Santa Paula Family Store

Came here for last minute cups for Christmas and thankfully they’re still open! They have everything you could think of for a party or a simple car wash or to wrap gifts. A better question would be what they DON’T have. Service was good and the store looked like a chaotic mess that had some sort of organization before. Recommend coming here for random last minute situations for up coming events!

This was my first visit, I got a stainless steel water bottle, a deck of cards, 3 different nail clippers, toothpaste, a wire strainer, and Ponds cream cleanser - yes, I needed everything. You can also find piñatas, pots, pans, all sorts of homegoods, office supplies, toys, snacks and sodas, and lots more. Everything at a fair price.

Bought an RC vehicle from this store for my son 2 weeks before Christmas. My son opened it on Christmas and it didn't work. So after explaining to my son that some times toys in Santa's sled get broken I took it back to the store. Where the owner was extremely rude!. Note his receipts states you can make an exchange but not refunds. Nothing about how long you have to do this. We did not ask for a refund. We explained the situation of how it didnt work at all and we would like to exchange it. He proceeded to say 2 weeks was too long that we should have opened it within 24 hours. My husband stood his ground that it was a Christmas gift so we didn't know till Christmas day and that we don't open items before unwrapping them on Christmas. He then didn't believe it didn't work so he opened the box and tried it which showed it didn't work. He finally agreed to exchange it for a different colored one because he didn't have any other color which is fine, then proceeded to open that one to test and show us it works, again which was fine because we wouldn't need to come back but then being childish writes on the receipt that it can't be brought back. His attitude and rudeness were not called for at all. First time ever buying from him but we will never support his business again and suggest people test product in the store before purchasing or just not use this store at all.

I spent $130 on a pool and it was missing parts and because the store is not an authorized reseller I have to pay for said parts and can’t use the pool. Don’t waste your money or time at this business there’s a similar one across the street and give them your support.
