Fidelity Investments

I have had a Fidelity account for perhaps 25 years. I have worked with them in two states and primarily three cities. The people at the Orem location consistently show the highest standards of competence, efficiency, and grace. I visit there less than once per month, but they are always impressive.

Been with Fidelity for 30 years -- love their service and the Orem Branch.

I like Fidelity but not this location. I went in for questions on my 401k with them and an IRA as I was looking at making some changes. This walk-in service is is included in my 401k plan and something I've done many times at other locations outside of Utah before moving here. The guy at the counter pointed me to the door and absolutely would not talk to me about my plans. Your best bet is to call the Fidelity number or go into the SLC location instead of wasting time to walk-in to this one.

The process seemed easy at first, but then they placed holds on my account for information that they did not even require in the set up process and every time I would call would place me on holds for 20+ minutes. Terrible customer service. It is impossible to efficiently solve anything with them.

Been on hold for hours with Fidelity I've been on hold since I called at 9am (still on hold at the time of this writing) so I thought I'd drop by a real location with real people and nope, no humans. You get 6 foot by 6 foot area when you walk inside what was once a nice office when people worked there. Your options are fill out one of 3 forms and put them in a box is the kind of service this location has right now.

Got offered a job here that was rescinded at the last minute because their system managed to send me a confirmation email that the background check application was received without their system receiving it. Ignored my messages for days until I threatened to contact a lawyer. Finally called me and effectively told me there "wasn't enough time" for them to undo their mistakes. I made plans surrounding the new job and because they can't operate a computer might not be able to pay rent. If this is the technology and professional levels they have for hiring employees, I can only imagine the atrocities that happen in their investment management. If they can lose an electronic application, what's to say they can't lose your retirement fund? They don't care about you, your mother, your kids, anyone.

Hiring process is a joke, they have people with waitress background interviewing people with associates management, financial and customer service experience, it is un justified rude and disrespectful. Made us wait an entire week to get rejected. Their questions are a joke. Dont recommend applying for these terrible people

Don’t bother walking in or making an appointment unless you have at least $100,000.00 to invest, they will not help you otherwise. If you don’t have $100,000.00 they can give you a phone number to call to discuss your financial situation with someone over the phone....seems pretty sketchy to do it this way. Very disappointing that they turn away business.

Absolutely the worst customer service ever! The guy at the counter was not interested in helping in any way. Even if you have enough money that they require to start working with financial planner they don't care... I don't know how this location exists... Will not go back.

I can't even ask a simple question on the phone without having jump through a hundred hoops talking to some automated message. This is terrible customer service.

you can never talk to a live person. I waited for over an hour 102 in line.... lol never got through.

Have tried for 3 days and no one answers the phone. Waited on hold for ~15 minutes each time. Still no answer.

I have been on hold for almost 3 hours.... I am still on hold as I write this.

Lobby still closed. I regret banking here.
