycle keys and was helped by someone really nice on the phone saying yes. I went in and the guy who cut my keys was amazing! He went through the hassle of looking online for my key code, using a demo key to ensure the blank keys I brought in wouldn’t be ruined, and hand cut them for me to perfection. He made it a great experience and was an all around very awesome dude and put in the extra mile for me without hesitation. I’m only sad I didn’t get his name to shout him out but thank you for helping me out and making it such a good experience!

Love this location! They always have the items I am looking for and always have great customer service . The garden section always has way better quality than the bigger stores and seems to carry items that I actually need.

The people are great and are easy to talk to very friendly always willing to help you and go out of their way for you I definitely would recommend this store

Give Ed a raise. I should have wrote this review months ago. I have got to the point of being on a first-name-basis with this man (even my 5 year old son!) and he has given me help with anything I have asked well beyond any other store of any kind in the past. Context: back in May I took on the task of growing a lawn from seed with what was previously a plot of dirt and weeds. I somewhat knew what I was doing going into it, but he provided insight every step of the way and I now have a full lawn that I get compliments from my neighbors on frequently. I have come to him with a list of questions every time I visit this store and not once have I left without every question answered thoroughly. The customer service I have received from him is unmatched. I'm not typically one to go out of my way to write reviews, but hopefully management will catch wind of this post and give him the credit he deserves.

This store has always fit my needs for all of my smaller home projects. Rich and his staff are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and go out of their way to help. Something you don’t get at a big box store. They give the feel of a neighborhood hardware store and are a great fit for our community.

Mekenze was awsome. I walked in with nothing but a table leg and she got me the bolts i needed in under 10 minutes. Was very happy i came here instead of trying to do this myself at home depot.

A wonderful location full of busy but knowledgeable staff. They usually have what you're looking for and the prices are always fair.

This is a true, old school Ace Hardware. Knowledgeable staff, friendly atmosphere and a great option for the anti-big box customer. I have never gone in and not been able to find what I needed at a good price. I don't know how they do it with such a small store.

Ended up pulling the trigger on a new grill after a bunch of research. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Jen was a great help at the store getting it loaded and recommending accessories. We chatted about good food through the process and it was a great experience.

Amazing staff-

Top of the line customer service every time I enter. Knowledgeable as well as helpful staff. I never have to search or even ask for help because there’s always a staff member who checks with me first. Cashiers have great attitudes always greet and thank me and never forget to make a little small talk.

Very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and happy in his job! Interested in my project to make sure I was getting what I needed. Ace always has what I need and they are always well stocked. Every customer is actually a priority so you don't mind short checkout lines. Always a pleasure shopping here, no matter which store I've gone to. Great job Ace!

2 hours and 5 box stores later, finally able to get to this ACE when they open. I was working OT all week so i was trying to find some screws for my ceiling fan. Assuming the big box stores would have in stock and after needless searches, back and forth from store to store, department to department they tapped out with a self threading screw. Not feeling comfortable since it is a ceiling fan went into this ACE on Saturday. Of course its busier than a Bee Hive in spring, went to the back and a Gentleman in a green shirt pointed to the 2 rows the screws would be on. Once again started my fruitful search and was finding something close, but wouldn't thread or was very tight. A Ace Employee was working with a Motorhead on a hard to find bolt as well, he asked me if i was finding everything okay but i replied, not exactly. He said once he was done with his customer, he would find my screw. Well he searched found something close, then proceeded behind the counter, did a search of some kind then he said, its a weird thread. Now he told me there is a shelf in the back corner that had three perfect screws!! This person saved my day and he also commented, should have came here first.. In the future, I will always shop here. Thanks ACE!!

5 STARS for Brian!! I needed to pick up several pieces of stainless steel hardware, anchors, and screws. I'm a professional contractor with 20 years in the business and already had in my head how I was going to perform the task that I needed the hardware for. I have only been in that particular Ace Hardware one other time and I'm not familiar with the store's layout.

Brian was able to direct me to the exact locations and bins for the stainless steel hardware, anchors, and concrete screws that I needed to complete my camera project. He worked with me on each piece and part for proper metric thread, length, and fitment until we had everything that I needed! I felt like I had a personal concierge at the hardware store!

Brian should receive some type of recognition as he exemplified what I think any major corporation would want ALL team members to do! He was knowledgeable, listened, offered an alternative solution when it was necessary, and was kind!

Thank you Ace Hardware for providing an atmosphere for team members to really interact and help the customer!

ACE IS THE PLACE!!!!

This place is really great if you need help, they are always friendly and hard-working! The prices are definitely higher than Home Depot or Lowe's, but then again their ratio of people is much higher, so awesome customer service!
Kudos to this store for doing what the big stores cannot do!

Trying to find a plumbing part. The poor worker spent some time with me comparing to everything he had trying to find a match. We ended up not having any luck. He was kind enough to reccomend a specific plumbing store to reach out to. Thank you sir for all your help!

I have been going to this Ace Hardware for years. They have always had a good selection of items. However the selection is limited compared to Lowes and Home Depot. But I have usually found what I was looking for and the staff is always helpful and courteous. They have recently gone through some remodeling and expansions, their screws, nuts, and bolts section has got bigger.

The services they provided along with MacKenzie's (sp?) AMAZING help will.have me telling everyone I know about you guys!!

I had a great experience with someone by the name of cherise! They need more people like her she helped with mu concerns and figured out my paint issue and it was a tough one.

Great little store. Very friendly and helpful staff. They also have some very original, local products you won't find at bigger stores. Selection will be smaller than a Home Depot and a Lowe's, but you know that going in. Prices are comparable to other stores.
