Walgreens

I just had my prescriptions refilled at Walgreens today. Much to my surprise this store is closing. WHY? We make it a point to drive further with a Walgreens closer to patronize this store. Daniel the Pharmacist has been wonderful as well as his staff. Feel that corporate only sees money and not the relationships that the staff brings to the table. I wish the store staff best wishes and good health.

But why can't this place be open on weekends!
Closing a pharmacy on a weekend is like a school being closed during the week.

Our scheduled appointment for flu and covid shots were cancelled by text Friday by CVS. I attempted to call CVS numerous times but from experience know they seldom answer the phone. Neighbors appointment also canceled same way and so they went to this location to pharmacy and recommended. I quickly got registered and got a shot by an expert pharmacist. I told him that he was the best for any shots I have had my entire life.
Location is a ways a way for me, but I found the drive, obviously worth it. Thank you sir for your expert shots!

02 04 2024 Sunday re: Walgreens located at 4305 E Platte Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80915 - Met cashiers Ashton and Grace ... Grace walked the store with me and showed me where everything was that I needed to get. Both Ashton and Grace were very cordial, patient and pleasant with me. (Grace likes country ham ... I must remember to bring her some one of these Sundays!) This was a clean store and well-stocked: I was able to pick up my whole list without having to go elsewhere, a definite plus.

This Walgreens should be a training ground for every other pharmacy. I have never had such a great experience with any pharmacy, anywhere else.
The wait times are short, the staff is friendly and helpful. The pharmacist (is it Greg or Derrick? Sorry, I can't remember) he calls every time you get a new script filled to see how you're doing with it and to see if you have any questions - The actual pharmacist!! That is impeccable customer service. Way to go, whoever is managing this Walgreens! You know what you're doing. Teach the others. Lol

Reliable. When I needed a prescription quick, they were able to expedite it--especially considering the chelton rd walgreens decided they couldn't fill my prescription after we already tried to pick it up.

Sales associate Destiny went above and beyond. I called and asked if they had a TENS device, she went and looked; they had one left. She took the initiative and offered to hold it for me. When we got there, she was warm and friendly, and made us feel welcome. Great experience!

This Walgreens is the best in the Springs. I have been to numerous other Walgreens but this one is by far the BEST! Daniel is the pharmacist who really cares about the customers who visit this location. You can tell by his interactions that he genuinely enjoys taking care of people and putting a smile on their faces. He will go out of his way to interact with the customers who come in. Most pharmacists will not assist customers but that’s not the case here. Thank you Platte and Murray Walgreens for taking care of me and my family!!!

The pharmacy staff is really nice and even when busy they try very hard to get you done quickly. I get a text message when my prescription is ready so I drop it off and do another errand. They also told me a secret is to come later at night, not on the way home from work rush hour, or on weekends are not as busy.

I was getting some medication for my mom and a very nice girl Samantha took care of my order. My mom's insurance card for pharmacy was not valid for another two weeks and the medications were almost $300. I had no choice but buy them. Samantha told me to look for other cards and try other options. I came back the next day and she helped me figure out an alternative and saved me a lot of money. She was very professional, patient, kind and pleasant and took her time to help me figure everything out. Thank you, Samantha!

I give these 5 🌟 to Danny the morning cashier. She is the best in the world . Kind sweet and above all the best cashier and person I have ever known. Danny is a great worker and is vary helpful. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Gotta tell ya. The other night I called in and asked if they had sour cream. Jeannie, hope I spelled it right, I saw her name tag for a second, she answered and held the sour cream for me until I got there. Made my night and week to know there is good people out there. Thank you Jeannie (still hope I spelled that right)!!!!!

Daniel and is his team in the pharmacy are the best. Always willing to help out and do what they can. I appreciate you guys and will always come this store. Thank you😊

I went in for a non US passport photo with very specific instructions, received fabulous service. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and very patient, all with a smile.

They help me for what I need . Give good advice. Will find everything you need or special order what you need. Every time I'm there I call the 1 800 number and give good interview.

Had a problem with my insuarence card they had no problem helping get it resolved,

This one is the BEST and my favorite! Everyone goes out of their way to help out as far as the pharmacy goes.

Walgreens is my favorite go to pharmacy good service late hours and clean environment.
