Great family owned business, would highly recommend. Their to go containers are big and they fill them up. I usually get the vegetable chow mien and the tangerine chicken (pictures provided). Everything they have is just all around good. I'll admit certain meats you should (yourself) add more flavor. Either ways the small Chinese restaurant is one of the best especially for the price and area.

We ordered take out and the food had generous portions. It is located right in the plaza off Collins. I loved the string beans and the salt and pepper fish!

I went there for the first time the other day and have been their 3 times since. Their food is made fresh and the flavors are distinctly delicious. The sauces are amazing and different than any other Chinese restaurants around. Going there on Sunday to buy dinner for the cousins and to try some new dishes like the tangerine ribs , fish with black bean sauce and the beef chow fun. Absolutely worth trying this restaurant. Oh and the service is delightful!!

Great customer service, fantastic variety not seen in other Chinese restaurants. Feels a little pricey- but then you see the generous portions. I try something new every time I eat there- is always interesting and delicious.

I have been going here for several years and I keep coming back, because it is good quality, authentic Chinese food. As a kid growing up in Simi Valley, my parents would drive 45 minutes to Monterey Park/San Gabriel (and also Chinatown) to get good authentic Chinese food. I have tried a lot of Chinese Restaurants in Ventura County, but in terms of high quality authentic Chinese food, I have not found any restaurant besides Yue Yan. My parents and I are glad that we don't have to drive so far anymore. Typically, I order the Mapo Tofu, Fish Fillet with Black Bean Sauce, Broccoli with Garlic, and the Soup of the Day. The Soup of the Day is the best, because they always boil down the pork bones or chicken bones, and they use healthy Chinese herbs such as goji berries or jujube. Other dishes that I have enjoyed are their roast duck, shrimp and walnut dish, and fish chow fun. I always enjoying going there, because Felicity, the owner, is always so hospitable and friendly.

Amazing food and equally amazing service. I grew up in the Bay Area eating super authentic Chinese and Vietnamese food and this place hits the spot. I wouldn't call it Chinese take out where they just have the trays of food on warmers, it's much closer to a real nice Chinese sit down restaurant. Definitely the best Chinese food you can find in Moorpark.

This Traditional Chinese restaurant has won me over. Their authentic recipes have trickled down from generation to generation. Their flavors here are so strong and real. I'm a line cook at a music venue, so to be able to sit and indulge is a treat. The owners care so much and if you take a moment to have a discussion with them they appreciate the feedback from your experience. I dine-in anytime I go. The Steamed Buns are the way to go as they are so succulent and tender. The in-house teas are out of this world as well. I recommend this place %100.

Great Chinese food. Everything is made to order and fresh. They use chicken breast for their orange chicken and the sauce is amazing. I recommend the steamed pork dumplings most flavorful ones I've had in a long time.

My wife and I have lived in the Conejo Valley for over 25 years. We have never found a truly satisfying Chinese food restaurant in the area until my wife happened upon Yue Yan in Moorpark last week. What a true gem !

I grew up in Los Angeles and was spoiled on great Chinese food in L.A.'s Old Chinatown and subsequently in the San Gabriel Valley. However, I would have to drive a great distance from the Conejo Valley to eat there now.

We love the old Cantonese style of Chinese cuisine. Yue Yan happens to include that style in their menu. When we ate there the first time last week, we tried the:
1) homemade seafood soup with tofu
2) flat rice noodles with beef in black bean sauce
3) mushroom and Chinese Napa cabbage
4) tangerine chicken.

The food is made to order, in generous portions and most importantly, absolutely delicious. Felicity, the co-owner, served us. She was such a pleasant and customer-service oriented person. Her co-owner husband is the gifted chef.

The food was so tasty that we ordered take-out dinner from Yue Yan the next day!

The bottom line on Yue Yan is great food and friendly customer service. I recommend it without hesitation.

Finally - Authentic Cantonese food in the valley! My family and I used to drive over an hour to Monterey Park just to eat Cantonese style food so we were so happy when we found this place.

- Customer service: Excellent! The owners checked in on us throughout our meal and made sure we had enough water, tea, etc. The food was prepared really quickly and there wasn't much of a wait.
- Price: excellent lunch specials. Dinner prices were reasonable and the portions are great for sharing.
- Best Dishes: our favorites were the Yang Chow fried rice, fish fillet with veggies, braised tofu with oyster sauce, and chinese broccoli with minced garlic.
- Good dishes: Walnut shrimp, orange peel beef. For the orange peel beef, the citrus flavor and level of spice were really mild. A little more seasoning and it would have been perfect.
- Dessert: My family and I usually don't like jello/pudding desserts so we were pleasantly surprised. We all loved the black sesame, passionfruit jello and COCONUT MOCHI!
- Overall: we have been to many different Chinese restaurants in the neighboring areas and this is by far our favorite. Can't wait to come back and try more of their dishes.

Best Chinese food I've had in a long time. It's in the back of the Moorpark college plaza. A little hard to find, but we'll worth it.

The food is delicious. The soups, fried rice, chow mein, beef and broccoli, rice noodles, kun Pao chicken, dim sun are amazing. I tried this place a couple of months ago and it is now one of my favorite chinese restaurants around. The place is clean and everyone is super nice!

The Lady welcomed my buddie and I and it felt genuine. I was passing by cause We needed to have lunch while on work duty. I was expecting it to taste fastfood type but was impressed that it was fresh or cooked from scratch, they didnt take long at all. The fun was was when I was eating it on the road I was like whats happening to me? Cause i didnt expect this to be this good and the portions where right and some. "not just veggies well balanced" I live about 95 miles away from this place and wish it was near my house. I highly recommend it as the food is prepped for you, like homemade thanksYue Yan

Stopped by here a couple of days ago, they opened last week. Moorpark needs good Chinese food and this place fits the bill! They have dim sum favorites like shumai, taro buns, and dumplings which were fabulous! Can't wait to come here again!

The best kept secret in Moorpark for authentic, fast, and delicious Chinese takeaway or delivery; the staff is friendly, the space is cozy, and the chefs are quick, don't sleep on their Shrimp Egg Fu Yung or their Seafood Fried Rice!
