Lucky Pie Pizza & Taphouse

We just had the pleasure of hosting a 75 person party at Lucky Pie. We had an open house, with beer and wine. The whole staff was attentive and kept all the dishes full and made sure fresh things were fresh. Food was delicious — had the full range from pizza to salads, meatballs, appetizers. Great spread! The wait staff kept the drinks coming, and made sure everyone was well taken care of. I highly recommend Lucky Pie — for lunch, dinner or a party! The general manager, Sarah, and Gabe, who orchestrated the food service were easy to work with, and both did a great job. Thank you Lucky Pie!!

It’s a gem in Downtown Louisville. We went for lunch and it wasn’t too crowded. We got to sit outside in the sun ☀ which made it even better!

The kids meals are pretty expensive $10-14 pp but the pizzas are kid approved!

We ordered the bee sting (9/10), arugula salad (10/10), bacon peanut brittle (7/10), kids pepperoni and kids cheese (10/10).

Delightful!

Amazing food. Had some hummus and burrata. Excellent appetizers for sure, but was blown away by the delicious pizza crust.

A local favorite! Amazing food - the smoked mozz and homemade burrata top any pizza with exceptional flavor. Try the Bee Sting to see how CO honey can pair perfectly with herbs, truffle ricotta and soppresseta! We also love the spicy Caesar and the Beet salads. Casual and friendly, unpretentious. Visit after visit - we are never disappointed. Eat local, get Lucky.

Great family friendly atmosphere with indoor/outdoor seating. Excellent service! Napoleon style thin pizza is a must!! Inside bar with great craft beer, wine and alcohol. Moscow mule is my favorite! Family seating outside are picnic tables. Crayons and coloring sheets provided for children. A sizable grassy area with benches and chairs to sit outside side and enjoy the weather. 2 gardens that are used for a fresh menu. They have specials on drinks and food. Plenty of off street and n street parking. They have a Togo menu!! A must try.

We've been going here for over a year and it's always been a great experience and great food. The seasonal bruschetta is really fun as it changes often and is always delicious. The pizza is really great as well and the service is friendly!

Phenomenal pizza! I visited with my wife and sister-in-law and we enjoyed the Prosciutto 2.0 and Fresh Mozzarella pizzas and both were amazing. The crust is done to perfection, and the toppings on each were very complimentary and worked very well together. I highly recommend stopping by and grabbing a pie or two!

Best pizza I’ve ever had in the states. I’m sensitive to processed wheat and I can eat here because they use organic flour and incredibly high quality ingredients!! I do wish they were open past 8pm.

We had an office party with Lucky Pie catering pizza!! The food was amazing!!! Everyone was complimenting us on the food!! Brett was extremely nice and I can’t remember the name of the woman, but she was so sweet and together they were a great team. I highly recommend them!!! Also, thank you for the delicious food, I took home a pizza and my kids loved it as well!

The staff seems to be really upbeat and friendly. Scrumptious food and beverage rounds it out nicely the patio is delightful and room for kids to play complete the package. Having sweet cow next store is a bonus.

Amazing Burrata pizza, literally come every week and have the same thing, it's that good!! And the choice of beer is great, Juicy IPA is to die for
Edit, still amazing and the burrata is the best pizza I have eaten ever. Edit 2 Burrata currently has meat in it over winter, so beware, they do a veggie but you have to ask, always 10/10

This might be my favorite pizza place I’ve found since moving to the area! Great vibes, great drinks, and most importantly… great pizza!

Amazing pizza not the biggest pies but for the size it has the most flavor of any pizza I've had. The mushroom pizza with the white sauce 🤯, out of this world. The banana hammock my goodness.

Not a pizza review, but if you get a chance to try their “Dark and Thorny,” do- it’s delicious!(it’s a Dark and Stormy with basil syrup and lime!)

Had the Burrata pizza last night. It was hands down the best pizza I have ever had!

Excellent! Pizza is fancy, fresh and tasty. Great beer selection. Lunch specials with smaller pies now! Service is generally above par. Bathrooms good. Great for kids, but REALLY kid heavy at lunch😉

The food here is mostly amazing. The pizza I ordered was incredible, and the spicy Caesar salad was amazing. The burrata, however, was relatively bland and the small drizzling of aged balsamic wasn't enough to save it.

Still, I'd come back here for the pizza any day of the week, and the outside seating area is really quaint and a fun change of pace.

We sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. We ate off the HH menu and ordered the meatballs and a byo pizza. Lucky Pie is one of the few places around that actually does true NY style pizza right and it's delicious and ultra thin. The location is easy to get to and next to a delicious ice cream shop!

Solid pizza with very unique toppings and very thin crust. Sit on the bar side for happy hour - good selection of 4 or 5 happy hour beers for $5, and red or white wine for $5. Cheese pizza for $6, which is great for a nice snack.
