Exceptional customer service combined with technical expertise can be hard to come by, making it important to me that I share my experience with Flat 4 Automotive this week.

My care overheated driving from Seattle to Astoria. Despite being extremely busy, Flat 4 Automotive fit me in, and when it was determined that the car was beyond a simple repair, they let me, and my car wait at the shop until I found a tow truck & driver who could take it back north. All told, they graciously put up with me for about 6 or 7 hours.

The team's kindness and willingness to help me in a tough situation were greatly appreciated, and I highly recommend Flat 4 Automotive to everyone.

These guys were very friendly and forthcoming with pertinent maintenance information for my Outback. I brought my 2022 Outback Wilderness for the recommended 30k visit. After confirming the recommended maintenance with Chris, we discussed further maintenance and any other services I might or might not need in the future. They even gave me a ride home with my kid’s car seats because I did not plan ahead and take them out. I feel confident and comfortable leaving my car with them. They are Subaru folk and seem to know how to best care for their customers’ vehicles. I look forward to a long relationship without any pushy sales tactics. Trustworthy and informative!

Wow. Never having to visit the Subaru dealership again?! Yes, please! I haven't even picked up my car yet but the experience with Flat 4 is night-and-day different than the many awful experiences we have endured at Tacoma and Hanson Subaru. First of all, the price point is a fraction of dealership costs, the communication is WAY better, the diagnostics report is much more detailed and so super convenient to receive as text message. Oh and also, these guys are genuine and honest, they don't lie and misdiagnose, like Hanson & Tacoma Subaru. Back to reconsidering buying a new Subaru now that I know there is a local option for quality maintenance and repair work. Thank you so much!!!

Nick and his crew got our car in, diagnosed, and repaired quickly and were very thorough with their work. They did a great job and we will definitely have them take care of our Subaru from now on.

These guys are always consistent on their work and persistent on making sure their work is satisfactory. Even a month or two after having worked on my car, Nick or Chris reached out to make sure the issues they had fixed were still good and that my car was running well. These guys are great at what they do and their etiquette is very
professional. Just got more work done to my car and couldn’t be happier with it.

My daughter’s car was overheating on the way to her driving test. It was very stressful and we were able to coast in to the shop. Nick helped us right away and got the car back on the road in 20 minutes. I’m going back to get it full checked out. Nice guys there, highly recommend!

Love this shop! My car was overheating on the way to pick my dog up from a very important appointment. Luckily I was able to get my car to Flat 4. They quickly diagnosed the problem and were able to get it fixed within the same day. They were honest and communicated clearly what needed to be fixed. They went above an beyond and I’m so thankful for their help. I will definitely be back!

These guys are fantastic. I initially took my Subaru to a reputable dealership for a couple issues, but hesitated when I saw the price tag. I went to Flat 4 for a second quote, which came in about 30% lower than the first. They even tossed in some labor free of charge. Helpful, responsive, informative.

I found myself stranded Thanksgiving weekend and despite a very packed schedule, these guys got me off the side of the road and took time to look into the trouble for me. They handled handing me off to an excellent specialty shop while I made my way home safely by train. They made a stressful situation much easier and I am very grateful.

I had a belt replaced on my 2010 Subaru Impreza and they were incredibly helpful. They had great customer service and walked me through the entire process. They even let me into the shop to show me what they were doing. I recommend this shop to all of my friends.

We had a great experience with Flat 4 Automotive! Would totally recommend them, and will plan to go there for any future work our Subaru might need. We’d had a small but long-time oil leak and a mysterious rattle. Nick and his team did a great, thorough job in diagnosing and fixing the situation. Super happy with the work they did!

I love this business so much that I almost can’t wait to need another repair. Personable, straightforward approach. Timely response. Didn’t try to create a problem where none existed. For example: when I thought my brakes were having problems, the team checked them out thoroughly and assured me they were fine. They didn’t take advantage to suggest work that wasn’t needed. Meanwhile, the 100k servicing cost about $500-600 less than Honda had quoted me for the same work. Win-win-win.

I will DEFINITELY be coming back to Flat 4 for all my vehicle service needs in Olympia.

I feel like I had very honest and good experiences at Flat 4. The Olympia Jeep dealership let me drive away after an annual oil change and inspection with battery cables that were almost completely rotted off, so bad that a bump or slight hit could've broken them off-leaving me stranded somewhere (they said I needed my battery tested and maybe a new one, then on my inspection I saw the corrosion). They immediately lost my business and I luckily tried Flat 4. Flat 4 was honest about some repairs that will eventually be needed, and gave me a % on urgency of need on those repairs (instead of just "you need these expensive repairs" like the dealership provided).
They did a fantastic job replacing my battery cables, and quickly turned my vehicle around for an oil change during a later appointment. Highly recommended!

My engine light came on for different error codes, gave Flat4 Automotive a call and they were able to get me in, they found the errors, replaced what was needed and had my car back the same day. Better service than the dealership. Good service, good price. Moving forward it's the only place I'm taking my car.

Here's the deal.. I don't want to know these guys so well, but I went ahead and got a good deal on a car. Bad thing is, this car had some problems. Since the first time I gave Nick, Chris and his crew a ring to get some help with some issues (that became major), I've been treated with respect and they have shown some true customer service. When they say they are gonna do something, they do it. That could be calling back, getting a part in the timeframe they said, or completing a major repair quicker than they quoted. I appreciate the consistency and thoughtfulness these guys show their customers.

I would recommend them to anybody in Olympia looking for a trustworthy, kind, and thoughtful crew. There is a reason they have so many good reviews.

My husband already experienced excellent customer service at this location when we had our 4Runner looked at awhile back. When we made a purchase on a used vehicle, we immediately thought of this automotive center to schedule an inspection with. I had the pleasure of being helped by Nick! I came to this business to get my rear brakes replaced. My friend had recommended them in the past, but I had gotten into the habit of taking my car to the dealership. The dealership had quoted me almost $800 for rear brakes, not including rotors, and an additional $159 diagnostic fee to see why my "Brake" sensor was coming on. Nick was able to let me know immediately that it was because my fluid was low. Not only were they way more affordable compared to the dealership, but I was in and out within an hour. They were friendly, knowledgable, efficient, and the final price was exactly what I was quoted. I highly recommend them and will definitely be coming back in the future.
