City Roots Dental

We just recently moved to Denver, and you know the dreaded part of moving is finding all new medical providers. I could not be more thrilled with what we found at City Roots Dental. I’ve had the pleasure to work with both dentists and both are wonderful. If you’re looking for a clean, professional and overall energetically great place, this is it.

I’ve been coming to City Roots Dental for a few years now and highly recommend to anyone looking for a new dental practice. Prior to coming here, I dreaded the dentist. Everyone from the doctors, dental assistants, hygienists and front desk team are wonderful. Definitely go check out City Roots Dental!

I love City Roots Dental. Dr. Janda is kind and wonderful human, beyond amazing! ❤ Holly is the best hygienist ever and the rest of the staff is phenomenal. I actually love going to the dentist haha!
Dr Janda and her staff did my invisalign and it was one of the best things I have ever done for myself, so happy!! It only took five months but I have to wear my retainers for a month and a half. The difference is mindblowing, so happy I did this, thank you so much Dr. Janda and staff.😊

I am always anxious about going to a new dental office, having had numerous bad experiences. I have neurocognitive differences and chronic jaw pain and headaches, made worse by keeping my mouth open for cleanings and x-rays. I often put off care for these reasons.

While living in Denver, I was able to get my 6 month cleanings on schedule. Every member of the staff was kind, responsive to my needs, and made for I felt safe and comfortable. The vibe of the place tells me that the staff feels supported in the practice. I would especially recommend this practice for other members of the LGBTQ community. It feels affirming and welcoming.

I had a wonderful experience with City Roots Dental. I went to them because my wife highly recommended them. We live over an hour away, but she had such wonderful things to say, I decided to give them a try. I went to them for a second opinion, which they did for free! The staff was incredible. Very kind and welcoming and willing to do what it took to get me the care I needed. I had a unique situation, so I needed to be referred to a gum specialist. The team at City Roots called several locations on my behalf until they found someone that could see me the same day. The place they referred me to was also wonderful.

Excellent, friendly, thorough group of people here. I never leave reviews on places but these cats won my heart. You can tell they care about the patient rather than milking wallets. Go here. Your chompers will thank you.

I never in my wildest dreams thought I would actually ENJOY going to a dentist until I found City Roots. The dentists and staff are truly world-class; the environment is clean and comfortable; and overall energy of the office is calm and friendly. Completely opposite to how other dentists in the Highlands practice, City Roots is conservative in their approach to dental care, meaning you won't be advised to get expensive procedures done unless you truly need them. Can't recommend them enough!

Love City Roots! Super kind all around - front desk, assistants, and dentists. Laid back and caring. I've gone for cleanings and for work and it's been absolutely great.

My dad was a dentist so I have a high standard for dentistry and they absolutely go above and beyond!

Other dentists in the area have done terrible work on me - for example, I've had to get fillings done THREE times because she didn't put them on correctly (in a rush). Dr. Janda is my main, but both are not in a rush and make sure they are doing their best work. Highly recommend going here above all others in north Denver.

Shout out to Dr. Janda and Dr. Garrison and their entire team. Pros, kind, lots of smiles, understanding and just good people. The music goes from Dolly’s Jolene, to 4 Non Blondes to Alanis. What’s more rad than that? Who do you trust with your smile?

I had avoided the dentist for a number of years and I was super hesitant to go. I simply Google searched local dentist offices in my neighborhood and decided to give City Roots a try since it had such great reviews! I can honestly say I now understand and I am not sure why I avoided the dentist for so long. Dr. Garrison makes the process easy and lighthearted. My appointments never fail to bore me and I know I am in good hands. As a person who had to get 5 fillings, I can assure you that it is not as bad as it sounds when you go to City Roots. They accept my insurance and there's parking and the facility is easily accessible. I could not even find a complaint if I had to. Give them a try and you'll understand what I am talking about!

I’ve had some really rough experiences with dentists, so I hadn’t been in 7 years or so. I was incredibly anxious about my appointment, but Dr. Janda, Dr. Garrison, and Rhonda, were all incredibly lovely. I received compassionate and empathetic care, and I felt listened to and validated during every step of the process. Really and truly the best dental care I’ve ever received, and I’ve been recommending this office to all my friends.

Going to the dentist is normally a drag…maybe even a dreaded event. That’s never the case with my visits to City Roots Dental. Dr. Garrison and the staff make it, dare I say, an enjoyable experience. The entire office is a caring, fun bunch who love what they do and it shows through their communications and the dental work they perform. I am very appreciative and thankful to have such a great dental office in the West Highland neighborhood.

Amanda the dental hygienist took great care of me. Getting your teeth cleaned is never pleasant but they made the experience less unpleasant than usual.

They are such a great Dental Office! I get nervous because I’ve had other offices in the greater Denver area say they take my insurance and then they change providers at the last minute. This office is really open about accepting the insurance I have and will work with my benefits etc checking what makes sense based on what is covered. I also think they do a good job of connecting with patients!

Hands down one of the best experiences I have had at a dentist! City Roots Dental is located in a great area that is easy to get to. The office is warm and inviting and the staff could not be more friendly! Dr. Garrison is funny and has a way of putting you at ease. Dr. Janda is incredibly knowledgeable and reassuring. For someone who does not like going to the dentist, I really enjoyed my visit. I highly recommend checking them out!

A good friend highly recommended City Roots. I read the reviews online, and decided to make an appointment in person. I was happily impressed, and went to my cleaning appointment. I met Dr. Janda, and scheduled a procedure with Dr. Garrison. I am dazzled by their professionalism, and attitude, from the front office, dental assistant, and doctors!!!! I immediately made an appointment for my husband in February. I would recommend City Roots to anyone interested in getting top notch painless dental care.

This is probably long overdue! Why do I always make it a priority to leave bad reviews but not great ones.

I’ve been going here for almost 2 years now and see Liz. She is the BEST. She remembers my teeth which is a weird thing to say, but she does! She educates and never makes me feel bad. Dr Janda and Dr Garrison are both great when they’ve popped in for my exam.

They have 7AM appointments which is amazing for people who work 8-5. I’ve moved further south and it now takes me 40 minutes to get here but I haven’t had the heart to change practices. At my last visit, I arrived 15 minutes late (why can’t I ever just take into account morning traffic). The woman at the front told me I would only have enough time for an exam or a cleaning. Well, that’s fair; I can’t put Liz behind for the rest of the day. When I got back to Liz’s chair, she was so nice and accommodating and truly tried to make time for both. Ive also had trays made for teeth whitening. Everything is always a very positive experience at the office, which I should say is modern-looking and very clean.

Best dentist I’ve ever been to! I came here for a second opinion after a negative experience at another dental firm. Dr. Janda and her team have taken great care of me with a consultation and a crown. Thoughtful, detailed and kind are just a few words to describe this place. Thank you City Roots!

I am so thankful for City Roots Dental! I had a really bad experience at another dentist and needed a second opinion. They got me in quickly and the overall experience was fantastic. The staff is wonderful and Dr. Janda was so helpful and thoughtful. I have found my forever dentist.

Amazing dentists and hygienists. Knowledgeable, relational, responsive to patient feedback and requests. It's not easy to find a trustworthy dentists but these folks are the real deal!
