Found this gem after a few disappointing riding experiences. We actually loved my daughter’s old riding school but she had surpassed what they could offer as far as growth and challenging her to advance. I really liked Katie immediately. She is calm and genuinely kind but also she works her students with both compliments and critiques in a thoughtful manner. I say that because I found out not all instructors feel like they need to have any bit of curtesy or think they have every right to be emotionally unhinged when a mistake is made but then overly ridiculous in praise for minor things. My daughter has a group lesson with 2 or 3 girls who are just a couple years younger but they all have similar skill sets. I really like the independence they give in tacking up for lessons because her old place was still supervising her and in some cases taking up too much of the lessons doing that. I get her there half an hour or 20 minutes before so she gets a full hour on the horse. They have a separate arena for jumping, which they do in every lesson as well as dressage. I don’t know if they only teach English style but I’m pretty sure that is what Katie does. If you ride Western only then I would say confirm that first! My daughter and the girls all wear their pants and nice riding shirts. Something about dressing the part my daughter feels makes a difference in her riding but it isn’t mandatory although like any horse ranch you have to wear pants and boots and helmet. I also would like to comment how wonderful the horse my daughter rides is and I only know one other horse background but these are very well taken care of and well trained horses. It was an issue at our last place because the owner clearly had a soft spot for horses that needed some place to go. Unfortunately their health or temperament would not allow them to be ridden often or at beginning to maybe intermediate levels. This is horse riding so it is not an inexpensive activity but the price is on par for the average place in this area and we have had an experience that has been well worth it. I was able to meet a family who has been there 2 years and they had only great things to say which completely sealed my confidence that my daughter has a great place to ride probably for a few years! I highly recommend for English riders who don’t mind working pretty hard.

Hands down the best riding lessons! Katie and her team are extremely talented, easy to work with and very organized. I learn twice as much in my lessons here than any of the other places I ride. They help you to feel confident no matter what your skill level is. Definitely check them out.

Katie has helped me build a bond with my man Sai. He's at times spooky but she's taught me how to ride and correct the issue. From beginner to advance make a stop here she'll teach you a lot once she gets to know you and your needs. She has taught me confidence and She fixed my dropped left shoulder after 5 lessons and discovering the problem!! I've had a dropped left shoulder for as long as I can remember.

She also has lessons horses that are amazing I've been happy to ride one prior to my purchase! They're very calm and can keep a beginner safe. She also has more advanced horses for every need. My eight year old is starting lessons soon but I've seen many lessons for beginners and know she's in good hands with good ponies.
