Mullen Family Dentistry

From my very first visit with Dr. Mullen I was at ease. The staff that I've dealt with are very sweet and caring. Dr. Mullen shared how I would benefit from a certain procedure to help with my sensitivity to hot and cold and my gum recession. I just had the procedure done two days ago and I can't say enough how happy I am! Not only with the beautiful white appearance (no more awful discolored gum recession) but I have no more sensitivity! I want to start by saying how grateful I am to Shawnee, dr Mullen and the staff. I had a dental emergency where my front teeth lost the fake caps I had (Thursday night). My normal insurance would have had me wait 2 months to get in since it was just an “appearance” emergency.
I was nervous to pay out of pocket but I work in sales so I need my teeth haha. EVERYWHERE was booked up or not taking new patients. Dr Mullen office was so kind and considerate. Shawnee at the front desk originally faught to get me scheduled a week later where everywhere else said I’d have to wait weeks. Within 24 hours (Friday)she called back to get me in that Monday 3 days earlier to at least get me seen consulted and xray. They were busy! Dr Mullen and his team bounced around from patient to patient determined to get my teeth fixed for me that day when all they had time for was a quick consultation and an xray. They worked on my teeth for 3 hours, I’m sure skipping lunch and got my teeth looking INCREDIBLE!!
Financially they were much better than I was expecting it out of pocket. Honestly I’d go through the whole experience again they were that kind, thoughtful and determined to do the best job possible for me. That’s hard to find. Thank you all!

Very professional and friendly staff, very good at what they do and genuinely care.
I brought my 13 yo daughter in after a fall at school, without even calling them to warn them, her front teeth had been knocked loose! They fit her in right away and did everything they could to save her teeth. Everybody was so patient and careful with her, it was a very scary day and the entire staff was so so kind.
I'm happy to say they saved her teeth and she looks and feels amazing!

The most kind staff you’ll ever meet! My husband and I hadn’t seen a dentist in about 15 years. Raising kids and getting them through braces, we decided it was finally time to take care of our teeth. We were nervous and a bit embarrassed, knowing we didn’t place our oral hygiene as a priority. Not once did anyone make us feel ashamed, nor did we feel judged. They came up with a plan and explained how each process will be. We appreciate how sweet all the women working there are, along with how awesome Dr. Mullen is! Very thankful to have found such a compassionate, amazing dentistry!

These guys are great, very professional and very welcoming! On my first visit Dr Mullen started by giving me a full tour of their office including backrooms, made me feel they are trustworthy. Was very straightforward with all procedures and gave me a detailed but simple brake-down of what I need done (after getting x-rays) and how many visits I would need and what each visit would cost. I'm not sure I've ever had such a professional experience at a dentist or nearly any health care office for that matter. Were open and respectful about my decisions on things like silver amalgams and fluoride. Great job!

Dr. Mullen and his staff are amazing! Super friendly!!! I love how they take there time explaining to you everything you need to get done. If you need to make payments in order to get work done they work with you. Also, I love how fast they are when doing dental work. Dr. Mullen is super funny and Emily is super nice. They did a great job on my dental work today and I appreciate their kindness.

Absolutely love my experience at Dr. Mullen! I’ve had really bad experiences with Dentist but Dr. Mullen and his team have been the most redemptive experience. I use to hate going to a dentist and now I love my visits because of the incredible results I see! They make you so comfortable and minimize any discomfort you might have while they work on your teeth. They are also very honest and won’t try to get you to do more work on your teeth if it’s not needed. By far THE best dental office I’ve ever been to! Also, shoutout to Rachel who does my cleanings with such excellence, she is the best dental hygienist I’ve had!

Dr. Mullen and his stay did an outstanding job! I had some cosmetic bonding work done to fix the imperfections in my smile and I can honestly say I have not stopped smiling since I left the office! Everyone at Dr. Mullens Dentistry is beyond friendly. The make you feel welcome and right at home. I will gladly recommend all of my friends and family to them! Thank you guys. You rock!

The staff and Dr Mullen are wonderful, I took my daughter for her appointment, and I had a build in bottom retainer that was cutting my tongue and I wasn’t even a patient yet and they had me fill out the paperwork and worked me right in while my daughter was have her check up done. Thank you so much you guys are wonderful.

This is the best dental care I have received in decades !!! My teeth are so important to me & the quality of care I received is above & beyond my expectations ! They were so kind & courteous !!! Which is a huge plus seeing I am not thrilled when I need to go get my teeth checked . I cannot say enough about how great this office is. I have extreme anxiety around going to the dentist and they worked as quickly and carefully as possible to give me a great experience. For the first time in years I have a healthy smile thanks to Dr.Mullen and his team.

My experience has been nothing but positive. The staff members are very friendly. It's a very warm and welcoming draperies even.. Dr. Mullen did a tooth implant in the very front of my mouth. He did a superb job. Absolutely couldn't recommend a better dentist and staff.

Perhaps the best dental office my family and I will experience. My husband found this place and now my parents who are seniors and don’t speak much English still feel comfortable enough to go there by themselves. They definitely treat everyone with the same love and respect. Dr. Muellen is super awesome and caring. All the ladies there are very friendly, loving, and helpful. When you’re there, you definitely feel like family.

Dr. Mullen is an exceptional, professional, skilled and caring dentist who stands out among his peers. After so many disappointments and unpleasant experiences with several dentists in the area, I was taken back by the courtesy and kindness of staff and the effort of Dr. Mullen to see me on short notice to repair a tooth even though he was extremely busy. I have to say that I am still blown away by the extraordinary responsiveness of Dr. Mullen and staff, and the great work done to restore my tooth!

I have not had good experiences in the past going to dentist. So I must say I was very nervous on my first visit at Dr. Mullen’s office. But, much to my surprise I had The Best experience ever!!! I couldn’t believe how welcomed I felt. All of the staff was friendly, caring and very personal and Dr. Mullen was caring, gentle and very efficient. I won’t mind going back at all:) I have finally found an outstanding Dentist office. Thank you!

How can you love a Dentist, well I clicked all the stars anyways........ not that I love my experience at the Dentist, but Dr. Mullen and his Staff not only make you feel welcome, they put in that extra sincere care that most dentist or doctors don't.

I have been to Dr. Mullen twice and each time after coming down off the anesthetic, and being warned that I might be in pain, and suggest taking Ibuprofen, I have had a very pleasant experience and would recommend Dr. Mullen and his staff to anyone looking for a dentist that not only can do an excellent job but also caters to making you feel comfortable while in his care.

Their equipment appears to be the state of the art and with the state of the art equipment they are able to give you the best dental care available in Shasta County.
