Don't tell Craig, but he is AMAZING at doing hair. I have been going to him for 25 years. I have chased him from salon to salon throughout Redding (and Anderson...and Palo Cedro). He cannot seem to get rid of me.
Craig is very knowledgeable and attends classes to keep up with the trends. I appreciate he is always on time for my appointment.
I have already made my appointment for a root touch up for my own funeral in 22 years, 3 months and 5 days. I don't want him to be booked out that day.

Jene Bethea has saved my sanity and my hair!!! As I transition from salt n pepper to gray/silver, my black/brown hair got massacred in my home town of Mt Shasta. They put this semi permanent deep(boysenberry!) purple even though I just wanted a deep rose-gold semi-permanent. That damn purple still haunts me.

I was referred to Jene at Platinum (by Maria from Unique Beauty) who saved the day! She gave me silvery/light gold shimmers that compliment my dark hair. And holy smokes, watch out world. My family says I look 10 yrs younger, I'm flirting with paramedics/firefighter at cafes, and I am freakin' glowing. My confidence and my outlook on life changed after Jene worked her magic on my hair. She is a true hair sorceress of tresses.

Jene does amazing hair! I randomly thought I'd try a new salon and was placed with her and have been going to her for years now. She truly is the best!! She gets my color right every time and is super sweet! Love this salon and the complimentary wine is awesome!

Jene is a fantastic hairdresser and one of the very best with dyeing your hair. She stays on top of new fades and is always willing to try something new. If she has a opening make a appointment. Jene also does permanent make up, I have had my eyebrows done and eyeliner and I am totally happy with everything. she is a perfectionist and I like that. The owner of Platinum runs a high quality shop, Everything is very clean and products are full and the atmosphere is very pleasant & professional.

The place is pretty, comfortable and clean. Prices are fair and Jen is a sweetheart. She also does a great job on my hair of course. Would definitely recommend.

If you're looking for a new hairstylist I see "Jene". She's fantastic ( I have short hair). The entire shop is spotless & very welcoming! All the stylists are personable. I highly recommend Platinum to all.

We went to visit Jen. My 6 year old daughter got a haircut from a friend that needed fixing! Jen did a fantastic job. Was very patient with my daughter that chatted her up the entire time. She was super sweet AND did an amazing job with fixing the chip job. The entire salon was very professional and clean. It was our first time there and we'll both definitely be going back. Amazing place

I was able to book a last minute appointment fairly late in the day. My stylist was Morgan, and she was wonderful! My hair looks amazing, she knew exactly how to fix whatever the heck this other salon did to my hair (won't name them, they're really not that bad, I'm just a tough case I guess). She was very sweet and patient with me even though I kept her pretty late. Will be returning for touch ups. 10/10!

Beautiful salon. I feel beautiful now too! Thanks Penny! She did my hair the way I wanted when other salons said I couldn’t have it that way. She was excellent company also, loved talking with her. 2 hours just flew by!

If you need a chic salon with talent on hand, look no further than Platinum Salon. I've had services rendered for hair with Sir, 10/10. And I've had a couple excellent nail technicians work their art, I never hear the end of the compliments! They work by appointment so go ahead & make the call, it's worth the wait.

I had the best hair cut & experience by Craig! I’ve been to several places in town only to be let down. This salon is very well put together & you can even book your appointment online!! Will definitely be coming back :)

Definitely making this my permanant hair salon. I highly recommend this salon to anyone getting a professional hair cut. Best one in Redding. I went in and found out that i actually knew my stylist Morgan. Shes the best!! Great service. Great complimentary drinks. Great colors. Great people. Would give it a 6th star if i could.

Jamie does my nails fabulously every time! The staff are all friendly and I see great hairdos coming out of there.

Wonderful experience, my gal was Jen, but all those there seemed to be of good attitude. Cute, clean place.
Only downside is that parking is a bit limited & tight.
