This is a 5 mile out and back hike which I would rate moderate. Beautiful views with connecting trails to other routes. Dog friendly. Best time to hike is in the cooler months because there is little shade and no water source.

Beautiful hike. Easy path with markers along the way. Good for beginners, kids, dogs, and bikes.

with all this quarantine and pandemic stuff, it's hard to find a trailhead in St George or Washington that isn't just covered and crawling with people. this is one of those trails that if you are walking you will not be running into people very often, I've always passed by this area and never knew what it was and since I saw a lot of bicyclists I thought that the trail was not for a pedestrian like me. It turns out that this trail was very easy, accessible, and had great weather with the Sun hitting the trail for most of the walk. we just went straight and stuck to the trail, but there is lots of smaller trails to the left and right for bicycling and for kids to have fun on. highly recommend

Easy access and plenty of parking on weekdays. Access to several great to rails. Open to bikes, hiking, and equestrian traffic. Definitely worth checking out.

Such a blast!!! I’m always looking for hikes that are simple enough for the kids but not over crowded. FINALLY FOUND ONE!!! And this is the perfect time to go, me, because all of the flowers are in bloom!

This trail is a beautiful and easy hike. I'm very out of shape since having a baby and being in quarentine, so I was nervous about going on a hike with my dogs, but I had nothing to worry about! It was beautiful while still being easy. Not steep, and a pretty smooth path. In fact next time I think I might bring the stroller. I only saw one or two other people on the hike, and they kept their distance and had their dogs leashed.

Very pretty red rocks! This is a nice, easy hike so long as you bring plenty of water. I'd do it early in the morning before the sun makes it scorching hot. We took family photos here in the iconic Southern Utah scenery.

Awesome set of trails back here. I live just a mile away and love to go up after work for some fresh air and sunsets.
There are some trails in the back that have some awesome overlooks and you can see all of Hurricane and all the way out to Zion through a slot canyon with a cliff. about half a mile in where the trail takes a hard left if you take a right off the trail you can get to a nice overlook of the freeway and its a great spot for a beer.
