The Black Diamond

One of the best pool halls in Washington state. If you are ever in the Spokane area, it is a must stop. It's at 9614 Sprague Ave. They have many Diamond tables, and are well maintained. The table we played on had consistent rails/bumpers, clean cloth, and was well lit. They have full bar and grill, with classic good food. I had a burger and onion rings that were excellent. The staff are very friendly. Staff were proactive in asking to help, and checking in to determine satisfaction. Also, if you're looking for lessons, Damian Pongpanik is the house pro. His has a very strong game, and has competed at top venues both regional and national, as well as on live events such as FNL Productions (Friday Night Lights Productions). Additionally, he is the founder of Jam Up Apparel. The have both leagues and tournaments. The feel is an upscale sports pool hall, and very clean. They have WiFi, large video screen, clean spacious bathrooms, night club with live music, and more. A diverse set of people and players frequent The Black Diamond. Some of the top players in WA frequent The Black Diamond. The weekends are always lively, and table time prices are very affordable. It is also family friendly. Expect satisfaction, and good memories.

The food here is amazing and the chef often switches it up. The menu is often changing but my favorites have remained, thank goodness...lol The fish and chips is a must try...I guarantee it is like no fish and chips you've had before! And ask for extra tartar. The smoked mac and cheese is the absolute best mac and cheese I have ever tried!! Must, must, must try! Playing darts and shuffleboard here is a lot of fun if you're not into pool. I wish they had more soups and more stout beers, but otherwise...this place is great!!

I had no idea such delicious food was hidden inside an unassuming billiard hall. The setup inside is cool yet classy. It was difficult narrowing down what we wanted to eat as everything looked delectable. We decided to try three of their craft burgers (Black Diamond Burger, Turducken Burger and Buffalo Duck Burger). All of the burgers were scrumptious in their own, unique way. Who would have thought to put stuffing on a burger or that you'd find a buffalo/duck burger in Spokane but surprisingly it all worked together in a tastefully appealing way! Even though all of the burgers tasted wonderful, our favorite was The Black Diamond Burger. I've been on a personal hunt to find the best craft burger in the Spokane and CDA area. It is definitely a must try burger! The Black Diamond Burger is exquisite in its simplicity. You can taste the difference in all of the food because they use high quality, fresh, local ingredients which make all the difference. Our family loves sauces and even their sauces are made from scratch. I appreciate that this establishment uses local ingredients as much as possible to support local businesses. The spinach artichoke dip croquettes and onion rings are a must try as well. You can tell that thought, passion, creativity, effort and talent are put into each dish on their menu. The service was great as well. We look forward to trying The Black Diamond again when we are in the Spokane Valley.

Lots of great eats on the new menu inspired by Chef Larry. I promise this is a spot you’ll want to add to your must visit list ASAP.

Each dish is intentionally crafted using fresh, local ingredients whenever possible. The flavors were outstanding and there’s something for everyone- from the vegan cauliflower ceviche to the kangaroo burger. Plus drink specials like Micro Mondays and Whiskey Wednesdays.

I've been coming here every Sunday for the better part of the football season. And I will DEFINITELY be back for the next season. The Black Diamond has a comfortable, laid back atmosphere. The food could be better/more consistent, but their service is where this place shines. Ashtyn and Courtney are both wonderful employees. No matter the need they are always one step ahead and have always been accommodating every time I visit. Thank you Black Diamond!

I was diagnosed with Celiac in 2017 and have not had good fried chicken since, until tonight. I almost cried 😭 it was amazing and the gluten free menu is very impressive, I will be back!

We are so happy to have tried Black Diamond! Don’t let the neighboring businesses bother you; everyone is so nice and welcoming. We ordered two kids’ meals and three adult entrees plus beer. EVERY ONE WAS DELICIOUS! Good service—important. Wi-fi: bonus. Kids and parents and Grandma all happy. Try it! (Oh, the music could improve but that’s the luck of the draw.we vote for classic rock.)

This is honestly a gem tucked away. For an hourly rate to play pool, it's honestly the best stop to hang with friends. Drinks and food are very reasonably priced.

Like to play pool, just not in some places. Several pool tables to choose from. Great service. Love the gals that work there. Pool tournaments too, kinda cool to watch

Decided to try this place out, I heard they had some gluten free options and they definitely do! They have an entire gluten free dedicated menu that has a ton of options! I highly recommend this place, we ordered the gluten free fish n chips and the gluten free tenders and they were delicious 😋
The fish is fresh and battered to perfection. It was plated beautifully and next time I come in I'll be sure to snap a photo but I was too busy drooling over the presentation.
This place serves hot fresh tasty food and smiles. They have a ton of pool tables to keep you entertained while you wait for you fresh food and fun music to dance along to.

Thank you for the plethora options of gluten free choices, it's not something I come by very often these days.

I went for the Bloody Mary Jam hosted by the Inland NW Blues Society. It was hosted by a phenomenal band and the jam was really great. Lots of fun people, great vibe.

Awesome new menu and great drink specials. Happy hour from 3-6 Monday thru Friday and specials at 7 on weekends. Bloody Mary's and mimosa specials kn sundays! Also have micro Mondays, tequila Tuesdays, happy hour all day on Wednesday and double shot Thursdays!

Best time ever at the Black Diamond in Spokane Valley with Benny as our bartender and Zack as our cook and Wayne as the backup dishwasher. we enjoyed our visit a great deal. They were shorthanded during the 9 ball pool tournament, but it was fantastic.

Surprisingly there was a lot of people but not over crowded. Sadly no AC. We was cooking in there. But the food was amazing. Their bloody Mary is the best.

Super awesome drinks! A little more expensive than I’m used to (I’m from Kansas so everything is hella cheap) but overall great drinks! The nachos are tasty and we get them every time. Last but not least the bartenders and the rest of the staff are super sweet and inviting! Also, the place is super clean and looks very nice. Definitely gonna keep going back!

COURTNEY is the best! She is so friendly and professional. We had a pretty large group tonight and she was a great sport…. We love having her as our server!

OMG Benny Zac Dodger did great Benny was the bomb by himself fool house and had a great attitude even how busy it was. It was fun my four sisters we called him Benny we were the jets!!! And Wayne was Elton John it was very fun. They all 3 did awesome your lucky to have great employees!!! Take care of them.

I love this place. There are pool tables, lots of tvs to watch the game and shuffleboard too. I just learned to play and I must say it is fun! Great place to unwind with friends.
