Sanaa

This is an incredible place for an amazing meal (or 2, because of leftovers). The tomato soup is beautiful, the bread service is astounding, the meat is always cooked to perfection! The view, during the day, is amazing as well!

Had lunch and throughly enjoyed everything we ordered. Bread service with dipping sauces were tasty and hearty. Butter chicken was flavorful and the collard greens were amazing. Don’t pass on the 3 chocolates dessert.

Vegan options! The bread service was good! It's tough to not fill up on the vegan gluten free bread (vegan option is gluten free) I really liked the collard green dish along with the daal and lentils dish. Was not a fan of the vegetable curry. The rice was a little undercooked. Left full. Did not get to try vegan dessert

We loved our first (but definitely not our last) time dining at Sanaa in Animal Kingdom Lodge! Though we didn’t quite get a seat close to the animals and our reservation was for 5:20, this place is a MUST stop for delicious and unique cuisine. The Indian bread service was flavorful and fun, and the fresh fish entree with coconut curry and cauliflower was amazing. Also got butter chicken and collard greens side with rice- all very good. The African star mojito and painted lemur cocktail were drinks I’d 100% get again. Overall, delicious food, wonderful service with our hostess explaining the history and artwork of the restaurant, and unique environment being immersed with the animals, makes it a must do in my opinion!

Delicious food, wonderful service, and the best atmosphere you can get being a window glass pane away from a zebra and a crane. First, you have to get the bread service. One of the best things on the menu. You get 5 different flavors of naan and then 9 sauces. You can ask for an even spicier sauce to get a 10 one added to the mix. It is really spicy though (you've been warned). I ordered the Potjie Inspired with Butter Chicken, Rajma Masala, and Basmati Rice. Literally the best buttered chicken I have ever tasted. Tender and so flavorful with every bite and when you add the rice and masala, pure perfection. All of the deserts are divine and you can't go wrong with any of them. This place was wild and one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Highly recommend!

First meal in orlando, it was a good surprise!

The service was impeccable and the servers were kind and welcoming
The atmosphere was nice and the architecture was unique. During the day, you can see wildlife roaming around by the windows. It was a little noisy, but that is it.
Sanaa is a must come for all, especially if you love animals.

Watch animals walk by the window as you eat a delicious meal. The gluten-free naan bread service was a highlight for us, and everything was absolutely delicious from kids’ meals to beverages. We loved Sanaa so much our first time there that we made reservations again for two nights later.

Sanaa is definitely a one in a million type of restaurant. The flavor and quality of the food were some of the best we've ever had. The Naan platter is what Sanaa is known for, and the endless flavor combinations of breads & sauces to go with it are enough to satisfy any palette.
Olivia was our server, and her customer service was second to none. She made our experience so much better than we could have expected with her wonderful personality and knowledge of the menu and drinks.
Will definitely be making this a go-to for future trips.

Great way to visit with a one year old, young parents, grandparents and a great grandmother. We had a nice family meal, had the opportunity to see many animals, took a short shuttle to the other lodge, and left after a couple of hours.

Sanaa is an unusual restaurant. It is African food. Be sure to ask for a table by the window. You will see all kinds of animals that live in the African habitat. The drinks were excellent. The food was delicious. We had samosa and lamb Kefka. They were very favorable and not hot spices. The entree was rice, beans, and a seafood dish with shrimp and a white fish

I go to Sanaa every few months an have for about 9 years or more, an they are always amazing. I am allergic to onions, an asked about the lamb meatballs appetizer, an the chef created something amazing, it was so delicious. The chef brought it out, an told me what all it was, but I cant recall what all he said, but was the best thing ive ever had. So perfect i cant wait to go back soon an have it again. My fiancé helped plan my first Disneyworld experience, and I went with him and his family. This was my first restaurant to start off my adventure, and it was absolutely amazing!!

The interior of the restaurant is absolutely breathtaking. It has African and Indian influences in the colours, decor and furniture. The staff here, of course, are some of the nicest and most accommodating on the planet: we were in Disneyworld, after all!

We ordered their Naan Platter, which came with 5 different types of naan; all delicious! They were accompanied by 9 different sauces, which our server informed us, from left to right and going downwards, went from mildest to spiciest. Everything paired perfectly, and was absolutely phenomenal.

For our mains, we each ordered their Butter Chicken sets, which came with rice, beans, and the butter chicken in curry sauce. Everything was served piping hot, the chicken was tender, and the curry was absolutely packed with rich flavours.

There was a bit of a wait for a table for this restaurant as it is very popular, but worth the wait! You can call ahead during your stay, or plan it through the Disney app to make a reservation. I highly recommend this you visit this restaurant while visiting Disneyworld! The food is truly magical!

Sanaa is at the lower level of kidani village in disneys animal kingdom lodge. It is an African inspired upper level dining restaurant that is themed as if it were outside in an African village marketplace. The atmosphere is like none other as there is a window wall that looks out on the Savanah where exotic animals graze and mingle. Giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and many exotic birds can be viewed while enjoying your meal from inside. The service is always as good as it gets at any level. The bread service is something that should just be a standard as it is something no one should miss out on. It is naan cooked in a tandoori oven the authentic way. They serve five different types of naan along with 12 different sauces from blazing hot to smooth and cool. That are all delicious! The fish in the picture was served on top of a yucca fried pancake and it was literally the best piece of fish I have ever eaten! The braised beef is perfectly seasoned and is a true reflection of African cuisine. It was so tasty. The butter chicken is a dish that you can never go wrong ordering as well. The New York strip steak is a perfect cut of meat and cooked just as you like it every time. Sanaa goes down on my list as one of my all time favorite places to dine anywhere in the world! Go there! Oh by the way, if you can’t get a reservation, show up just before 5:00 and go to the bar. There are a few tables in there and if you’re early enough, you can get one. They serve the full dinner menu starting at 5:00.

We are in the Sanaa Lounge. Our server was great and the atmosphere is very relaxed. The bread service is enough for a meal on its own with near limitless variety. The steak was cooked perfectly and very tender. And the mousse was very delicious and rich.

The food is so delicious! It has some heat to it though. The drinks were good, the mojito was so smooth. The menu has descriptions on the side to help you decide what to order, and the staff was very knowledgeable. And the resort is so beautiful

Sanaa is amazing! As usual, Disney has great allergy options and their GF bread service was amazing!! Absolutely do not skip the bread service. 2 Adults split bread service & and a Potjie plate with leftovers to take home. The views at the window we're so great, especially at sunset. The only thing we did not like was our server Amy.

I came here 5yrs ago and this came came back just for their bread service. They have an option on the menu for 5 Naans and 9 different dips/chutney and it is MUST try! The Naans are plane, giner, spicy, and two paratha. We were a table of 4 and we were hungry, and as a result, we demolished that Naan plate.
For food, we got the soup of the day, butter Chicken with Lentil daal, the steak and the shrimp dish. Everything was delicious!

Delicious! It's described as African food with Indian influence, but that influence is HEAVY, so it felt more like Indian food with an African slant. But either way, it was still wonderful! Highly recommend the bread service - five different kinds of naan with nine different sauces make for some great flavor combinations! The Samaki Wa Kupaka (fish dish) was unbelievable!

Had a great experience. Bread service is a good way to start and maybe let your littles try some different flavors. Service is very good as you'd expect at an upscale Disney experience. Also, zebra, giraffe, and wildebeest right out the window.
