The food is ALWAYS good! The people are so nice and helpful. I love this place.

Delicous! Great food. My husband and I shared a whole samdwhich. We chose the steak, cheese, onions, mushroom w/ peppers and added French Fries. I have to say we were plenty full. Both of us then wished we had bought our own, to eat later.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. I called my niece to ask her why had she not mentioned this place before? She lives in SP. She had nonidea they reopened after Covid. At first glance the place appeared to be closed the shades were drawn. When inside thankfully they are drawn, keeps the sun out! Not closed, they are definetly OPEN!! Its a must stop when in Santa Paula.

Loved everything about the place. Employee are awsome and very helpful. Food is phenomenal I had the onions and mushrooms no sauce extra mayo. I highly recommend it! Will be back.

Santa Paula Steak And Hoagie makes a world class sandwich right here in little ole Santa Paula. The sandwiches and fries are outstanding. The owners used to own the Steak and Hoagie restaurant in ventura... and those fries used to be so good there and bring back memories of finishing off a day at the beach with the perfect meal. Fortunately those fries and sandwiches have made it to Santa Paula.

Been going to this place for years... family owned and operated, consistant, excellent quality.

I always go with a cheesesteak bomb.. no onion, no sauce add Mayo. Coke light ice.. light salt on the fries. I mis the ranch and ketchup in a small cup...wow

They always deliver on flavor.. sure it's a bit pricier than the golden arches... but you get what you pay for and you know what to expect. Fresh vegetables and thinly sliced RIBEYE steak.

Hands down the best cheesesteak in california.. and that says alot. Definitely Italy my #1 choice to splurge..

I was looking for a hot and hearty steak hoagie and this place has it. Next time I will try it without the marinara, more like Chicago style Italian Roast beef, can't wait to take one home next time passing through this area for my better half, sure to make a hit especially with those peppers on top.

I don’t like the plastic chairs and foldable tables BUT the food is great.

My only vice in this world is good food and I can say with the utmost confidence that at Santa Paula Steak and Hoagie, you are being served world-class food. With an emphasis on quality ingredients, every item on the menu is not only delicious, but it comes at a fair price. There is no better place to treat yourself! Dig in!

These were three friendliest people. I met the original owner and she was awesome. I remember a hoagie spot in Port Hueneme back in the 80's and it reminded me so much of this place. Well after telling the family, they said it was theirs back in the day. There's something about the atmosphere and I really enjoyed the food, family business and friendliness they all showed. I'll definitely go back. Oh, and the food? Just as good as I remembered it in the 80's, if not better.

Love Santa Paula Steak and Hoagie. Great food and the fries are freshly cut every day. Great service. I highly recommend to anyone with an empty stomach. Very friendly and great atmosphere. Customer service is one of the best.

I had a great sandwich, but it wasn't what I ordered. I didn't complain because it might have been partly my fault. You should be very clear about your order or they might make you something else. The fries were just okay.

First time here and I enjoyed the service greatly. The owner is super sweet and its obvious that he truly cares about his clients. The hot sandwich is pretty good a little pricey but the service is outstanding. Definitely try the soup it's delicious. Bravo.

One of my favorite "hidden gem". Come here for great cheesesteak sandwiches! Only quibble- they are no longer open on weekends so make sure to stop by during the week. Great staff

The Santa Paula Steak and Hoagie is an amazing restaurant that has the best sandwiches around. Others such as subway and other sandwich shops don’t hold a candle to the amazing quality and taste of the sandwiches made at the Steak and Hoagie. You can always count on the excellent staff that can whip up a quality sandwich that will leave you wanting more of it. I give the Santa Paula Steak and Hoagie if I could rate it higher on a scale of 1-10 to a 10/10.

Must eat in Santa Paula! If your in town and hungry this should be your first choice. The hoagies are the best sandwiches I have ever tried and their fries are as amazing. It is on the pricier side but definitely recommend.

I have never been disappointed with the sandwiches and burgers I have gotten here. Their fresh cut French fries are to die for. So good that I have to make a special trip to SP just to eat here.
