Cafe Everest

This is the 2nd Nepalese restaurant I have tried, The 1st one was Everest Gurkha at York in the UK which will always be special to me. This restaurant also didn't disappoint me.

The food was very close to Indian cooking. Being vegetarian, I tried Fried Veg Momo's (Monday being Momo Day ☺), Veg Chow Mein Noodles and Masala tea. The Chow Mein along with veggies also had paneer in it which was a surprise but very refreshing to eat. The preparation was fresh, tasty and the portions were adequate. I also had masala tea, which along with the spicy bay leaf, ginger had a hint of jasmine to it, making it loaded with flavors.

The staff was very polite and pleasing. They even offered me an additional cup of tea while I was waiting for my next dish.

I will suggest this restaurant if you like Indo Chinese spicy flavours.

The food here hit very close to home. We ordered chatpate (raw noodle spicy salad) and chicken/veg soup dumplings. Both of them had very authentic Nepali taste. The didi who catered us was very friendly and fun to chat with. We were the last ones there at around 10.45 PM and it was the Christmas eve. They opened the dine-in for almost 11.30 PM for us, for that we are very appreciative.
Would love to go there for momos again when we get to go to Arlington. ✌

I had the pleasure of visiting Nepal in few occasion and I was captivated by the kindness of the people. This restaurant is run by very kind and hard working people who bring the most popular Nepali dishes to DFW.
The food was made on request, fresh and full of flavor. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. I also recommend to give a try to the chai masala hot tea.
Restaurant is open for take out till 11pm!

Tried Nepalese food for the first time and they didn't disappoint..

So happy I found this place, I’ve lived in Arlington for a while but it barely popped up on my search, weird, review so we can boost this place. We started with chicken spring rolls, super crispy and the sauce it came with was yummy, next we got chicken momo super savory, and chicken fried rice was seasoned well!

Great experience. The Gobi Manchurian is worth the visit. It's so delicious. It was sweet, spicy, savory. The atmosphere was a nice experience. They had a Nepalese movie on which caught my attention. The owner, there were only 2 people working, told me all about the movie. The service was great as well. We were quickly greeted then the same person cooked our food. I believe the owner came in a bit after and was really sweet to us. They're proud of their food and you can taste it and see it.

The food was delicious. I had the Lamb curry and the owner came out and talked to me. Great service great people and great food.

I love this place, the customer service is excellent and the food is breathe taken. If i could give more stars i will, this is a different flavor or food and i am sooo excited that i opened myself to try something new:-)

The wok-tossed chicken momos were so flavorful! I was surprised by how well seasoned they were and really enjoyed them a lot. They came with a delicious sauce and the strawberry lassi that I ordered was good as well. The waitress was very friendly and helpful.

The food tasted amazing and service was great. I placed a big order, and it was ready for pick up quickly. Would definitely get the Chicken Tikka masala again. The Kung fu Chicken Momo were also delicious.

Amazing food!! First time coming here and it definitely won’t be our last! We had Chicken momos, chicken pakora and chicken chow mein loved it all!! Definitely come try it and the service will not leave you disappointed!

Last weekend, a group of nine of us spontaneously visited Cafe Everest without prior notice. Despite the busy atmosphere, the management handled everything remarkably well. The customer service was excellent, and the food was both delicious and fresh. Personally, I particularly enjoyed the samosas and amla pickle. I highly recommend Cafe Everest as the best Nepali food establishment in town.

The food tastes very authentic Nepali. The vegetarian momos are the best here. Nice place, peaceful, and our server was very friendly. Please try them.

I would come back here every week if I lived in Arlington. The food is so delicious, and the owner is so friendly. I’ve never felt so cared for in a restaurant. The pork momo is a must

I went to this restaurant almost during closing time, still the staff was very friendly and patient while serving the food. The food tasted authentic Nepali and was tasty. I really liked the Chow Mein and the chicken momos. Definitely recommend this place.

Surprised how good everything was, kung fu momo was crunchy and soft inside. Chow mien portion is generous and filling. The somosa was so silkly inside and madd fresh by hand. The dessert was the best part. After the spicy and salty delicious food the veggie based dessert was just sweet enough to cut it all through. 10/10 recommend

This was my first time coming here. The food was delicious. The customer service was amazing. The owner was really friendly and accommodating to being vegan. Would definitely recommend if your in the neighborhood.
